Blend-o-licious endorsements...

The Christian Civic League of Maine's Mike Hein calls Pam's House Blend:
"a leading source of radical homosexual propaganda, anti-Christian bigotry, and radical transgender advocacy."

He is "praying that Pam Spaulding will "turn away from her wicked and sinful promotion of homosexual behavior." (CCLM's web site, 10/15/07)

Ex-gay "Christian" activist James Hartline on Pam:
"I have been mocked over and over again by ungodly and unprincipled anti-christian lesbians."
(from "Six Years In Sodom: From The Journal Of James Hartline," 9/4/2006, written from the "homosexual stronghold" of Hillcrest in San Diego).

"Pam is a 'twisted lesbian sister' and an 'embittered lesbian' of the 'self-imposed gutteral experiences of the gay ghetto.'" -- 9/5/2008

Peter LaBarbera of Americans for Truth Against Homosexuality heartily endorses the Blend, calling Pam:

A "vicious anti-Christian lesbian activist."
(Concerned Women for America's radio show [9:15], 1/25/07)

"A nutty lesbian blogger."
(MassResistance radio show [16:25], 2/3/07)

Pam's House Blend always seems to find these sick f*cks. The area of the country she is in? The home state of her wife? I know, they are everywhere. Pam just does such a great job of bringing them out into the light.

National Organization for Marriage's hired guns for fact-free hate

by: Pam Spaulding

Wed Apr 08, 2009 at 15:00:00 PM EDT

The National Organization for Marriage rounded up some desperate actors for its new anti-gay ad. Watch these awful auditions. I guess generating authenticity for this pack of lies is hard work.

Responses from GLAAD and NGLTF are below the fold.

Pam Spaulding :: National Organization for Marriage's hired guns for fact-free hate
And here is GLAAD's response to the ad:
Today, the anti-gay activist group the National Organization for Marriage began running a television advertisement with misleading, defamatory claims about the effects of marriage for same-sex couples. Please see the ad to the right.

"The distorted, misleading claims of the National Organization for Marriage do one thing and one thing only - perpetuate a climate of hostility and fear that will put committed couples in harm's way," said GLAAD President Neil G. Giuliano. "We stand in support of One Iowa and our partners on the ground and urge our community to speak out against these divisive attacks."

GLAAD is working with and calling on national and local media in states where the ad is schedule to run including New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania and  New Hampshire to expose the misinformation in these ads in order to bring attention to the real intent of the National Organization for Marriage - to exclude same-sex couples and their families from the responsibilities and protections of marriage.

One Iowa needs your support! Please visit their site and review their petition:

Out of State organizations attacking the freedom to marry in Iowa!
The same right-wing organizations who spent millions to pass Prop. 8 in California are now spending their money in Iowa! Sign this petition and send a strong message that Iowans oppose out of state groups from using their money and influence to take away the rights of Iowans!

Statement by Rea Carey, Executive Director of the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force:
"Everything about this television ad is phony - from the actors portraying 'real people' to the malicious, deceitful lies coming out of their mouths to the ridiculous claim they represent a 'rainbow coalition.' This commercial clearly is a sign of desperation. The right wing is scrambling to gain its footing in the face of a shifting landscape and a flurry of victories for equality; new landscape, but same old scare tactics. We believe that fair-minded people are fed up with this divisiveness and will not fall prey to these fear-mongering tactics."

I keep waiting...
...for John Ratzenburger an Victoria Jackson to show up.

I'm only a click away.

Don't quit your day job
And how about Stephen Baldwin...he needs work. LOL, Audition 2 is my favorite. You know the producer said, "Sweetie, the camera doesn't pan so stand still!!!

Audition 15 say's "rainbow collision". Is that because this is really a train wreck?

Sweet Jeebus, this is good stuff
I predict Stephen Colbert, Bill Maher and Jon Stewart are going to come up with some hysterical bits with this material.

These people
are even worse actors than your average professional wrestler.  No wonder NOM's ad looks so much like an Ed Wood movie.

Cynic, n.  A blackguard whose faulty vision sees things as they are, not as they ought to be.
-Bierce, The Devil's Dictionary

NOM Says AD a 'Rousing Success;'..... will be on ANDERSON COOPER!

That ought to be interesting. Someone post what he says!

Would rather Rachel or Keith had them on.

Here from NOM's Brian Brown: Just in case you were wondering how it was going.

Dear Lee,

I wanted you to know that the rollout of our new "Gathering Storm" ad campaign has been an amazing success today!

Already, the exposure has been beyond what we could have expected. In just a few minutes (MSNBC,  7pm ET) NOM President Maggie Gallagher will be on Hardball with Chris Matthews discussing our religious liberty ad campaign.
Later tonight, I'll be on CNN with Anderson Cooper 360 (CNN, 10pm, replays at 1am, 5am ET), where portions of our ad will be played for audiences all across the nation.
And tomorrow morning Maggie will be on the CBS Early Show to share our message with another nationwide audience.
The ad has obviously struck a nerve. Within just a couple of hours after our ad went live, the Human Rights Campaign launched a vicious attack against NOM. HRC Spokesman Brad Luna accused NOM of "claim[ing] one shallow victory after another by telling lies . . . These lies must be called out for what they are every time the right-wing seeks to derail our progress by spreading distortions and inciting fear mongering."
Speaking for NOM, Maggie quickly responded, issuing the following statement:
"HRC's record of truth and honesty about their intentions is not that impressive.  They once said marriage amendments weren't necessary because there were no federal court cases.   Now there is one."

"They called us liars when we said public schools will teach about gay marriage if its the law--but they do in Massachusetts.  Serious religious liberty scholars from Eugene Volokh to Doug Laycock to Robin Wilson acknowledge the central driving idea behind gay marriage--there is no difference between same-sex and opposite sex unions and supporters of marriage are engaging in discrimination if they think differently--will have consequences for the freedoms of traditional faith communities. To pretend otherwise is to be profoundly unserious--if not deceptive--about what gay marriage means."

So now you know... THE REST OF THE STORY.

It's the Hammer of JUSTICE,
It's the Bell of FREEDOM,
It's the Song about LOVE between,
my Brothers and my Sisters
...All over this Land.
