Blend-o-licious endorsements...

The Christian Civic League of Maine's Mike Hein calls Pam's House Blend:
"a leading source of radical homosexual propaganda, anti-Christian bigotry, and radical transgender advocacy."

He is "praying that Pam Spaulding will "turn away from her wicked and sinful promotion of homosexual behavior." (CCLM's web site, 10/15/07)

Ex-gay "Christian" activist James Hartline on Pam:
"I have been mocked over and over again by ungodly and unprincipled anti-christian lesbians."
(from "Six Years In Sodom: From The Journal Of James Hartline," 9/4/2006, written from the "homosexual stronghold" of Hillcrest in San Diego).

"Pam is a 'twisted lesbian sister' and an 'embittered lesbian' of the 'self-imposed gutteral experiences of the gay ghetto.'" -- 9/5/2008

Peter LaBarbera of Americans for Truth Against Homosexuality heartily endorses the Blend, calling Pam:

A "vicious anti-Christian lesbian activist."
(Concerned Women for America's radio show [9:15], 1/25/07)

"A nutty lesbian blogger."
(MassResistance radio show [16:25], 2/3/07)

Pam's House Blend always seems to find these sick f*cks. The area of the country she is in? The home state of her wife? I know, they are everywhere. Pam just does such a great job of bringing them out into the light.

Video: the anti-gay performance that earned Matt 'Hillbilly' Boswell the Reidsville, NC boot

by: Pam Spaulding

Wed Oct 21, 2009 at 07:10:24 AM EDT

Here it is, Matt Boswell and the Hillbilly Blues Band in all its glory...to an audience of well, tens (if that, see the photo), who seem to be preoccupied with other things. I only see one woman in overalls clap at the homophobic line added to the Merle Haggard song, Merle Haggard's "Are the Good Times Really Over for Good?": 'And you can't get married, you stupid gays and queers, so why don't you go somewhere else?'

Thanks to gaydudenc for loading this one up. His accompanying description:

Yee-haw, Maw! Pass me a big ol' chaw!

C'mon in buckaroos and buckarettes! Hitch up your horsie for some down home entertainment...country style!

Look ya'll, this twangy little ditty is the anti-gay song that got country music singer wanna-be, Matt Boswell, 'booted' to the curb by city officials in Reidsville, North Carolina for good. Boswell was performing at the 2009 Downtown Reidsville Fall Festival, and he made up his own lyrics to a famous Merle Haggard song. Boswell decided to spice it up with some of his homegrown, corn-pone lyrics...including, 'And you can't get married, you stupid gays and queers, so why don't you go somewhere else?'

After Reidsville city officials found out about the use of the inflammatory hillbilly lyrics (a viewer complaint was filed with local TV station WGSR 47 in Reidsville which got the 8-ball rolling) - guitar plunking Matt Boswell was permanenty banned from ever performing at city sponsored events. The city manager, Kelly Almond, called Boswell's performance "tasteless" and he would never be booked again at a city sponsored, tax-paid family events.

Shoo-wee, Pappy! Break out your overalls, cowboy hats, Skoal, Tony Lama boots..and sit a spell! Take a load off while you cry in your beer. And stop kicking that coon-dog!

By the way, my little corn fritters, the offensive lyrics begin at around the 3:12 mark...if you can take it that long. Lots of alcohol would help. Oh, and watch the faces of the crowd as they're riveted to Boswell's performance. Okay, maybe not riveted. They were probably thinking that lots and lots of alcohol would be good right about then.

Shoot, even my ole Cuzzin Hildy-Bob thinks these here fools is an embarrassment to hillbillies.
It will be a great day when people worry about REAL problems and not who consenting adults are sleeping with.

I'm straight--not narrow

Im hatin America more and more
Amazing aint it - in 2009 LGBT citizens can be talked SHIT about - and NO Problem...could you imagine if instead of using the word Fags and queers  - he woulda' used N..gers and spics? ...what am I sayin...its a hillbilly crowd - they would have loved that too.

I'm not surprised
I doesn't exactly amaze me that the woman was clapping at the lyrics. Judging from her attire she had just arrived from slopping the pigs and smelling of manure.

She just left the all-you-can-eat buffet!
Wow! Watching the video of this so-called performance made me want to scream. Did that fiddle sound like someone was standing on a cat's tail or what? And what's with Señor Haystacks and that dialect..and the proverbial "thank ya vurry much" at the end. What the hell is that about?

Maybe the best part of the video is this crowd. While they all looked like they just left a taping of the Springer show, did you notice the NON-REACTION of them? They looked a little bored with Señor Haystacks and the Hillillies. Either they were bored or agree with this clown.

The only real reaction I saw to his song was after he said the "stupid gays and queers" part was from the woman in the red shirt and overalls who stands there and claps. You know, the one that looks like she just polished off five trips to the Golden Corral all-you-can-eat buffet. Pitiful.

Wonder why Boswell isn't issuing any statements about how he stands by God, Momma, the flag, guns, the Iraq war, George W., apple pie and hound dogs? Oh, and how proud he is to be a breeder. Can't forget that.

Look at the size of that crowd
A car wreck would attract more people.

Cisgender. Because "Genetic" (or non) is so 2006.

Reidsville is off my favorite destination spots
Of course I'd never heard of the dump until this story

"race, taste. and History finally overcome....and you ain't there"
by Tony Kushner

Does Reidsville make anything normal folks might buy?

GOOD NEWS!
The Reidsville City Council is standing behind city manager, Kelly Almond, in his decision to ban Matt Boswell.

From the Greensboro News & Record: Reidsville City Council members said they stand behind Almond's decision and applauded his quick response.

"If he became aware of that and didnt do something, then I would say that would be a problem," Councilwoman Joan Zdanski said. Zdanski said she appreciates freedom of speech but said it carries with it responsibility.

Councilman W. Clark Turner agreed with her.

"If he (Boswell) wants to stand on the street corner and say that, thats one thing," Turner said. "But to say it in a city-sponsored event - that is altogether a different thing."

Good to see that Mr. Almond is getting backed by his council - and they too will not allow bigots to perform just so a few people can get off on hearing some so-called performer feel like a big boy by saying the word queer.

Applause is in order for these people!
