Good news Indeed

Over the course of the summer, I sent multiple letters, called numerous times and e-mailed quite often to urge CNN to ditch the old windbag. He, after 30 years, had become a dusty old relic of the past. Cheers to progress, enlightenment and better days ahead!!

Close the GayTM. Only give to candidates who have actually done something other than make promises - most are just pandering for our cash.

Has Anyone Else Seen the Fox Hoax Footage from John Stewart?

I don't have a link, but basically John Stewart called out Fox news on supposed footage of the Michelle Bachman's Mini Tea Party last week. Apparently, Fox was cutting in footage of the 9/12 protest to make Bachman's protest look big. And of course, it was Glenn Beck's show which aired it. LMAO!!

Close the GayTM. Only give to candidates who have actually done something other than make promises - most are just pandering for our cash.

CNN's now taking out the trash.

They got rid of former HLN pundit Glenn Beck.  Now they're getting rid of Lou Dobbs.  Now I am waiting for MSNBC to take out its trash (like Joe Scarborough, Mika Brzezhiski and Pat Buchanan).

I can't remember where I first saw it pointed out

that the Teabaggers are getting the logic of the Boston Tea Party almost perfectly backwards.  The latter was people complaining of taxation without representation; the Teabaggers complain that the wrong types of people are being represented as well as taxed.

I am SO grateful!

Lou Dobbs was the only one on CNN who made me feel like I was watching the FOX "News"Channel - the most I could take of his show was about five minutes, about the same tolerance I might have for FOX "News" on a good day.

I'd bet a wooden nickel they asked him to leave, but allowed him to save face.

I heard his statement on his show on video

He said in a discussion with CNN's owner they mutually agreed to LET HIM OUT OF HIS CONTRACT.

So he wouldn't be bound by any non competiton clause if he goes to FAUX.

I doubt King has what it takes to be sucessful on his own.

I dunno about Mr. Sanchez

He's asked a few interview questions that were real knee-slappers - made him look stupid, not his subject.  And my take on him at an emotional level is he seems quite full of himself.  Now when I see his face, pretty as he is, I just surf elsewhere.  Did I just catch him on bad days before?

Many folks of a certain age retreat to a fear-based, "oh for the good ol' days" mindset that is incapable of importing new data, seeing shades of gray, and holding multiple perspectives and facts in consideration simultaneously.  Arteries hardening?  Maybe he'd be more comfortable in Pleasantville.
