The Christian Civic League of Maine's Mike Hein calls Pam's House Blend:
"a leading source of radical homosexual propaganda, anti-Christian bigotry, and radical transgender advocacy."

He is "praying that Pam Spaulding will "turn away from her wicked and sinful promotion of homosexual behavior." (CCLM's web site, 10/15/07)

Ex-gay "Christian" activist James Hartline on Pam:
"I have been mocked over and over again by ungodly and unprincipled anti-christian lesbians."
(from "Six Years In Sodom: From The Journal Of James Hartline," 9/4/2006, written from the "homosexual stronghold" of Hillcrest in San Diego).

"Pam is a 'twisted lesbian sister' and an 'embittered lesbian' of the 'self-imposed gutteral experiences of the gay ghetto.'" -- 9/5/2008

Peter LaBarbera of Americans for Truth Against Homosexuality heartily endorses the Blend, calling Pam:

A "vicious anti-Christian lesbian activist."
(Concerned Women for America's radio show [9:15], 1/25/07)

"A nutty lesbian blogger."
(MassResistance radio show [16:25], 2/3/07)

Pam's House Blend always seems to find these sick f*cks. The area of the country she is in? The home state of her wife? I know, they are everywhere. Pam just does such a great job of bringing them out into the light.

Ken Hutcherson's 'Minority Thought Pattern' as he defends Rush, slavery

by: Pam Spaulding

Tue Nov 03, 2009 at 08:00:00 AM EST

Honest to god, it's hard to take Washingon State-based homobigot Rev. Ken Hutcherson seriously. This is a man who stood up and said he was going to take down Microsoft by buying shares and dumping them, "putting the fear of god" into the Redmond, WA software company for not hating on the gays.

The former NFL linebacker and full-time anti-gay activist has penned a column in -- irony alert here -- American Thinker -- that has to be read to be believed. He's tired of people picking on his pal, Oxy procurer and all-around fetid radio gasbag Rush Limbaugh for his Obama the Magic Negro and "Child" moniker for the President pro-American values.

I have watched the news, I have seen television, and I have heard different commentators talk about my friend, all the while knowing the things they say are lies. I am proud to be an American and proud of the United States of America, and again this makes it personal to me. I not only see Rush Limbaugh and the conservative movement in this action being attacked, but the entire foundation of what made America great.

Freedom is under attack, and we as Americans need to wake up and stop this madness in the greatest nation ever formed.

Let's talk about what seems to have happened to Rush Limbaugh. Here is a man who loves professional football almost as much as he loves America's traditions, values, and heritage of liberty. Rush has dedicated his life to the study of both football and America. He understands America and superbly communicates his understanding with millions every weekday. He understands the game of football, and has influenced it positively by being its biggest fan. Yet Rush has suffered attempts to destroy him with lies, misunderstandings and a direct effort to eliminate his influence in America...over the pretext of what? A game?

Hutch goes on to make an insane, but passionate case for honoring slavery and the masterful white men who arrived on this continent's shores and how their whips and subjugation of red, yellow, brown and black people in various ways hard work built this country. So damn unappreciated, says the reverend.

I truly believe that this is brought on by what I call the Minority Thought Pattern. Let's not mince words: the Minority Thought Pattern is the total disdain and hatred of what God has accomplished through the white male throughout history. Coming from an African-American, I know this will shock you.

I am not minimizing the accomplishments of women, African-Americans, immigrants, the religious, or anyone else who is part of America. But the white male was here on Plymouth Rock for God to use, and the Pilgrims had a great belief in that God. The nation built out of their efforts, reflecting their values (most especially their religious values), has become the light of liberty for the world and an obstacle to those power-hungry individuals who hate it.

WT ever-loving F? I'm not minimizing the accomplishments of these minorities, but I'll just go ahead now and do it. I think what we are seeing here is the Minority Lawn Jockey Thought Pattern, suffered from too much exposure to white evangelicals who prey on misguided, God-fearing black pastors from Washington State who sees them as his masters.

This is extremely personal to me. It's about a friend. When I look at Rush, I don't see a white man; I see a friend. I don't see a talk show host (a very famous talk show host); I see a friend, and friendship overrides color and political stances. I don't see a controversial figure, but a man whose heart and thoughts I know, and a man who is not a racist.

