"If you're gay, lesbian, or bisexual, would you sacrifice for your trans neighbors and siblings? If you're trans, would you sacrifice for your gay, lesbian, or bisexual neighbors and siblings? It's something worth knowing about yourself and those around you."
--Autumn Sandeen, 4/19/2010, the night before GetEQUAL's DADT repeal protest at the White House

Blend-o-licious endorsements...

The Christian Civic League of Maine's Mike Hein calls Pam's House Blend:
"a leading source of radical homosexual propaganda, anti-Christian bigotry, and radical transgender advocacy."

He is "praying that Pam Spaulding will "turn away from her wicked and sinful promotion of homosexual behavior." (CCLM's web site, 10/15/07)

Ex-gay "Christian" activist James Hartline on Pam:
"I have been mocked over and over again by ungodly and unprincipled anti-christian lesbians."
(from "Six Years In Sodom: From The Journal Of James Hartline," 9/4/2006, written from the "homosexual stronghold" of Hillcrest in San Diego).

"Pam is a 'twisted lesbian sister' and an 'embittered lesbian' of the 'self-imposed gutteral experiences of the gay ghetto.'" -- 9/5/2008

Peter LaBarbera of Americans for Truth Against Homosexuality heartily endorses the Blend, calling Pam:

A "vicious anti-Christian lesbian activist."
(Concerned Women for America's radio show [9:15], 1/25/07)

"A nutty lesbian blogger."
(MassResistance radio show [16:25], 2/3/07)

Pam's House Blend always seems to find these sick f*cks. The area of the country she is in? The home state of her wife? I know, they are everywhere. Pam just does such a great job of bringing them out into the light.

Why do Christianist bigots even try doing rap?

by: Pam Spaulding

Sun Feb 28, 2010 at 21:42:34 PM EST

O.M.F.G. Anti-gay WingNutDaily columnist Molotov Mitchell has some serious issues with Islam as well -- no surprise there. Rather than waste any time criticizing his broad spectrum of bigotry, evaluate his rap skilz.

Weigh in on the poll.

If you really feel like being punished, watch his diatribe in favor of Uganda's "execute gays" video.

H/T, Joe.My.God, who calls Mitchell "the teabagger Eminem."

Pam Spaulding :: Why do Christianist bigots even try doing rap?
Poll
What do you think of Molotov Mitchell's rap skilz?
Bargain bin all the way
Worthy use of Auto-Tune related to talent
Jesus wants to vote him off of the planet
I'll get his number to pass on to The Peter
Next career move - kept boy of Christianist perv
"Talented" enough to be invited to CPAC '11
Will make nice lawn boy for Sarah Palin

President Obama
is far from perfect, and there are good reasons to be disappointed in him so far, but that he's a do nothing president or because you lost your job at a bakery is not one of them.

If they only watch Fox News, yeah they probably haven't seen anything he's accomplished.  And if they don't pay attention to the filibustering, nomination blocking, turning against their own legislation republicans then it makes sense that they'd blame the President.

President Obama signed the Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Act, he signed a bill to expand veteran benefits, he signed kids tobacco legislation, he signed a land protection act, & SCHIP, gave the Cairo speech to the Muslim world which he followed up with this year appointing a special envoy, & has represented our country abroad (Europe seems to be pretty fond of him for the most part), he oversees an EPA that has shown it is willing to get tough on environmental issues via regulation if the congress won't via legislation, he gave a widely watched education speech, he's advocated for science in our schools, & is for stem cell research, he's appointed a supreme court justice, he's ended torture (ordered a return to the use of the Army Field Manual), respects the Geneva Convention, and has plans to close Gitmo (albeit behind schedule after responding to facts on the ground), he's going to have us out or Iraq next year and starting to pulling out of Afghanistan (the one that actually attacked us) at the same time, and start disclosing all White House visitors so there is no wiggle room for defining lobbyists.  And there were good parts of the recovery act, and cash for clunkers which had an environment and economic purpose, and the first time home buyers subsidies, and challenging the BS conservative leaning SCOTUS ruling.  And there is a Jobs Bill that will hopefully be signed soon.

Signing the Matthew Sheppard act into law, the ryan white care act, he has lifted the travel/immigration ban, he has expanded federal benefits to gay spouses which is the largest employer in the US, and a few gay appointments aren't enough.  Having gay couples attending white house events is hardly worth mentioning given the way it happened, but I did like that the State of the Union guest list mentioned a gay couple adopting.

I know McCain would not sign a DADT repeal, so if the President actually signs it (not just keeps saying he will sign it if Congress does the work) then it'll be clear to me that he's the lesser of 2 evils compared to the Republicans.  He's not been the fierce advocate he promised to be, but he has done a lot on other fronts, and gets way more shit than I've seen any other president get this early into their term with how much he has done.

If we can get DADT repeal, and an inclusive ENDA signed into law, and UAFA before the end of his first term then I could actually get excited about voting for him again.  I'm not holding my breath, but I'm not giving up either.

not being a maschist by nature,
i must decline your kind offer to sear my eardrums, by listening to this.

ok, that should be
masochist. see, the mere thought of listening to that screwed me up.

Every so often, something comes along
that makes me glad to be hard of hearing. This is one of those things.

NOM ~ "Mine is an honorable task and I shall drown out anyone who claims otherwise!"

I'm not giving that facist a**hole the traffic...
And remembering the god-awful bullsh*t that was "Christian" Rock, I can imagine just how lame Molovov's bullsh*t is. Nothing "Christian" can ever be considered quality. That goes for movies, music, books, etc. Their laughable attempts to shill for Jaysus are just that-laughable.

[ Parent ]
"Christian Rock"
The biggest joke about that is half of the men are gay.  The funniest one being American Idol reject turned "christian" artist RJ Helton....who then later came out after denying he was gay for the longest time.

[ Parent ]
And let's not forget Ray Boltz..
Another one who denied being gay for the longest time. Too bad he was also one of the worst songwriters I've ever heard.

[ Parent ]
REALLY REALLY painful and cringe worthy
I won't use the white rapper slur...but I'm thinkin' it

"race, taste. and History finally overcome....and you ain't there"
by Tony Kushner

nice... "ugandans are free to leave!"
Right... Probably will help with asylum claims though...

What's Molotov's best rhyme?
"Look into my eyes
All you see is pies."

Could anything be better than that?

LOL
No surprise that he lost his jobs if all he did was bake pies "Raw". What a simp! and we won't even go into the racist crap of how Obama is some how a "homeboy" a "bro" and a myriad of other names I wouldn't necessarily call a man who was The President of the United States, A US Senator, head of the Harvard Law Revue and a constitutional law professor. That is unless he was black....

Always thinking about it...

oh my
i made it through the first minute.  blaming his ignorance on public schools?  and here i thought he was from the party of personal responsibility, up by the bootstraps etc.  but no, the state wasn't nanny enough for this poor dear.  so i don't know what caused his ignorance, but i agree with him that he is ignorant.
