Blend-o-licious endorsements...

The Christian Civic League of Maine's Mike Hein calls Pam's House Blend:
"a leading source of radical homosexual propaganda, anti-Christian bigotry, and radical transgender advocacy."

He is "praying that Pam Spaulding will "turn away from her wicked and sinful promotion of homosexual behavior." (CCLM's web site, 10/15/07)

Ex-gay "Christian" activist James Hartline on Pam:
"I have been mocked over and over again by ungodly and unprincipled anti-christian lesbians."
(from "Six Years In Sodom: From The Journal Of James Hartline," 9/4/2006, written from the "homosexual stronghold" of Hillcrest in San Diego).

"Pam is a 'twisted lesbian sister' and an 'embittered lesbian' of the 'self-imposed gutteral experiences of the gay ghetto.'" -- 9/5/2008

Peter LaBarbera of Americans for Truth Against Homosexuality heartily endorses the Blend, calling Pam:

A "vicious anti-Christian lesbian activist."
(Concerned Women for America's radio show [9:15], 1/25/07)

"A nutty lesbian blogger."
(MassResistance radio show [16:25], 2/3/07)

Pam's House Blend always seems to find these sick f*cks. The area of the country she is in? The home state of her wife? I know, they are everywhere. Pam just does such a great job of bringing them out into the light.

Bill O'Reilly nearly takes out Geraldo over 'the brown menace'

by: Pam Spaulding

Thu Apr 05, 2007 at 22:00:00 PM EDT

I swear to god, you can almost sense the spittle flying out of the foaming mouth of Bill O'Reilly at Geraldo Rivera in this clip (via Oliver Willis). This isn't a debate about immigration and crime; this is O'Reilly coming completely unglued.
A young girl was tragically killed by a drunk driver. But this was not enough for O'Reilly. Instead, because the criminal was an illegal alien he added this incident to his ongoing crusade against the brown people. Luckily Geraldo was on the show and he - to his credit - called out O'Reilly's xenophobia for exactly what it was. This drove Bill O'Reilly insane.

I thought a vein was going to pop in his head.

I HATE agreeing with Geraldo!
But man, was that good video or what?

"If people let government decide which foods they eat and medicines they take, their bodies will soon be in as sorry a state as are the souls of those who live under tyranny." -- Thomas Jefferson

I never thought I'd say the words:
You go, Geraldo!

Not So Fast, Russ and OJD...
Like everyone on Fox News, they are actors acting and poseurs posing.  After the camera was turned off, they likely said, like the urban legend about the children's show host when he thought the mike was off, "That oughtta hold the little bastards."  It was, to me, as authentic as those idiotic TV wrestling matches.

=>The truth usually isn't pretty. Don't blame me for telling it.<=

Conspiracy Theories
No Chadster, sometimes conspiracy theories are just that, conspiracy theories. This is horrible PR for the O'Riley factor. Fox News wouldn't stage bad PR.

Think about it, O'Riley's outburst shatters any illusion that a moderate viewer might think that he is working from an altruistic, well thought out position and not a bigoted, paranoid position thus shattering his credibility on the subject. Remember: Fox News' target audience is not people who are afraid of brown people and know it, their target audience is people who are afraid of brown people and like to pretend it's for their own good.

Are We Talking About the Same Fox?
Samie, Bill O'Reilly would drink his own piss on camera if it increased his ratings.  Saying "horrible PR" for any Fox show is like saying "horrible PR" for Hitler.

Ding Ding, we have a winnah!
First to violate Godwin's Law, congratulations!  You win an all-expenses paid trip to a four-hundred star resort and six billion dollars in cash!

Never Heard of It 'Til Now
So I looked up Godwin's law, and it is awfully cute.  Well, then, if the name Hitler is too distracting, then subsitute Ann Coulter, Michael Jackson, Leona Helmsley, or anyone else who is not known for being terribly worried about bad publicity.

O'Reilly/Rivera poseurs? Yes, but...
I don't discount that both men are poseurs and carefully crafted media figures appearing on the right-wing corporate propaganda network... but...

If that's them acting, then screw Forest Whittaker, get these guys an Oscar™* and program them on my TiVo.

