Blend-o-licious endorsements...

The Christian Civic League of Maine's Mike Hein calls Pam's House Blend:
"a leading source of radical homosexual propaganda, anti-Christian bigotry, and radical transgender advocacy."

He is "praying that Pam Spaulding will "turn away from her wicked and sinful promotion of homosexual behavior." (CCLM's web site, 10/15/07)

Ex-gay "Christian" activist James Hartline on Pam:
"I have been mocked over and over again by ungodly and unprincipled anti-christian lesbians."
(from "Six Years In Sodom: From The Journal Of James Hartline," 9/4/2006, written from the "homosexual stronghold" of Hillcrest in San Diego).

"Pam is a 'twisted lesbian sister' and an 'embittered lesbian' of the 'self-imposed gutteral experiences of the gay ghetto.'" -- 9/5/2008

Peter LaBarbera of Americans for Truth Against Homosexuality heartily endorses the Blend, calling Pam:

A "vicious anti-Christian lesbian activist."
(Concerned Women for America's radio show [9:15], 1/25/07)

"A nutty lesbian blogger."
(MassResistance radio show [16:25], 2/3/07)

Pam's House Blend always seems to find these sick f*cks. The area of the country she is in? The home state of her wife? I know, they are everywhere. Pam just does such a great job of bringing them out into the light.

Spin Cyle II: Family Research Council says Taxpayers to Subsidize Same-Sex Marriage

by: JohnVisser

Wed Jul 08, 2009 at 19:01:43 PM EDT

A press release from the Family Research Council and the honorable and truthful Tony Perkins spins today's Massachusetts State lawsuit against DOMA. Here's a snippet:

Massachusetts Seeks to Force Federal Taxpayers to Subsidize Same-Sex 'Marriage'

"American taxpayers should hold onto their wallets. Should this lawsuit succeed and President Obama's health care reform pass without an explicit ban on tax funded abortions - taxpayers face the very real possibility of being forced to subsidize both same-sex 'marriages' and abortion coverage within a universal health care plan."

Considering the reality of the situation here's how I will spin it:

Massachusetts Seeks to Force an End to LGBT Taxpayers Subsidizing Opposite 'Marriage'

Thank you, Mr. Obama for your Department of "Justice"
That DOMA brief is going to come back at us for at least the duration of Obama's one-term presidency.

Yo, Tony Perkins: Until same-sex marriages are 'subsidized'
to a larger extent than christianist business enterprises - sometimes referred to as churches - are, shut up and stay in the Bates Motel.

>^..^<

And yet, different-sex marriages are heavily subsidized at all levels of government
Different-sex marriages get tax-breaks. They are entitled disability and other social welfare benefits based on a combined income, not to mention federal pension and survivor benefits. And then we get into all of the perqs of being in a different-sex marriage to a member of the US Armed Services or state National Guard, the diplomatic corps, local, state and federal governments... the list is pretty extensive.

And yet it is shriek-worthy when same-sex couples might be able to receive these very same subsidies?

Perkins needs to be shut down
Permanently.  Until folks in the U.S. are radically awoken to the fact that their Gawd is a fake and the bible nothing but fallacy, they will never see the world in any other way.  These sheeple don't want to think for themselves and then they let people like Perkins speak for them.  Our only duty is to counter his arguments with logic and science and never wander into their mythological delusion.

The Citizens of each State shall be entitled to all Privileges and Immunities of Citizens in the several States. - The U.S. Constitution Article IV.Section. 2. Clause 1

He needs to read this
report from the Congressional Budget Office, ordered by a GOP House homobigot in 2004 but hidden under a rock.

Same sex marriage would actually improve the Federal budget.

Same-Sex Marriage is good for the economy.

I don't want to see him shut down.
I want to see him OUTED.  Very few public figures set off my gaydar as loudly as Tony Perkins.  (Well, maybe Lindsey Graham.)  There has to be a Mike Jones somewhere who's fed up with this crap and will blow the whistle on this guy.  The Christian loonies are still recovering from the damage done when Ted Haggard got caught with his evangelical pants down.  More would be too damn delicious.  The whistle blows...and the angels sing!

The American people, taking one with another, are the most timorous, sniveling, poltroonish, ignominious mob of serfs and goose-steppers ever gathered under one flag in Christendom since the end of the Middle Ages.
-H.L. Mencken

Mutually exclusive
Evidently, according to the logic (?) of Family Research Council, "American taxpayers" and people in the United States who enter into same-sex marriages are mutually exclusive, non-overlapping groups. If that's the case, since I'm in a same-sex marriage, that must mean that I am either not American or not a taxpayer. If the latter, I want a refund of all the taxes I've paid during my entire life.

Excellent job, JohnV
Beautifully spun indeed.

Opposite marriages cost employers so much in insurance premiums and benefits as well- one wonders why there isn't a push to ban marriage altogether!

And that Family-Medical Leave Act... look at all the waste and damage to employers done by that one. All families should be dissolved, as a measure to help the economy.

Don't get me started on Social Security and these wasteful "survivor benefits"...

You're too funny!!
Hey - I made a donation to Equality Maine today. Now that we know the bas-turds have the signatures it's all out war. I also put my name on the-of-state volunteer list.

If there is anything I can help with you know how to reach me.

Close the GayTM. Only give to candidates who have actually done something other than make promises - most are just pandering for our cash.

Thank you! :)
For the nice words and more importantly, the donation and offer to help!

I don't know where Tony finds the energy
There's all those robes and pointy hoods to bleach to pristine white, there's Black children wanting to swim in white folk's pools, and Jena hasn't had one noose hung on a school tree in so long, I can't recall.

But he does keep me occupied sewing hundreds of Voudon dolls with red hair.

What have you done today, to make ya feel PROUD?

~Heather Small

Wasn't it Ned Flanders
who said that red hair was from the Devil?

No, I think it was curly hair...

Okely-dokely, Tony!

[ Parent ]
why not another subsidy?
After all, we had the taxpayers subsidizing Gov. Sanford's Official Trips to Study the Tango Situation, and who knows what tax subsidy paid for Sen. Ensign (R-Las Vegas) and his Acts of Congress to the tune of $96,000 (as remarked on another thread on this august site).

It's a metaphor for government. After all, it was Harry Truman who compared the presidency to being the piano player in a whorehouse.

And he [Pres. Chester Alan Arthur] kept a whore on the premises! In Missouri that's what we call 'a widower with means!'
-- "Harry Truman," the play

How many taxpayer funded abortions do same sex couples have anyway?
Not scientific, but a quick poll of all my same sex couples said none

I think they need to fine tune the "put scary words together and frighten them out of cash" letter generator or something

Why shouldn't taxpayers subsidize our marriages?
We've been subsidizing theirs for forever!
