Blend-o-licious endorsements...

The Christian Civic League of Maine's Mike Hein calls Pam's House Blend:
"a leading source of radical homosexual propaganda, anti-Christian bigotry, and radical transgender advocacy."

He is "praying that Pam Spaulding will "turn away from her wicked and sinful promotion of homosexual behavior." (CCLM's web site, 10/15/07)

Ex-gay "Christian" activist James Hartline on Pam:
"I have been mocked over and over again by ungodly and unprincipled anti-christian lesbians."
(from "Six Years In Sodom: From The Journal Of James Hartline," 9/4/2006, written from the "homosexual stronghold" of Hillcrest in San Diego).

"Pam is a 'twisted lesbian sister' and an 'embittered lesbian' of the 'self-imposed gutteral experiences of the gay ghetto.'" -- 9/5/2008

Peter LaBarbera of Americans for Truth Against Homosexuality heartily endorses the Blend, calling Pam:

A "vicious anti-Christian lesbian activist."
(Concerned Women for America's radio show [9:15], 1/25/07)

"A nutty lesbian blogger."
(MassResistance radio show [16:25], 2/3/07)

Pam's House Blend always seems to find these sick f*cks. The area of the country she is in? The home state of her wife? I know, they are everywhere. Pam just does such a great job of bringing them out into the light.

Al Franken Wins- Again

by: Louise

Tue Apr 14, 2009 at 12:00:00 PM EDT

Well, sort of. Norm Coleman apprently plans to continue appealing for the next four years, from the looks of things!

From AP:

ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) - A Minnesota court confirmed Monday that Democrat Al Franken won the most votes in his 2008 Senate race against Republican Norm Coleman, who immediately announced plans to appeal the decision.

Coleman has 10 days to appeal to the state Supreme Court. Once the petition is filed, it could further delay the seating of Minnesota's second senator for weeks.

Coleman's trial began in January and his appeal could push the race into May or beyond.

Coleman's lawyers have said their appeal will mostly center on violations of the constitutional guarantee of equal protection, arguing that counties had differing standards in treating absentee ballots.

In addition to the appeal, Coleman can also initiate a new action on a federal level. Either side can appeal an eventual state Supreme Court decision to the U.S. Supreme Court or throw the disputed election before the U.S. Senate, which can judge the qualifications of its members.

Louise :: Al Franken Wins- Again
Dude- you LOST. Get over it.

Someone explain to me why there has not yet been a citizen's initiative suit against Norm Coleman?

I would think there would be a fair case to be made here, as his repeated attempts to block Franken's being seated in the Senate is leaving Minnesota under-represented.

But then again, looking at who else is among MN's Congressional delegation, I dunno...

A Puppet of the Party
I wouldn't be a bit surprised if Norm Coleman, knowing that he lost, knowing that he'll never be able to prove otherwise, wanted out of the race a long time ago.  But the longer this goes on, that's one fewer vote in the "D" column as important legislation is voted on.

I blame the GOP leadership for dragging this on, and on, and on.  They (not Norm Coleman, the individual) are the only ones with anything to gain by the indecision.

We can only hope...
...that going forward the courts award Franken costs from Coleman's coffers.

Typical GOP hypocrisy.
When Prop. H8 passed last year, the wingnuts said that the majority already voted for it.  We could say the same thing about both Barack Obama and Al Franken.  The majority had voted for these two and the GOP is still whining about it, so much that they would hold their little tea putsch.

Maybe we need the MINNESOTA Supreme Court...
to rule on PROP H8... our poor little judges seem so confused by the whole thing.

Nope - with the help of the anti-America wing of the Senate (Cornyn, et. al.) he plans to continue appealing until Jan. 3, 2015.

When the Minnesota Supreme Court rules against him, he and his federal-court-hating friends will take the fraudulent fight to the federal courts.

And when he loses there, don't be surprised if he tries to take it to the U.N.

I don't know how they'd do it or what the jurisdictional argument would be, but they will destroy government as we know it before they allow Al Franken to take his rightfully-earned seat.

Yes.
Brain freeze- thanks, KatRose!

Minnesota--just half a state
the other half held hostage by the GOP

I hope the senate just goes ahead,
and make a statement, We are going to preform all our votes by reconciliation which will mean we only need 51 votes to pass legislation because Sen. Franken can not be seated as the republicans continue to force Mr. Colman to continue litigation of the Minnesota Election.

Some thing to that effect.  And then if the republicans decide to stop litigating and concede the election to Sen. Franken, keep the 51 vote rule in effect for saving time and money because we believe the republicans have filibustered enough already.

If I make sense? it was quite by accident.

Can They do That?

I think..
...they should just give it Coleman.

How can you deny it to someone who wants it so much?
