Blend-o-licious endorsements...

The Christian Civic League of Maine's Mike Hein calls Pam's House Blend:
"a leading source of radical homosexual propaganda, anti-Christian bigotry, and radical transgender advocacy."

He is "praying that Pam Spaulding will "turn away from her wicked and sinful promotion of homosexual behavior." (CCLM's web site, 10/15/07)

Ex-gay "Christian" activist James Hartline on Pam:
"I have been mocked over and over again by ungodly and unprincipled anti-christian lesbians."
(from "Six Years In Sodom: From The Journal Of James Hartline," 9/4/2006, written from the "homosexual stronghold" of Hillcrest in San Diego).

"Pam is a 'twisted lesbian sister' and an 'embittered lesbian' of the 'self-imposed gutteral experiences of the gay ghetto.'" -- 9/5/2008

Peter LaBarbera of Americans for Truth Against Homosexuality heartily endorses the Blend, calling Pam:

A "vicious anti-Christian lesbian activist."
(Concerned Women for America's radio show [9:15], 1/25/07)

"A nutty lesbian blogger."
(MassResistance radio show [16:25], 2/3/07)

Pam's House Blend always seems to find these sick f*cks. The area of the country she is in? The home state of her wife? I know, they are everywhere. Pam just does such a great job of bringing them out into the light.

I love it!!
That was great! Fonzie rules!!!  AAAAAAA!

Brilliant
A very earnest Ron Howard comes across very well in this entertaining video. Great to see Andy and the Fonz too. Great nostalgia trip with a fantastic message.

But hey, would that make Ron a "Hollywood Liberal?"

Oh, yeah, those smears aren't working anymore/

Nostalgia? How about
something for an older demographic.  According to his biography at Wiki, James Garner is a long time Democrat, of course there could be copyright problems with him dressing up as a Maverick.

Outstanding!
I give much props to these actors for using their legacy to make a difference in this election cycle.  I especially like the fact that Andy and Fonzie were included in the mix.  I guess Potsy is voting Republican this year? (smile)

peace, Villager

About Andy
I thought I'd read some years ago that Andy Griffith was a lifelong Republican. How cool of him to do this.

About Andy
http://projects.newsobserver.c...
Andy Griffith is the spiritual godfather of the North Carolina Democratic Party. In "The Andy Griffith Show," he played the sheriff of a fictionalized version of his hometown of Mount Airy-a role that has been a cultural touchstone since the 1960s. At the same time, his portrayal of a cynical country singer in "A Face in the Crowd" has served as a darker counterpart. Off-screen, he's campaigned and raised money for Democratic politicians from Gov. Jim Hunt to current Gov. Mike Easley and Senate leader Marc Basnight and presidential candidate Barack Obama.

About Andy
Thank you wearbear! I am very happy to have been wrong.

[ Parent ]
Damn! I needed that.
It's clever, it's funny, it's nostalgic and it hits just the right note in this creepy, dispiriting election cycle. Between the mutilation hoax and the pending arrival tomorrow in my town of Ms. Palin and her goon squad, I needed a little levity.

It's odd to me that despite feeling more optimistic about the outcome this time around, I've been more shocked and angered than in any other election that I've taken part in and I'm a fifty year old political junkie.

I just keep hoping that having all of this racist bile come frothing to the top as opposed to the usual under the radar dog whistle shit they usually spew, will actually help bring us to the point where we can start to deal with it in a real way.

Denial, that is the problem.
We know the racism is there, but to show the other side it is there will be next to an impossible task.

#1 They have set the tone that Acorn will be responsible for voter fraud. Even though the Republicans held the White House, House of Representatives and Senate right after the 2000 election they were supposed to fix all these problems.  The 2002 midterm elections seeemed to show it was all fixed.  Than 2004 there was more problems.  In the 2006 mid terms everything seemed OK with a few exceptions.  We will see what this election holds.  but here will add to one part of denial if McSame/Bible Spice loses.

#2 They have been complaining about the money Obama has raised.  Repeating the lie that Obama said he would stick with Fed money.  He never signed anything to the fact he would use Fed money, but they claim he did by showing only a small part of a form and not showing the whole thing.  Same with the "Joe the Plumber" ordeal.  The claim Obama came up to him is complete Bull Shit.

#3 It is already stated that black people will vote for Obama because he is black.  For getting that blacks vote for the Democratic Candidates 87% plus or minus.

#4 The Bill Ayers garbage.  They claim the MSM hasn't focused on this issue enough.  Fox News has just gone overboard on this and not showing all the facts. CNN as well as MSNBC spent quite a bit of time on this.  They showed the whole story.  Obama addressed this during the third debate. But it wasn't enough for the right.  Obama would have to admit he believes in bombing property to make the right happy, all in the while the right will not push Abortion Clinic Bombers to apologize for what they did.

#5 The Elitism of the right is showing through as they try to paint Obama as an Elitist. Talk about Projestion.  If Obama wins it will be because the American people are stupid.  Not to mention that all the religious right have been praying to their god for a McCain victory.  This will be played out as god let Obama win so the people could see that god had to prove they were right and the people will have to vote for the republican next time.

I could go on and on, but you get the picture.  They will be in complete Denial and do their best to sabotage an Obama Presidency.

I hope we get a 60 seat Senate and a 30+ seat gain in the House of Representatives and Obama wins the White House.  That way the right can not hold up important pieces of legislation as they have for the last two years.

If I make sense? it was quite by accident.

That was a thing of beauty
Ron Howard
really should keep the stubble.  He just somehow doesn't look right without it.

Fun video, though.  It seems that this year the best political spots are "unofficial", viral-video sorts of things.  The individual no-on-8 spots have definitely been more to the point than the watery tv ads we've seen.

THANKS Ron Howard, Andy Griffith, and Henry Winkler

What have you done today, to make ya feel PROUD?

~Heather Small

I'd like another video please...
showing that McCain lost MATLOCK.  See how the senior citizen vote changes then.