No, I don't think this was staged because Geraldo managed to drop a bomb of a talking point that I don't think anyone at FAUX wants heard.  "We LURE them here with the promise of jobs, in a country where we have virtually full domestic employment!" (paraphrase)

Geraldo initially was just parrying O'Reilly and pushing it toward the "it's the drunk driver, not the illegal immigration" angle, as if to avoid talking about the immigration problem and focus on the drunk driving.  But as O'Reilly becomes unglued and won't leave the immigration part alone, Geraldo's mucho macho Hispanic side won't let him pander to the FAUX scripted agenda, and he lets loose with the condemnation of the rich white men who thrive on the wet backs of Mexicans (y Guatemalans y Hondurans...) instead of demonizing the brown people who dare to work hard and make a better life for their family.

Another Illusion Shattered
Furthermore, all those hillbillies on Jerry Springer's show... the ones who have a terrible secret, find out the secret, and wind up in a brawl, and have to be separated---

Get your smelling salts ready... now sit down.  Take a deep breath, try to relax... here goes...

They are acting, too.

Yep - I agree
O'rielly and Heraldo are so chummy they practically have a domestic partnership going on.  My guess is that both of these idiots stood up afterwards and said, "I'd like to thank the academy..."  If O'liely was really that steamed, he would never have given heraldo the platform.  I mean, O'liely how many times has O'Liely simply cut the mike of people he disagrees with.

Not buying it.

[ Parent ]
wow
wow, I'll have to agree with you on that.

I thought I saw foam coming out of Bill's mouth.

[ Parent ]
Oh wow.
That was just crazy.  Absolutely crazy.  I wonder if just after the video ended Bill's head exploded...

Anyway, I thought that immigration enforcement was a responsibility of the federal government and not "the mayor, the police".

The Scanner Factor?
Now you have made me think of a really annoying movie.  :^(

My America includes LGBT families.

[ Parent ]
wow, you go Geraldo!
I never ever thought I'd say that. He just wouldn't let O'riledup shout him down with his obnoxious bigotry.

Wow, that has to be the first time I've enjoyed watching O'riledup in a clip.

Daddy, Papa and Me, two men, their daughter, creating a family and the politics of it all.

it's like Jerry Springer...
you know the NASCAR Republican audience that generally tunes in to Fox loves a good fight... And aren't O'Reilly's ratings tanking? He needs a little excitement on the show to kick it up a notch.

Steve

I love a good wing-nut cat fight...
Nothing makes me happier, or gives me more satisfaction than seeing two right-wing blow hards ripping each other apart.

Sad thing is, tomorrow, when O'Reilly is demonizing some other group of people (gays, liberals, Muslims, war protestors, people who say "Happy Holidays" etc), Geraldo will be right back to kissing his ass and agreeing with his every word.

I guess Geraldo doesn't like it so much when people like who look like HIM are on O'Reilly's chopping block.

Move over Rosie and Trump!
It is obvious that this was staged.

O'Reilly witnessed the ratings of the The View soar when Rosie was feuding with Trump. He's also seen Keith Olbermann take a climb due to their ongoing fights.

So, what could be better than having a fight between TWO FOX NOISE personalities? This way, the ratings will all go to their network.

When you look for the bad in mankind, expecting to find it, you surely will.

- Abraham Lincoln.

Equally Childish
Looks they both needed a time out.  Come back William Buckeley, American political discourse needs a grown-up.

It can get so ugly
when lovers have a public spat.  They will get over it and be back to "feelin the love" for each other again soon I'm sure of it.

Monster smackdown
Mothra meets Godzilla.  Or do I mean Dracula vs. Frankenstein?

"In order to maintain an untenable position, you have to be actively ignorant."  The Colbert Report

Y'know......
Geraldo can be full of himself at times like Billy boy O'Reilly, but Geraldo always always makes an excellent point, and can present the perfect arguement.

O'Reilly reminds me of that Talk Show host from "V-For Vendetta" who gets up on his Soap Box and bleets and bleets and bleets whinning like a baby to put his point on the table no matter how pathetic and assenine it may be.

Mad props for Geraldo.

I dunno
Call me naive. .  (ok, maybe so) but O'Reilly, if he was acting, damn near busted a blood vessel or so it seemed to me. If this was staged it was damned good 'pro wrestling' style staging.

And tonight, Olbermann gave Geraldo his "Best" Person of the Day Award for said performance. The world turned upside down - at least for a day.

Still it was great seeing someone take O'Reilly's shit and throwing it back at him. Geraldo came damn close to using the "F" word - fascist. Now THAT would have given Fox execs a coronary!
