Blend-o-licious endorsements...

The Christian Civic League of Maine's Mike Hein calls Pam's House Blend:
"a leading source of radical homosexual propaganda, anti-Christian bigotry, and radical transgender advocacy."

He is "praying that Pam Spaulding will "turn away from her wicked and sinful promotion of homosexual behavior." (CCLM's web site, 10/15/07)

Ex-gay "Christian" activist James Hartline on Pam:
"I have been mocked over and over again by ungodly and unprincipled anti-christian lesbians."
(from "Six Years In Sodom: From The Journal Of James Hartline," 9/4/2006, written from the "homosexual stronghold" of Hillcrest in San Diego).

"Pam is a 'twisted lesbian sister' and an 'embittered lesbian' of the 'self-imposed gutteral experiences of the gay ghetto.'" -- 9/5/2008

Peter LaBarbera of Americans for Truth Against Homosexuality heartily endorses the Blend, calling Pam:

A "vicious anti-Christian lesbian activist."
(Concerned Women for America's radio show [9:15], 1/25/07)

"A nutty lesbian blogger."
(MassResistance radio show [16:25], 2/3/07)

Pam's House Blend always seems to find these sick f*cks. The area of the country she is in? The home state of her wife? I know, they are everywhere. Pam just does such a great job of bringing them out into the light.

Tucker getting the axe?

by: Pam Spaulding

Sun Mar 09, 2008 at 19:00:00 PM EDT

(UPDATE: David Gregory got Tucker's time slot.)

That's what TVNewser is reporting.

The official announcement, expected tomorrow, will include details about who will replace Tucker at 6pmET as well as other political programming additions. Sources say the network is going to beef up its schedule with more NBC News talent.

In recent days, Jossip, as well as other blogs, ratcheted up the talk that Tucker would be replaced "for a new project." In its 33-month run, Carlson's show has had two names, four time slots and multiple formats.

Alex Blaze of The Bilerico Project is spot-on:
Maybe MSNBC has realized that swinging to the Right to try and shake out Fox News for viewers isn't a winning strategy. Or maybe they realized that at least half their commentators should accept the reality that white men aren't oppressed. Or maybe they think that people don't want to watch a bully wannabe talk about his fun days of beating up fags. Or maybe they got tired of his history of abusing the rules of logic, evidence, and reality.
Or how about this gem, questioning Barack Obama's masculinity for having a book club:
...Carlson recently referred to Obama's "rhetoric" as "kind of wimpy" and said that Obama "seems like kind of a wuss." Carlson also said that Obama "sounds like a pothead."

During the segment, Carlson discussed the book clubs with Geist, who claimed that "Obama has violated the trust of men everywhere," and said: "It makes you wonder what he won't compromise of himself. Are we going to have mani/pedi parties next? You know what I mean?"

It looks like we'll still see more of the secure-in-his-masculinity Mr. Carlson on the campaign trail for all you fans out there.

Next to go?
Morning Joe?

When you look for the bad in mankind, expecting to find it, you surely will.

- Abraham Lincoln.

abrams himself
Seriously, what the heck is abrams doing on the air now any way?  isn't he msnbc's GM?

[ Parent ]
Not anymore
Can't find the article at the moment, but I read that he decided that he would rather be on the air.

Love cutie Dan!
No! Not Dan Abrams! He's cuter than Anderson Cooper. I could get lost in his puppy dog eyes.

When you look for the bad in mankind, expecting to find it, you surely will.

some times I like him and some times he seems too absorbed with being on air
this being said, I hope that if he stays on air, he watches what he says to th make-up artists.  There have been quite a few times (though not as many since he came back on the air) that you can tell he must have ticked off the wrong person since the make-up made him look like he was auditioning for south park

Good
Several MSNBC hosts irritate me, but Tucker Carlson in particular is a waste of time.

Tucker
I don't get it Keith Olbermann has the BEST show and ratings on all of MSNBC.  What part of that don't the exec's get. They need to get more hosts with his point of view. I vote for Stephanie Miller.

mickh

thumbs up on Stephanie
She's whip smart and would be a great morning show host, certainly better than Morning Joe.

[ Parent ]
I don't think it's his opinion
I think it's the don't take yourself tooooo seriously flow of the show.  I think there should be a mix of liberal and conservative shows, I just don't think they shows be just like  the shows on the other networks

Reading is girly and/or gay now?
Wow. Could that have been a readable sign when I was in highschool? But then I got flack from girls who were functionally illiterate even in high school for openly reading.

Anti-intellectualism... because you wouldn't want someone who was smart in charge of the country would you, not someone who understands complicated ideas.

Anyone else noticed how to most the fundies and much right intelligent is a dirty word, along with education.

I think
that was one of the main jokes in Mike Judge's Idiocracy. Any mention of ever having read a book lead to accusations of homosexuality. Carlson would have fit right in.

Happy to see Tucker's show go....
...but bummed out he'll still be on the tv spouting his anti-liberal/pro-neocon stances. He's such a waste of time! Gawd.

MSNBC will do the wrong thing... (They always do)
They'll replace Tucker with someone worse.  Remember, MSNBC is the network that brought you the Michael Savage show.  Michael was only fired from MSNBC for telling a gay man to get AIDS and die -- ON AIR.

And, remember, that MSNBC was the network that Hired "Dr." Laura Schlessinger at the height of her anti-gay hate campaign when she was calling GLBT people "biological errors."

So, you can bet, whoever MSNBC hires will be a rampant homophobe as was Carlson himself.

Does anyone see a pattern emerging at MSNBC?

methinks he doth protest too much
There's usually a reason someone is so rampantly homophobic and fearful of appearing wimpy (especially when he is rather, shall we say, fey).  Tucker always gave me a vibe, I'm just saying.

if only CNN would get rid of glen beck
i hate waking up at 4am to replays of his nauseating show
