Miss California pageant officials are looking into whether Prejean has violated the terms of her contract and should be subsequently stripped of her title.

Pageant spokesman Roger Neal said Tuesday it appears Prejean has violated the 12-page contract all prospective contestants were required to sign before competing in the November state contest. The contract prohibits Miss California from making personal appearances, giving interviews or making commercials without permission from pageant officials. In the last 10 days, Prejean has made televised appearances at her San Diego church and on behalf of the National Organization for Marriage, a group opposed to same-sex marriage.

The contact also contains a clause asking participants to say whether they have conducted themselves "in accordance with the highest ethical and moral standards." As an example, it asks if they have ever been photographed nude or partially nude.

Cries of, "I'm being PERSECUTED for my RELIGION!" in 3...2...1...

Then why isn't someone being sued for child pornography?  And that would include her for posing.  If they can (and they have) prosecute ordinary girls for sending their nudie shots via their cell phones as disseminating pornography, then she seems to be in a lot of trouble.

She purportedly let an agent talk her into posing topless as part of an attempt to land a Victoria's Secret modeling gig.

The pageant association frowns on that sort of thing. In fact, they address it specifically in the contract all contestants have to sign. Seems Tiara Spice made a boo boo in failing to disclose something that should have disqualified her.

Lying, violating terms of her contract, immodesty...such good christian values. Bless her heart.

I Can't Answer

for Onthesea, but I can speculate that it may be because Miss Jugs (or her handlers) may be trying to deliberately muddy the waters in an attempt to keep the photos off the MSM. News organizations were told that she was 17 when the photos were taken and because of that, most have not shown the photo that has been made public. However, several people who know Carrie and have seen all of the photos think that they were taken after she had her...um...little surgery. If so, then they would have been taken just a couple of months ago which means the MSM might decide to show them, giving them a much wider audience. Just a theory, but one I've seen going around the web.

If we can believe Miss Jugs4Jesus and she really did pose for those pics when she was a minor...and if the rest of the pics are even more "racy" than the one above, then shouldn't the cops be arresting the photographer for child pornography? I can't see any reputable photographer risking his/her career and freedom for that. Did Miss Jugs lie about this too?

that the Vanessa Williams photos had a fair bit of teh gay.  Conservatives who claim to be devout Christians usually have to yell loud and hard about their piety just so the rest of us have a way to know that they are Christians.  You'd never know it by how they act or treat other people.

right on brother.  so take that message to everyone in your church who is convinced that they are god, standing in judgement of others.  or to miss J4J.  that message certainly doesn't belong here--in case you didn't notice, we're already on top of chastizing carrie for being judgmental to the gay community.

I don't understand

why Carrie is complaining. I don't agree with namecalling from either side.  But it is fair to question her about her "biblically correct" standard in regards to  her soft porn pix and breast implants.

She wanted the press and jumped into the battle, so she should be able to deal with incoming fire.

But since she is perfect and biblically correct in every way she just gets to judge us.

Maybe it's time for us to encourage the officials at Miss California USA to study that 12 page document a little bit harder. They might just find a clause in there about a winner not becoming a spokesperson for a group like NOM while wearing their sparkly tiara just a little bit faster.  Instead of hoping for this to all blow over and allowing their little princess continued access to the national stage to spread bigotry.
