The Christian Civic League of Maine's Mike Hein calls Pam's House Blend:
"a leading source of radical homosexual propaganda, anti-Christian bigotry, and radical transgender advocacy."

He is "praying that Pam Spaulding will "turn away from her wicked and sinful promotion of homosexual behavior." (CCLM's web site, 10/15/07)

Ex-gay "Christian" activist James Hartline on Pam:
"I have been mocked over and over again by ungodly and unprincipled anti-christian lesbians."
(from "Six Years In Sodom: From The Journal Of James Hartline," 9/4/2006, written from the "homosexual stronghold" of Hillcrest in San Diego).

"Pam is a 'twisted lesbian sister' and an 'embittered lesbian' of the 'self-imposed gutteral experiences of the gay ghetto.'" -- 9/5/2008

Peter LaBarbera of Americans for Truth Against Homosexuality heartily endorses the Blend, calling Pam:

A "vicious anti-Christian lesbian activist."
(Concerned Women for America's radio show [9:15], 1/25/07)

"A nutty lesbian blogger."
(MassResistance radio show [16:25], 2/3/07)

Pam's House Blend always seems to find these sick f*cks. The area of the country she is in? The home state of her wife? I know, they are everywhere. Pam just does such a great job of bringing them out into the light.

Conservatives for Truth to Tony Perkins: Mitt Romney isn't anti-gay enough

by: Pam Spaulding

Sat Sep 19, 2009 at 04:28:57 AM EDT

Want to see an hilarious news release announcing this ad hoc group that thinks Family Research Council's Tony Perkins isn't telling truth? Well, we all know if the "pro-family" leader's lips are moving that lies are spilling out, but "Conservatives For Truth" thinks the head of the this weekend's Values Voter Summit, which invited and landed failed presidential candidate Mitt Romney to the shindig, is committing a grievous error. The "pro-homosexual" Mittster's bowing and scraping before the fundies clearly hasn't convinced true believers he's worthy of the seal of approval.

This weekend, leading Christian pro-family advocacy organization Family Research Council (FRC) will feature former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney as one of its featured speakers at its "Value Voters Summit." www.valuesvotersummit.org Despite Romney's unbiblical and far left-wing record as Massachusetts governor on the issues FRC claims to care the most about, FRC President Tony Perkins continues to refer to Romney as a "friend of the pro-family movement."

That's why we have authored the website www.tonyperkinstellthetruth.blogspot.com, because we believe someone claiming to stand for biblical teaching, as Mr. Perkins claims to, should have the integrity to tell the truth about the candidates he's providing a platform to reach Christian voters.

...CNS.com reported on August 25th, 2008, that before the Massachusetts legislature had even had a chance to pass a law legalizing homosexual marriages (which they never did), Governor Romney unilaterally and unconstitutionally authorized the illegal alterations to and issuance of marriage licenses to homosexual couples, and even went so far as to demand that justices of the peace who wouldn't perform homosexual "marriages" for moral reasons, resign. www.cnsnews.com/news/article/34561

We would like to ask Mr. Perkins if CNS.com is lying, and if it isn't, does that sound like the actions of a, "friend of the pro-family movement?"

Please tell the truth, Mr. Perkins.

Even after the GOP Clown Car tossed him out in 2008, Mitt hasn't realized that he will never be able to 1) overcome his flip-flopping, back-double-twist political gymnastics and 2) convince "Christians" that as a Mormon, he's "one of them."

Romney not Anti-Gay enough?
There are two sides to this question.  I believe Romney is more pro-family than anti-gay.  Gay people deserve human rights (because they are human), but not their own set of rights.

Mitt has been pretty clear that "gay marriage" should not be classified as marriage.

Personally, I don't believe anyone should be "anti-gay", even if I also believe they should stay in the closet, as there is a reason such things are done in a closet...  And acting on gay instincts is wrong.

We should be tolerant, not because they are gay, but because they are people.

Meanwhile, they should not force sexual orientation down the throat of society.  They should not try to dig responses that fit their own version of tolerance out of young women running for Miss America.  (God bless Miss Prejean, a leader in tolerance, God's way.)