Screech....What? Barack The Magic Negro wasn't racist? How about this:

LIMBAUGH: As the economy performs worse than expected, the deficit for the 2010 budget year beginning in October will worsen by $87 billion to $1.3 trillion. The deterioration reflects lower tax revenues and higher costs for bank failures, unemployment benefits and food stamps. But in the Oval Office of the White House none of this is a problem. This is the objective. The objective is unemployment. The objective is more food stamp benefits. The objective is more unemployment benefits. The objective is an expanding welfare state. And the objective is to take the nation's wealth and return to it to the nation's quote, "rightful owners." Think reparations. Think forced reparations here if you want to understand what actually is going on.

What about his call to resegregate school buses? Or this one:

On the January 24 broadcast of his nationally syndicated radio show, host Rush Limbaugh referred to Sen. Barack Obama (D-IL) and actress Halle Berry as "Halfrican American[s]," stating that "Barack Obama has picked up another endorsement: Halfrican American actress Halle Berry." Limbaugh then said: " 'As a Halfrican American, I am honored to have Ms. Berry's support, as well as the support of other Halfrican Americans,' Obama said." Limbaugh then conceded that Obama "didn't say it."

One more for the road:

When the reality show Survivor split competing groups by race/ethnicity, Limbaugh commented that the contest was "not going to be fair if there's a lot of water events" and suggested that "blacks can't swim."

I guess the good Rev. only watches Faux News and doesn't read up outside his boundaries. Psst, Hutch -- Rush is a race baiter. Hope you sleep soundly at night and dream about your BFF's open arms to the negroes.

Everyone has their price. The question is, was Rev. Hutch obtained during a find-an-anti-gay-black pastor fire sale?

Uncle Ruckus lives
If Boondocks creator Aaron McGruder got into a small room with Hutcherson for five minutes, it wouldn't be pretty:

omg, he's real!
Yeah, I'm in awe. I had always thought that Uncle Ruckus' self-hating rhetoric was exaggerated for comedic effect, but that line about the Minority Thought Pattern could've been taken from one of his rants verbatim.

Watching him is going to be a little more chilling from now on.

[ Parent ]
that was the first thing I thought as well.

Be better, not bitter!

[ Parent ]
On that note
This is Hutchinson's religious hope and dream.

In general though, Hutchinson serves a valuable purpose. When every racist says they have a "black friend" they are talking about him. Hell wasn't there some posts back near the election of a bunch of racist pastors saying they weren't racist because they could throw up a picture of themselves hugging Ken Hutchinson for a photo op?

[ Parent ]
My first thought exactly.
Wow.

[ Parent ]
That's some serious coonery there!

You beat me to the punch:)

This line right here:
I truly believe that this is brought on by what I call the Minority Thought Pattern. Let's not mince words: the Minority Thought Pattern is the total disdain and hatred of what God has accomplished through the white male throughout history. Coming from an African-American, I know this will shock you

Is a sign that this man needs to be pittied and not hated. He is so obviously lost. I wonder what his parishoners think about what he just said?

On the flip side...this is hardly unsual. There were Jews who helped the Nazis, and women who did not think that women should have the right to vote.

Colonialism and the Wars of the Reformation?
To name just two of the dubious "accomplishments" of white Europeans. I mean really, what is he smoking? Or is this just more evidence for head injuries among ex-NFL players?

No one is denigrating the true accomplishments of, say, white male inventors by pointing out Rush's history of racial stupidity - I happen to think the steam engine, calculus and the theory of genetic inheritence are all good things - but this idea that white guys somehow did everything of note is ludicrous.

I suppose we should consider algebra and pasta as immoral because they were invented by the Arabs and the Chinese? Or is God just giving us one of those complicated messages by using these non-white populations for significant human achievements? I won't even go into blood transfusions or the impact of GW Carver's work (but let's just say that no Choosey Moms would be able to choose any peanut butter without him).

[ Parent ]
Not to mention...
...that there are plenty of gays and lesbians who don't see why we should have the right to marry.

[ Parent ]
Uh, Sorry
I can't cut the brotha slack on this one. Anti-gay feelings and all, OK, I will (and have) attack him and anyone else on those grounds...

But this?

[ Parent ]
Hutcherson has not only drunk the almond-flavored Kool-aide
He is handing out the cups. Honestly, this is not at all surprising: his fanatical Talibangelical conservativism makes it impossible to see anything other than "Rush is right."

