Blend-o-licious endorsements...

The Christian Civic League of Maine's Mike Hein calls Pam's House Blend:
"a leading source of radical homosexual propaganda, anti-Christian bigotry, and radical transgender advocacy."

He is "praying that Pam Spaulding will "turn away from her wicked and sinful promotion of homosexual behavior." (CCLM's web site, 10/15/07)

Ex-gay "Christian" activist James Hartline on Pam:
"I have been mocked over and over again by ungodly and unprincipled anti-christian lesbians."
(from "Six Years In Sodom: From The Journal Of James Hartline," 9/4/2006, written from the "homosexual stronghold" of Hillcrest in San Diego).

"Pam is a 'twisted lesbian sister' and an 'embittered lesbian' of the 'self-imposed gutteral experiences of the gay ghetto.'" -- 9/5/2008

Peter LaBarbera of Americans for Truth Against Homosexuality heartily endorses the Blend, calling Pam:

A "vicious anti-Christian lesbian activist."
(Concerned Women for America's radio show [9:15], 1/25/07)

"A nutty lesbian blogger."
(MassResistance radio show [16:25], 2/3/07)

Pam's House Blend always seems to find these sick f*cks. The area of the country she is in? The home state of her wife? I know, they are everywhere. Pam just does such a great job of bringing them out into the light.

Gingrich: "I Shouldn't Have Called Sotomayor A Racist"

by: Louise

Wed Jun 03, 2009 at 12:30:00 PM EDT

Update: Here is Limbaugh's pseudo retraction.

Ya think, Newt?

But it still strikes me as a classic "sorry of YOU were offended" sort of retraction, so popular with the GOP...

On Wednesday, Gingrich penned a lengthy op-ed in conservative Human Events that seemed to back away from his initial reaction.

"Shortly after President Obama nominated her to a lifetime appointment to the Supreme Court, I read Judge Sonia Sotomayor's now famous words: 'I would hope that a wise Latina woman with the richness of her experiences would more often than not reach a better conclusion than a white male who hasn't lived that life,'" he wrote.

"My initial reaction was strong and direct - perhaps too strong and too direct. The sentiment struck me as racist and I said so. Since then, some who want to have an open and honest consideration of Judge Sotomayor's fitness to serve on the nation's highest court have been critical of my word choice.

"With these critics who want to have an honest conversation, I agree. The word 'racist' should not have been applied to Judge Sotomayor as a person, even if her words themselves are unacceptable (a fact which both President Obama and his Press Secretary, Robert Gibbs, have since admitted)."

Rep. Jeff Sessions was quick to give Newt an "atta-boy" :

"I'm very glad he backed off. I think that's unusual, that commentators do that, and I think it was very good that he did," said Sessions. "I think that will help - help us. I think that will help us have a real good discussion about the serious issues that the nation faces and that the court faces. And there's some disagreements about that."

One does wonder what King Rush's reaction to Newt's "retraction" will be?

How about Glenn Beck? Ann Coulter? Tucker Carlson? Uncle Pat Buchanan? Lou Dobbs?

This outta be fun. Anyone got popcorn?

Rush
Rush Limbaugh is basically saying that Newt apologized for using the word "racist," but didn't apologize for the sentiment.  Rush was commenting something about Newt not having enough spine to stand up and say what needed to be said bla bla blah.

So he is now attacking Newt?
Okay, I see this now: the GOP is cleaning up its act so squeaky clean Mitt Romney can win nod in 2012.

"It goes on one at a time, it starts when you care to act, it starts when you do it again after they said no, it starts when you say We and know who you mean, and each day you mean one more."

Breaking: Retraction from RUSH LIMBAUGH!
Quote on his radio show: "I can see a possibility of supporting this nomination"

Hell has frozen over- film at 11!

Got this from MSNBC just a minute ago; nothing on the net- YET. Andrea Mitchell breaking the story and played a clip of Rush actually saying it.

"It goes on one at a time, it starts when you care to act, it starts when you do it again after they said no, it starts when you say We and know who you mean, and each day you mean one more."

Story here from Politico
No doubt clips will available later- I listened to some of his blathering before 2pm and he pretty much went back to calling her a reverse racist...