Romney is a thinking person.  He knows there is no good reason to keep gay people from having hospital visitation rights, but he also recognizes the threat their moral agency and screwed up values, pushed on society, are to the base of society.

We are all going to have to live in the same world until God declares Sodom and Gomorrah II or we die.  There ought to be some ground rules both ways.

That's all I have to say.

Romney stands exactly where he should.

I still remember watching Mitt on the same Liberty Sunday DVD ...
... with Wellington Boone, who waxed nostalgic for the good ol' Bible days when (he claimed) homosexuality was punishable by death.

A thinking person would probably have had second thoughts about associating one's self with such a character and such an event.

I suspect Mitt was thinking he was doing what he had to in order to get elected.

Thinking?  Maybe.  Pro-family?  Hardly.

Bigotry dressed up as a call for tolerance is lipstick on a pig
Meanwhile, they should not force sexual orientation down the throat of society.

I agree. Any sane person, looking rationally at our society, could only conclude that heterosexuality is being shoved down everyone’s throats, and it must stop.

Take the furor over “teaching homosexuality in the classroom” as an example: it is perfectly acceptable to bombard children with images of heterosexual people and families, but fail to airbrush LGBT folk from your teaching material and presto, instant furor. Are you ready to call for the same guidelines to apply to both homosexual and heterosexual examples? If no reading materials may feature LGBT people or same-sex couples, then no reading materials may feature straight, gender normative people or opposite-sex couples?

… he also recognizes the threat [gay people’] moral agency and screwed up values, pushed on society, are to the base of society.

You don’t even know me, and you are claiming that I have “screwed up” values? Can you name one of my screwed-up values?

This kind of prejudice is not tolerance. It is a staggering display of bigotry. If you are serious about wanting to peacefully share a world, I suggest that you re-examine your values posthaste.

And on TV--opposite sex couples KISSING!
I have nothing against heterosexuals, some of my best friends are hets.  But all of this opposite sex couple sex and marriage is just WRONG! And it is our schools too.

Spin the Bigotry Wheel and Win a Prize
See what fun we can have with a bigot's words?

Personally, I don't believe anyone should be "anti-MORMON", even if I also believe MORMONS should stay in the closet, as there is a reason such things are done in a closet...  AND FOLLOWING THE CULT of JOSEPH SMITH is wrong.

We should be tolerant, not because they are HERETICS AND BLASHPHEMERS, but because they are people.

Meanwhile, they should not force FALSE RELIGIOUS BELIEFS down the throat of society.  They should not try to dig responses that fit their own version of tolerance out of young women running for Miss America.  (God bless Miss Prejean, a leader in tolerance, God's way.)

...He knows there is no good reason to keep MORMONS from having hospital visitation rights, but he also recognizes the threat their moral agency and screwed up values, pushed on society, are to the base of society.

That was FUN!

Oh, and Captain Nimrod, Carrie "Fake Tits" Prejean was competing for Miss USA, not Miss America.

Romney, thinking?
HAH! A person with an ounce of thinking and reasoning ability will realize that bigotry is bigotry is bigotry -- no matter whom it's against or the pathetic justification.

Mormons should be some of our staunchest allies, thanks to the hate and bigotry leveled at their faith in the 1800's, but nooooooooooo... they acted just like their oppressors when they established their theocracy in Utah. Just like the way the Pilgrims and Puritans oppressed other faiths once they were released from the yoke of oppression when they left England.

JMM, you can't imagine the prejudice we in the TLBG face each and every day. If you did, you wouldn't post the ingorant things you've already posted.

Be fair! Mormons oppressed Black Americans before we got our turn
also, they redefined some dogma to attack certain Indian tribes that did not follow the Brigham Young agenda as well. And they massacred more than a few groups of 'gentiles' and worked very hard to drive the Catholic Irish, already in Utah when they arrived, out of the territory.

Huh??
Okay, first off I agree about "special rights." All marriage should be abolished, heterosexual marriage is a special right, not granted to everyone.

Are you married? Do you have children? Well according to the first Christians you are wrong, all sex is wrong in God's eyes and no one should procreate (because Jesus will return any day and the earth/humanity will end. Any day now....).

