The Christian Civic League of Maine's Mike Hein calls Pam's House Blend:
"a leading source of radical homosexual propaganda, anti-Christian bigotry, and radical transgender advocacy."
He is "praying that Pam Spaulding will "turn away from her wicked and sinful promotion of homosexual behavior."
(CCLM's web site, 10/15/07)
Ex-gay "Christian" activist James Hartline on Pam:
"I have been mocked over and over again by ungodly and unprincipled anti-christian lesbians."
(from "Six Years In Sodom: From The Journal Of James Hartline," 9/4/2006, written from the "homosexual stronghold" of Hillcrest in San Diego)."Pam is a 'twisted lesbian sister' and an 'embittered lesbian' of the 'self-imposed gutteral experiences of the gay ghetto.'" -- 9/5/2008
Peter LaBarbera of Americans for Truth Against Homosexuality heartily endorses the Blend, calling Pam:
A "vicious anti-Christian lesbian activist." (Concerned Women for America's radio show [9:15], 1/25/07)
"A nutty lesbian blogger." (MassResistance radio show [16:25], 2/3/07)
Pam's House Blend always seems to find these sick f*cks. The area of the country she is in? The home state of her wife? I know, they are everywhere. Pam just does such a great job of bringing them out into the light.

From Pink News:
The New Hampshire House yesterday rejected a measure aimed to extend discrimination provisions to trans residents after opponents dubbed it 'the bathroom bill'.
The bill would have allowed the words "gender identity" or "gender expression" to be added to current laws protecting from discrimination on the basis of sex, age, race, creed, colour, sexual orientation or religion.
However, it failed by a 15-vote margin.
State representative Ed Butler, who sponsored the bill, said it was "a simple little non-discrimination bill" which would prevent trans individuals from losing their homes and jobs on the basis of their trans status.
Opponents had cited issues of men entering women's bathrooms and increased rates of sexual attacks...
We beat the crossdressed/transgender predator meme in Gainesville, and lost to it in New Hampshire. Especially since the meme worked in New Hampshire, expect to see this meme used again and again until it stops working.
The meme appears to have traction with those who don't know that conservative "Christian" organizations can't point to any actual cases of crossdressed or transgender people committing predatory acts in the women's restroom. I believe the job of civil rights activists is to point this out wherever this meme is used.
And, don't just expect to see this crossdressed/transgender predator meme just used against trans civil rights legislation -- this meme is going to be used against civil rights legislation for the entire LGBT community...just as it was in Gainesville.
Assuredly, we'll see this meme used again with regards to the Employment Non-Discrimination Act (ENDA). |
