Blend-o-licious endorsements...

The Christian Civic League of Maine's Mike Hein calls Pam's House Blend:
"a leading source of radical homosexual propaganda, anti-Christian bigotry, and radical transgender advocacy."

He is "praying that Pam Spaulding will "turn away from her wicked and sinful promotion of homosexual behavior." (CCLM's web site, 10/15/07)

Ex-gay "Christian" activist James Hartline on Pam:
"I have been mocked over and over again by ungodly and unprincipled anti-christian lesbians."
(from "Six Years In Sodom: From The Journal Of James Hartline," 9/4/2006, written from the "homosexual stronghold" of Hillcrest in San Diego).

"Pam is a 'twisted lesbian sister' and an 'embittered lesbian' of the 'self-imposed gutteral experiences of the gay ghetto.'" -- 9/5/2008

Peter LaBarbera of Americans for Truth Against Homosexuality heartily endorses the Blend, calling Pam:

A "vicious anti-Christian lesbian activist."
(Concerned Women for America's radio show [9:15], 1/25/07)

"A nutty lesbian blogger."
(MassResistance radio show [16:25], 2/3/07)

Pam's House Blend always seems to find these sick f*cks. The area of the country she is in? The home state of her wife? I know, they are everywhere. Pam just does such a great job of bringing them out into the light.

P-FOX, Mission America targets site that reports contributors to Prop 8

Ex Gay Watch reports that an e-blast went out to Linda Harvey's Mission[ary Position] America mailing list urging recipients to protect heterosexuality by contacting the Southern Poverty Law Center. Why? Because http://www.eightmaps.com/, a site that uses publicly available information based on donor information in support of Prop 8. There is nothing on the site that calls for violence, intimidation or even a boycott. Mission America says to tell the SPLC:
This site has made it easy for anyone who wants to physically target a person who contributed funds to support the Proposition 8 marriage initiative. This is a direct incitement to possible violence, and the site needs to be taken down. In addition, please list under your "hate incidents" all the pro-homosexual, anti-marriage violence that occurred following the passage of Prop 8. Right now, there seems to be nothing listed on your site. Please be objective and list ALL types of "hate" incidents.
The idea here is that the information, again, publicly available because of donor laws in California, will be used to intimidate those listed. When the fundies brought a complaint to keep names of donors secret, a federal judge denied the request for secrecy.
The state had said in court papers that granting exemption to the plaintiffs could lead to a situation in which no campaign committee involved in a ballot measure could be required to disclose its donors because of the potential for harassment.

That would deny voters the right to know who was behind those campaigns, the state said.

The state also noted that most of the activity the plaintiffs called harassment was actually protected free speech, such as threats of boycotts.

It's ironic, though, considering the Prop 8 supporters tried to use the same database to shake down businesses to give to their side.
Opponents of Proposition 8 said it was hypocritical for anti-gay marriage backers to cite fear of harrassment.

Fred Karger, founder of gay-rights group Californians Against Hate, said the initiative's backers had threatened boycotts against businesses that failed to donate to their effort during the campaign.

You see, these purveyors of discrimination want there to be no consequences to their bottom lines as a result of their political positions.

Flawed logic
By their definition, the Secretary of the State of California would also have to be identified as a hate group, because it posts the same information on its website, per the law.  It's not going to fly with SPLC, just as it didn't fly with a federal judge.

I really doubt they'll get much sympathy from SPLC.

What this might, however, signify is the beginning of a coordinated attack on SPLC by right-wingers.  SPLC might have become their new whipping boy.

The funny thing is
The law that requires the donors list was also a citizen sponsored amendment to the state constitution.  Why do they hate citizen sponsored amendments except for theirs?

The trollish sounding blogger formerly known as BURNSEY

More psychological project from the fundeez
Why do they think LGBT supporters would use that list for violence or intimidation?

Because, if they had a similar list of pro-gay people, they would not hesitate to use it for harassment.

Fail.

I'll help them out:
In addition, please list under your "hate incidents" all the pro-homosexual, anti-marriage violence that occurred following the passage of Prop 8.

Here's the list for them:

Loony Linda
I think what has Linda's knickers in a bind is less about eightmaps.com and more about the fact that the SPLC dares to list "pro-family" groups such as Traditional Values Coalition and MassResistance in their hate group Who's Who.

Linda's essentially a female Petey LaBabs in that she believes every LGBT group or website is "radical", "anti-Christian", or "extremist".

You forgot,,,MILITANT,,,
or "militant"  Got to keep it together now.

If I make sense? it was quite by accident.

Let's compare lists
Wikipedia has a nice list titled Violence against LGBT people:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/V...

It should be used liberally at sites where commenters decry the 'violence' from the LGBT community directed at the 'pro-traditional-'family'' groups.  Here are the (reported) incidents that have happened SINCE the passage of Prop 8:

# On November 7, 2008 in Newton, NC the home of openly gay Melvin Whistlehunt was destroyed by arsonists. Investigators found homophobic graffiti spray painted on the back of the house. [63]
# On November 14, 2008, transwoman Lateisha Green was shot and killed in Syracuse, NY because the alleged perpetrator thought she was gay.[64] Local news media reported the incident with her legal name, Moses "Teish" Cannon.[65]
# On December 7, 2008 Romel Sucuzhanya, a 31 year old straight Equadorean and his brother Jose, were attacked on a Brooklyn, New York street for appearing to be gay and for being Hispanic; they were walking arm-in-arm, which is normal for brothers in their culture. Romel later died from his injuries.[66]
# On December 12, 2008 in Richmond, California a 28 year old lesbian was kidnapped and gang raped by four men who made homophobic remarks during the attack.[67]
# On December 16, 2008 in Washington, DC Durval Martins, 35, was shot in the head and killed while walking home from a local gay bar. Police said Martins' cell phone, cash, credit cards and jewelry were still in his possession.[68]
# on December 26, 2008 in Indianapolis, Indiana, Avery Elzy and Michael Hunt, a gay couple, were killed in their home along with one of their three dogs. A twenty year old man, Christopher Conwell, was arrested on 31 December and admitted to the murders two weeks later. [69]
# On December 27, 2008 in Dayton, Ohio 24 year old Nathan Runkle was brutally assaulted outside a gay nightclub.[70]
# On February 15, 2009 in New York City Efosa Agbontaen and Branden McGillvery-Dummett were attacked by four young men with glass bottles and box cutters who used anti-gay slurs during the attack. Agbontaen and McGillvery-Dummett both required emergency room treatment for their injuries.[71]
# On February 18, 2009 two men were arrested in Stroudsburg, PA for the stabbing death of gay veteran Michael Goucher [72]
# On March 1, 2009 in Galveston, Texas three men entered Roberts Lafitte bar and attacked patrons with rocks. One of the victims, Marc Bosaw, was sent to the emergency room to have 12 staples in his head.[73]
# On March 14, 2009 a gay couple leaving a concert in Newark, New Jersey were attacked by 15 teens. Josh Kehoe and Bobby Daniel Caldwell were called "faggots" and beaten. Caldwell suffered a broken jaw.[76]

Chuck Colson is at it as well
upChuck is doing the same "poor us" self-victimizing BS.

The only point of identifying Proposition 8 supporters is to encourage people to harass them. And the tactic is working.

Saddle up kids...
Gosh, I can't remember the last time a bunch of faggots jumped into the back of a pickup truck with a case of beer and some baseball bats to go teach some straights a lesson.

What anti-marriage violence are they talking about? Existing?
