Blend-o-licious endorsements...

The Christian Civic League of Maine's Mike Hein calls Pam's House Blend:
"a leading source of radical homosexual propaganda, anti-Christian bigotry, and radical transgender advocacy."

He is "praying that Pam Spaulding will "turn away from her wicked and sinful promotion of homosexual behavior." (CCLM's web site, 10/15/07)

Ex-gay "Christian" activist James Hartline on Pam:
"I have been mocked over and over again by ungodly and unprincipled anti-christian lesbians."
(from "Six Years In Sodom: From The Journal Of James Hartline," 9/4/2006, written from the "homosexual stronghold" of Hillcrest in San Diego).

"Pam is a 'twisted lesbian sister' and an 'embittered lesbian' of the 'self-imposed gutteral experiences of the gay ghetto.'" -- 9/5/2008

Peter LaBarbera of Americans for Truth Against Homosexuality heartily endorses the Blend, calling Pam:

A "vicious anti-Christian lesbian activist."
(Concerned Women for America's radio show [9:15], 1/25/07)

"A nutty lesbian blogger."
(MassResistance radio show [16:25], 2/3/07)

Pam's House Blend always seems to find these sick f*cks. The area of the country she is in? The home state of her wife? I know, they are everywhere. Pam just does such a great job of bringing them out into the light.

AP Takes The Red Marker To Sarah Palin's "Going Rogue"

by: Louise

Sat Nov 14, 2009 at 09:00:00 AM EST

Or should we say red CRAYON?

PALIN: Says she made frugality a point when traveling on state business as Alaska governor, asking "only" for reasonably priced rooms.

THE FACTS: Although travel records indicate she usually opted for less-pricey hotels while governor, Palin and daughter Bristol stayed five days and four nights at the $707.29-per-night Essex House luxury hotel for a five-hour women's leadership conference.

PALIN: Boasts that she ran her campaign for governor on small donations and turned back large checks from big donors.

THE FACTS: Of the roughly $1.3 million she raised, more than half came from people and political action committees giving at least $500.

More below the fold.

Louise :: AP Takes The Red Marker To Sarah Palin's "Going Rogue"

PALIN:
She says her team overseeing the development of a natural gas pipeline set up an open, competitive bidding process.

THE FACTS: Palin characterized the pipeline deal the same way before an AP investigation found her team crafted terms that favored only a few independent pipeline companies and ultimately benefited a company with ties to her administration, TransCanada Corp.

PALIN:
Welcomes last year's Supreme Court decision deciding punitive damages for victims of the nation's largest oil spill tragedy, the Exxon Valdez disaster. As governor, she says, she'd had the state argue in favor of the victims, and she says the court's ruling went "in favor of the people."

THE FACTS: That response is at odds with her reaction at the time to the ruling, which resolved the long-running case by reducing punitive damages for victims to $500 million from $2.5 billion.

PALIN:
"Was it ambition? I didn't think so. Ambition drives; purpose beckons." Throughout the book, Palin cites altruistic reasons for running for office, and for leaving early as Alaska governor.

THE FACTS: Few politicians own up to wanting high office for the power and prestige of it, and in this respect, Palin fits the conventional mold. But "Going Rogue" has all the characteristics of a pre-campaign manifesto, the requisite autobiography of the future candidate.

This is fascinating.
But not surprising.

However, the buzz I'm hearing is that this book isn't the least bit Presidential.  I probably won't read it, but if I did, it would be for one reason - to see if anywhere, even once, she writes something to the tune of, "I made a mistake" - even something as milquetoast as "if I had to do it over again, I'd probably choose a different direction" ...

Palin is a textbook egomaniac, in that everything bad that ever happens to her is someone else's fault, and any facts that might indicate the contrary are just ... not ... allowed ... into ... her ... brain.

"There are two kinds of people in this world -- the kind who separate the world into two kinds of people, and those who don't."  -- Gloria Steinem

Wha....?!?
SEVEN HUNDRED dollars per night?

When Sarah goes "rogue", she does so by paying more for a single night's lodgings than I do for a month's rent - and that's living alone in a major city.  And twice as much (in 2009 dollars) as the $250ish rooms that only occasionally dotted my family's vacation itinerary, even with my fortunate upbringing (Dad is a family-practice physician).  Yet this kook has the sheer unmitigated audacity to claim that she's in touch with "real America" (or the applicable variant-du-jour), and it gets eaten with a fork and spoon all over the heartland.

What kind of stage-management genius do they have to spray this turd with to get people to buy it?!?
