Blend-o-licious endorsements...

The Christian Civic League of Maine's Mike Hein calls Pam's House Blend:
"a leading source of radical homosexual propaganda, anti-Christian bigotry, and radical transgender advocacy."

He is "praying that Pam Spaulding will "turn away from her wicked and sinful promotion of homosexual behavior." (CCLM's web site, 10/15/07)

Ex-gay "Christian" activist James Hartline on Pam:
"I have been mocked over and over again by ungodly and unprincipled anti-christian lesbians."
(from "Six Years In Sodom: From The Journal Of James Hartline," 9/4/2006, written from the "homosexual stronghold" of Hillcrest in San Diego).

"Pam is a 'twisted lesbian sister' and an 'embittered lesbian' of the 'self-imposed gutteral experiences of the gay ghetto.'" -- 9/5/2008

Peter LaBarbera of Americans for Truth Against Homosexuality heartily endorses the Blend, calling Pam:

A "vicious anti-Christian lesbian activist."
(Concerned Women for America's radio show [9:15], 1/25/07)

"A nutty lesbian blogger."
(MassResistance radio show [16:25], 2/3/07)

Pam's House Blend always seems to find these sick f*cks. The area of the country she is in? The home state of her wife? I know, they are everywhere. Pam just does such a great job of bringing them out into the light.

Anyone else here heard about the New American Independent Party?

by: TruthandLove

I think I have found myself a new political party, for someone who is a moderate liberal, and who remembers the somewhat seedy history of the Democratic party when it was more right than left and still doesn't trust them, who was a registgered Republican probably because my family was, until they got wayyyyyyyy too scary over a decade ago and who is now a Libertarian because who else was fighting for our actual freedoms even if they have some real Kooks there. Anyway I think I may have found a party that I could actually believe in a big part of their platform.

You could check them out at:

New American Independent Party

Here are thier issues pages:

Part I

Part II Includes platforms on seperation of church and state, LGBT issues, and yes that includes transgender issues! DADT, DOMA and immigration issues

Thanks for the heads up
I'll definitely check it out. I'm so sick of the Dems' pro-LGBT during election cycle stance and anti-LGBT after the election flip-flops.

Screw them!!

P.S.
Breath, TruthandLove, Breath!! Were you also trying to tell us that this new party also advocates for run-on sentences? I thought you pass out with that first one! Just kidding :-)

Close the GayTM. Only give to candidates who have actually done something other than make promises - most are just pandering for our cash.

LOL
I was trying to hurry and write, the phone started ringing...LOL

The border-militarization plank
and the vaguely Minutemen-esque repeated references to denying basic survival services for "illegal foreign nationals" would be enough for me to avoid them.  It doesn't help that their version of "fair trade" is all about protectionism and not at all interested in supporting workers' rights and opposing poverty and authoritarianism abroad.  The principle of lowering corporate taxes whenever possible is also worrisome -- it's one of the preferred excuses for cutting necessary programs.  Their approach to racism also seems to be "use 'empowering' language, ban affirmative action, and assume that that's all we need to do" -- much closer to the current Republican Party line than to just about anything else.

M, at first glance the boarder issues looked like that to me too
and it troubled me.  I have emailed for a better understanding because part of what they say is reasonable at second glance, it seemed like they want to make it easier to legally immigrate here, but at the same time tighten boarder control for those who for whatever reason don't go through legal channels.

It would depend on what their ideas on making it easier are and for whom.

As for ending racism, I believe we have to hit the institutionalized form and hit it hard, some individuals will always be racist, but the legal system, zoning laws, lending and real estate practices are what really keep  segregation alive and hope low, less so the individual bigot.

And maybe I should have said, I agree with way more than I disagree with.

Just too many things
went back to them damned illegals. Gay rights? Sure, they pay taxes, but not them damned illegals. DADT? Sure, they can serve, but not them damned illegals. National security? Watch out for them damned illegals.

A club that starts out marginalizing one group often reverts to marginalizing others. Not too big a step from them damned illegals to them damned homasekshuls, at least not for most of the people who live to hate on them damned illegals.

Cause any fool knows, a dog needs a home; a shelter from pigs on the wing

Oh, great, they're pro-gun and anti-illegals
Looks to me like what they do want to do is attract some Republican-Libertarians/State-righters, who may be thinking of leaving the Republican Party now. And potentially pick up some Independents and righter-wing of Democratic Party. that's just my impression from perusing this...
