Blend-o-licious endorsements...

The Christian Civic League of Maine's Mike Hein calls Pam's House Blend:
"a leading source of radical homosexual propaganda, anti-Christian bigotry, and radical transgender advocacy."

He is "praying that Pam Spaulding will "turn away from her wicked and sinful promotion of homosexual behavior." (CCLM's web site, 10/15/07)

Ex-gay "Christian" activist James Hartline on Pam:
"I have been mocked over and over again by ungodly and unprincipled anti-christian lesbians."
(from "Six Years In Sodom: From The Journal Of James Hartline," 9/4/2006, written from the "homosexual stronghold" of Hillcrest in San Diego).

"Pam is a 'twisted lesbian sister' and an 'embittered lesbian' of the 'self-imposed gutteral experiences of the gay ghetto.'" -- 9/5/2008

Peter LaBarbera of Americans for Truth Against Homosexuality heartily endorses the Blend, calling Pam:

A "vicious anti-Christian lesbian activist."
(Concerned Women for America's radio show [9:15], 1/25/07)

"A nutty lesbian blogger."
(MassResistance radio show [16:25], 2/3/07)

Pam's House Blend always seems to find these sick f*cks. The area of the country she is in? The home state of her wife? I know, they are everywhere. Pam just does such a great job of bringing them out into the light.

More "Out-Of-Staters" Weighing In On Maine's Marriage Bills

by: Louise

Fri Mar 20, 2009 at 08:43:11 AM EDT

As of yesterday, there is now a "compromise bill" being offered that frankly, is not going to go anywhere imo.

Flipping through radio channels this morning, I heard something new- a commercial against gay marriage by NationForMarriage.org It's awful- a little girl's voice is used to ask the usual drivel of questions, a "concerned" woman doing the sell... GAH.

Didn't know right off who the heck they were, so came home and looked them up.

From their site:

Stand for Marriage in the Northeast!

NOM Launches Northeast Action Plan!

March 16, 2009 -- NOM launched its Northeast Action Plan today with a series of radio ads airing in Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine. The ads open with a child asking questions about same-sex marriage: "If my Dad married a man, who would be my Mom?"

Listeners then hear an urgent marriage alert, asking them to contact their legislators in opposition to same-sex marriage legislation pending in the three states.

We need your help! Please make a generous donation today to help us keep these ads on the air!

So went to their "About Us"- lo and behold, their "president" is none other than Maggie Gallagher!

More below...

Louise :: More "Out-Of-Staters" Weighing In On Maine's Marriage Bills
But here's the thing- manuevers like Perkins', Gallagher's and no doubt future others, will NOT go over well here.

Right after the Perkins/Heath shindig recently, volunteers for EQME and I spent an afternoon gathering signatures of folks around Augusta that support equal marriage rights.

Not only did we end up with over double our expected quota (plus more volunteers and donations), but we got some interesting feedback.

Like the elderly woman, married for 38 years, who literally ripped the clipboard from my hands to sign the cards. She told me how disgusted she was that :out-of-staters" (a native's VERY rudest and derisive way to refer to non-natives) were coming into Maine, rather than minding their own business and letting US MAINERS all discuss, debate and decide for ourselves.

She further added that she "would love to punch that Michael Heath fella right in the SNOOT!", shaking her fist to illustrate.

I love my fellow Mainers some days...but here's my prediction.

LD 1020 is going to pass. And get signed. And get protested. And go to referendum this fall- IF the opposition can get enough signatures of support.

They keep pulling stunts like this and they may not get that far...

Busted!
With your skewer of Maggie Gallagher, this was the best morning laugh I've had in a few days. Good detective work there, I hope it is picked up by others for distribution.

And my hopes are with you that Maine will quickly join a solidifying bloc of equal marriage New England states and provide the road map to victory that the LGTB leadership  apparently didn't have, or use, in California.

The "compromise" bill introduced in MA was so popular that
it's own author ultimately voted against it!  Poor Senator Lees would ask each person testifying before the Senate committee what they thought of his bill.   The haters hated it because it gave us anything, and we hated it because it gave us less than.  He very practically spoke out against it o the senate floor and voted against it.  He eventually supported marriage equality by voting against the anti-equality amendments.  As a popular Republican, this was a gutsy and honorable thing for him to do, and I will never forget him for it.

Lurleen on Twitter

Maggie Gallagher,
She is enough to help put voters on our side.  She was on the Dr. Phil show were she gained the fitting nickname, ORCA.  Gavin Newsom was also on and debunked all the garbage she spewed.  I will look for the website I saw it on, it has a quote by Orca, and then it is completely debunked.  The one thing about Maggie is she can't openly debate without looking like she is chowing down on 20 pounds of Mullet.

If I make sense? it was quite by accident.

LOL!
It's hilarious that Maggie, a glutton - one of the deadliest sins - is sticking her nose in the business of gay people.

A campaign against buffet wreckers should be appropriate in the future.  They're sick of gay people?  Well, I'm sick of seeing them.  They ain't shit.

Two Things you can be sure of in Life....
Wherever there's anti-gay work underway, Maggie Gallagher and someone from the Mormon Church are always behind it.

Ironic
These state's rights wingnuts apparently are complete lying hypocrites when it comes to LBGT issues.

Not only that
but in the case of Maine, they know they don't have the support. That's why the plaintive plea to outsiders. Last summer showed their weakness locally.

"It goes on one at a time, it starts when you care to act, it starts when you do it again after they said no, it starts when you say We and know who you mean, and each day you mean one more."

[ Parent ]
How is that ironic?
These people are hypocrites by definition.

Fetch my pearls, I need to clutch them!

[ Parent ]
Don't forget that NOM
was a primary YES on PROP 8 campaign money launderer organization.