Plus ça change, plus c'est la même merde.

he's right about one thing
I was going to shred him for propagating the myth that the Pilgrims came here to establish a haven for religious liberty for the whole world, but I'll just take him at his word:
The nation built out of their efforts, reflecting their values (most especially their religious values)
Hutcherson really does want to see a nation built on the Pilgrims' religious values--i.e., one and only one religion is acceptable, and everyone else can go to the stocks. Or the stake. I used to despise this guy, but now I just sort of feel sorry for him.

Yup... and those values included seeing his ancestors as chattel property
without valid emotions, without higher thought, without human dignity, and without souls.

The irony is, I can't picture the Shepherd of Judea saying, "Not to denigrate the Jews, the Samaritans, the Persians, the Greeks, or the Pheonecians, but the Romans were put here in Jerusalem for God's use."

Damn. I think Jesus had a minority thought pattern. Oops.

[ Parent ]
I rather suspect...
that Hutcherson is confusing his ancestors with himself - he certainly seems to be without compassion, without reason or logic, without respect for others' dignity, perhaps even without a soul.

Seriously True...
What I'd want to see, though, are more counters to huim and his ilk - not quiet people being confused, but loud community leaders telling him to BACK UP.

[ Parent ]
You know what...
no one really needs to come out and counter him. That last comment of his was so outrageous that he essentially declared himself irrelevant.

Really, other than the foaming at the moth homophobes and racists looking for a black friend who is going to take him seriously?

[ Parent ]
methinks the good
rev./former NFL linebacker doth protest a wee bit too much. i'm inclined to believe (with no actual, factual evidence, merely gut instinct) that, late in the evening, after a hard day's homo baiting, he retires to that comfy closet in his house, for a well-earned night's sleep.

i could be wrong.

Diagnosis?
Has the good reverend ever been screened for traumatic brain injury? I hear there's a high incidence of this amoungst retired NFL types.

If Hutcherson wants to honour White Man...
perhaps his first choice should be George Fox, founder of the Quakers and the man whose philosophy gave rise to the abolitionist movement, formed a key foundation to the Bill of Rights and was (through Bayard Rustin) key to the adoption of non-violent resistance by the Civil Rights movement. In other words, a man whose philosophy has had a huge effect on ensuring recognition of the rights of Blacks, religious minorities and others. Unfortunately for the theological spawn of the Puritans isn't ever going to honour the founder of the Quakers; the Puritans tried to wipe the Quakers out, after all. I also doubt Hutcherson would be enamoured with Fox due to the influence (via Rustin and others) of Fox's philosophy on the LGBT rights movement, and the strong and growing support amongst Quakers for LGBT rights.

Of course, the fact that George Fox was a White male is to a degree merely a happenstance of history; there is no reason why someone from any other ethnic group should not have developed philosophical principles of pacifism and equality similar to those of Fox; in fact many have done so. The considerable influence of Fox's philosophy is due largely to the fact that he was White, and the later dominance of Whites, not because he was more enlightened than other thinkers.

History's high-profile White philosophers are not especially blessed; merely racially fortunate.

The loss of freedom???
Aside from all of Hutcherson's self-loathing homo-bigoted looniness, here's the other thing I really just don't comprehend:

Freedom is under attack, and we as Americans need to wake up and stop this madness in the greatest nation ever formed.

We hear this a lot from the Beck/Limbaugh/O'Reilly/Palin types, yet I don't see anybody calling them out on this.

Exactly what freedoms are being attacked?

Certainly no one is taking away their freedom to vote or to hold these silly tea-bagger rallies.  They still have the freedom to speak out publicly, voice their opinions, and make themselves look like ignorant, intolerant, foaming-at-the-mouth douchebags - and make money for doing it!

but a man whose heart and thoughts I know, and a man who is not a racist.
that is a straight up lie. Rush belongs to the Everglades Club here in Palm Beach. Anyone who know this man knows he's a racist. The good rev is a media whore.

http://EQFL.org

There is some thought
that part of the reason for the $100k donation to Approve R71 from MSFT was a message to Hutcherson to STFU and GTFO, that they are tired of his little temper tantrums.

"Any transition serious enough to alter your definition of self will require not just small adjustments in your way of living and thinking but a full-on metamorphosis."

Dropped on his head, dropped on his head.
Something like that must have happened.

Oh My Goodness...Uncle Ruckus lives!!
"Colored folk talkin' bout save me,
wasn't nuttin' wrong with slavery,
least we had good food back then,
white man show could be your friend."
