Blend-o-licious endorsements...

The Christian Civic League of Maine's Mike Hein calls Pam's House Blend:
"a leading source of radical homosexual propaganda, anti-Christian bigotry, and radical transgender advocacy."

He is "praying that Pam Spaulding will "turn away from her wicked and sinful promotion of homosexual behavior." (CCLM's web site, 10/15/07)

Ex-gay "Christian" activist James Hartline on Pam:
"I have been mocked over and over again by ungodly and unprincipled anti-christian lesbians."
(from "Six Years In Sodom: From The Journal Of James Hartline," 9/4/2006, written from the "homosexual stronghold" of Hillcrest in San Diego).

"Pam is a 'twisted lesbian sister' and an 'embittered lesbian' of the 'self-imposed gutteral experiences of the gay ghetto.'" -- 9/5/2008

Peter LaBarbera of Americans for Truth Against Homosexuality heartily endorses the Blend, calling Pam:

A "vicious anti-Christian lesbian activist."
(Concerned Women for America's radio show [9:15], 1/25/07)

"A nutty lesbian blogger."
(MassResistance radio show [16:25], 2/3/07)

Pam's House Blend always seems to find these sick f*cks. The area of the country she is in? The home state of her wife? I know, they are everywhere. Pam just does such a great job of bringing them out into the light.

(As Jeremy Hooper asks, Where's the teacher!? Where's the "working waitress"?

This will not fly well with the natives...   - promoted by Louise)

From Louise: Other bloggers' diaries on the ad- check out comments!

Irony- S4MM haz it!!
Someone should call up Boston College's chancellor and get an official reaction to their college's name being used as a legitimacy tool for this crap.

Or call Boston.com, Bay Windows, EdgeBoston or Cape Cod Times for same...

Massachusetts just got dragged into the S4MM/Yes On 1 column, entirely against their knowledge or will.

And S4MM keeps harping on WHO dragging "people from away"/ out-of-staters into Maine's discussion???

Not a single Maine person in it. OMFG.

Homosexual marriage taught in schools - the case cited to push the lie
The David Parker lie again! (Parker vs. Hurley) The case had nothing to do with marriage equality - it had to do with schools not putting heterosexual-led families on a pedestal above same-sex families. The anti-gay forces tried to link it with marriage equality but it had nothing to do with it:

Small print on screen for 2 seconds - average reading level 7th grade.

Liklihood of any average viewer getting to the 3rd line of the CG?

This just demands to be shared with every media outlet in Massachusetts.

(especially since SSM is legal in the Bay State)

Question:  What does an atheist do when they fall to the floor and start "speaking in tongues"?

Answer: Get a CAT scan.

And the only time the lawyer smiles is

over the CG that says "the volume of litigation will be immense."  LOL  Who edits this crap anyway?

Question:  What does an atheist do when they fall to the floor and start "speaking in tongues"?

Answer: Get a CAT scan.

From a Boston College student
We'll get no response from Dean Garvey
Based on some of his writings, he'll endorse the appearance. He's a VERY strong catholic, and believes that his church should be exempted from having to follow basic anti-discrimination laws.

Garvey blames gays for Catholic Charities stopping adoption

Yay, religion. Pissing in other people's corn flakes since forever.

another yes on 1 ad
there is another yes on 1 ad on youtube. looks like an Exodus thing. an X-lesbian (yeah right) explaining the ins & outs of same sex marriage.
both these ads are pretty lame, IMO. they harp on kids doing well with male female parents. with 50% divorce rate my guess is there are more single parents than the "normal" "it's a wonderful life" het couple with 2 kids.
and darn right the catholic church should be investigated for illegal political contributions. actually i'm surprised they didnt loose tax-exempt status over the criminal child molestation convictions.
the BOS ad sounds like cry-babies to me. I dont think Mainers take kindly to boston cry babies.

Fitzgibbon is no stranger to opposing
same-sex marriage.  He has been preaching against same-sex marriage across the country from Massachusetts to California.  He also provided testimony in 2005 to the US Senate Committee on the Judiciary in support of the Federal Marriage Amendment http://judiciary.senate.gov/he...  It's the same old fear tactic arguments used by NARTH, NOM, and the like.

He's also made considerable campaign donations http://www.newsmeat.com/fec/by...

Just received an email from Ron Prentice ...
The good news is that the Yes on Question 1 campaign is mounting a strong defense of traditional marriage. In fact, they have retained the same consulting firm - Schubert Flint Public Affairs - that worked with ProtectMarriage.com to pass Proposition 8 in California. The Stand For Marriage Maine committee has the strong support of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Portland (which covers the entire state of Maine), the evangelical community, local LDS activists and others across the state. National groups including the National Organization for Marriage, Family Research Council Action and Focus on the Family are making Maine a priority.
