Blend-o-licious endorsements...

The Christian Civic League of Maine's Mike Hein calls Pam's House Blend:
"a leading source of radical homosexual propaganda, anti-Christian bigotry, and radical transgender advocacy."

He is "praying that Pam Spaulding will "turn away from her wicked and sinful promotion of homosexual behavior." (CCLM's web site, 10/15/07)

Ex-gay "Christian" activist James Hartline on Pam:
"I have been mocked over and over again by ungodly and unprincipled anti-christian lesbians."
(from "Six Years In Sodom: From The Journal Of James Hartline," 9/4/2006, written from the "homosexual stronghold" of Hillcrest in San Diego).

"Pam is a 'twisted lesbian sister' and an 'embittered lesbian' of the 'self-imposed gutteral experiences of the gay ghetto.'" -- 9/5/2008

Peter LaBarbera of Americans for Truth Against Homosexuality heartily endorses the Blend, calling Pam:

A "vicious anti-Christian lesbian activist."
(Concerned Women for America's radio show [9:15], 1/25/07)

"A nutty lesbian blogger."
(MassResistance radio show [16:25], 2/3/07)

Pam's House Blend always seems to find these sick f*cks. The area of the country she is in? The home state of her wife? I know, they are everywhere. Pam just does such a great job of bringing them out into the light.

NC: Ted Haggard headliner at Charlotte church service

by: Pam Spaulding

Sat Apr 25, 2009 at 09:00:00 AM EDT

I wonder if Ted gets a cut from the collection plate for sharing his revised story about his homosexuality commitment to his heterosexual marriage. (QNotes):
Once revered as the leader of the national evangelical movement, former Colorado Springs, Colo. pastor Ted Haggard will speak this Sunday, April 26 with his wife Gayle at worship services of Elevation Church. The appearance will mark the first time the wildly popular church has publicly dealt with the issue of homosexuality.

Young pastor Steven Furtick said on his blog that Haggard's appearance would be a chance for "the story of the deception of sin and the forgiveness of God speak for itself" and to "serve as a salient reminder of the devastating results of disobedience, and hopefully, the beginning of a personal healing process for many hurting people."

Furtick invited Haggard as a part of the church's "Healing" series. Elevation Church has many congregants who openly identify as gay or lesbian.Ch

STORY UPDATED
I just updated the story at Q-Notes.com. I was able to attend the 8:30 a.m. worship service at which the Haggards appeared.

From the story:

Haggard's appearance was a part of the church's "Healing" series. Furtick said the "real hero" of the story was Gayle Haggard and praised her for standing by her husband, asking her how she was able to do it.

"I first heard the news of this along with everyone else," Gayle Haggard said. "It was a very shocking moment in my life. I had to determine, who am I going to be in this?"

She said that while her "heart was broken" she also knew that she had "gotten through every difficulty in my life with the strength of the Scripture and the Holy Spirit."

She added, "God said to forgive and to love. Those are his instructions always to us when we ahve been hurt and offended."

Be sure to read the whole updated story for comments from Ted Haggard and Elevation Church's pastor Steven Furtick.

Elevation Church?
So then, does everybody there wear lifts in his shoes?  Or maybe, do they worship St. Otis?  Inquiring minds want to know.

I am not interested in picking up crumbs of compassion thrown from the table of someone who considers himself my master. I want the full menu of rights.  -Archbishop Desmond Tutu

This is stunning
Furtick's statements and interview with the Haggards are sure to be a disappointment to Elevation's many openly gay and lesbian congregants - some of whom have told Q-Notes they started attending the church because of the acceptance and welcome they felt there.

This is so insulting.

I mean I understand that this is the South but I simply could not go to that church anymore.

honorarium is customary.
Pam, in answer to your perhaps rhetorical question, it is customary to give clergy an honorarium when they do anything outside their usual routine.  So yes, Ted likely was paid to perform this ex act. ;)

Yeah, yeah, let's cut to the chase, please....
Did old Ted get specific about what sorts of homo goings-on "elevate" him the most?