You say,

That's all I have to say.

and than say, "Romney stands exactly where he should."

Think about it a little and than go back to your closet.

That's all I have to say.

Stop attacking thinking people everywhere

Romney is a thinking person.

MYOB
Mind your own business.

And I believe religion, which goes hand in hand with child rape, is wrong.

[ Parent ]
you are trully living in a delusional world
I believe Romney is more pro-family than anti-gay.  .

supporting gay marriage is pro-family. would you rather have a homosexual( male of female) marry your son or daughter?

Gay people deserve human rights (because they are human), but not their own set of rights

name an example of rights or privileges  that gay couples are seeking which heterosexuals do not enjoy.

even if I also believe they should stay in the closet, as there is a reason such things are done in a closet...  And acting on gay instincts is wrong.

when gays are marginalized, we have a right to fight back any bigotry or hate that "society" imposes on us . forcing us back into into the closet is regared as oppression.

Meanwhile, they should not force sexual orientation down the throat of society

i will write  to my local newspaper and tell to stop promoting sexual orientation by ceasing printing stories  of marriage announcements, engagements , couples celebrating 50 years wedding anniversaries and then i will tell my work collegues to stop discussing their wives, husbands, boyfriends, girlfriends, celebrity crushes, weekend flings, etc.

he also recognizes the threat their moral agency and screwed up values, pushed on society, are to the base of society

the screwed up values in today's society are a result of divorce , adultery, teenage pregnancies, out of wedlock kids, physical and mental abuse, alcohol,  child abandonment, etc.  we gays did not cause these situations. you can pass thousands of so-called "marriage amendments" but that will not stop these situations from occuring. you cannot go on forever blaming us gays for society's ills .

We are all going to have to live in the same world until God declares Sodom and Gomorrah II or we die

again with sodom and gomorrah. can you name a non-fictional society that crumbled when it embraced the "homosexual agenda"?

[ Parent ]
preach it to Provo....
.....many many people, including many mainline and evangelical Christians (myself included) think Mormons have screwed up values and are a "cult", and a threat to society as a whole.......does that mean your freedoms should be taken away?  or that the benefits you earn should be denied based on your choice to be in a dangerous cult?   I would say no.  Others would say yes.

God's truth is not in the Book of Mormon and there is no Angel Macaroni in the bible either.

[ Parent ]
Btw.......
.....your "church" had the same opinion about black people until 1980, so your message is a bit hollow.

[ Parent ]
another thing....
Doesn't Mormonism "change the definition of Christianty that has existed for thousands of years"?   Yes, it does.  In the scheme of things challenging the primacy of the Christ of the Bible is much more evil than wanting to be included in the civil institution of marriage.   You will burn for your heresy unless you repent.  My advice to you is to prepare yourself to burn for eternity.

[ Parent ]
From the article...
"Massachusetts should not become the Las Vegas of same-sex marriage," Romney told the New York Times in April 2004. "We do not intend to export our marriage confusion to the entire nation."

That is clear enough for me.

Mitt is pro-family, anti-gay marriage.

I am part of a family
a part of a family that your man Mitt writes off as 'marriage confusion"
We raised children, daughters who went to grad school, a son who is serving with distinction in Iraq, and who was in Afghanistan before that.

Tell me, when I stand with the other moms at Green Ramp to await my son's return, that we are not a family.  Tell me, when an incident occurs in Iraq that we have sketchy news of and the other wives and mothers from the family, and yes it is called the family group, call me or come here to wait news of the safety of our loved ones, that my family is not the same as the others.

So Mitt's statement is clear enough to you?
It is to me as well.
He is unfit to lead.
And a Church, any church that preaches such things is akin to the segregationalist churches of the fifties that cites scripture to keep Black Americans from having 'special rights'

Family, Faith
As a Mormon, Romney would probably agree with these two documents, the first on marriage, the second on Jesus Christ:

The Family: A Proclamation to the World

The Living Christ

It won't be lost on Mormons that Perkins emphasized knowing the bible and representing Christians
Most of the Christian Reich that Perkins represents detest Mormons. They don't consider them "Christians."

What have you done today, to make ya feel PROUD?
