Blend-o-licious endorsements...

The Christian Civic League of Maine's Mike Hein calls Pam's House Blend:
"a leading source of radical homosexual propaganda, anti-Christian bigotry, and radical transgender advocacy."

He is "praying that Pam Spaulding will "turn away from her wicked and sinful promotion of homosexual behavior." (CCLM's web site, 10/15/07)

Ex-gay "Christian" activist James Hartline on Pam:
"I have been mocked over and over again by ungodly and unprincipled anti-christian lesbians."
(from "Six Years In Sodom: From The Journal Of James Hartline," 9/4/2006, written from the "homosexual stronghold" of Hillcrest in San Diego).

"Pam is a 'twisted lesbian sister' and an 'embittered lesbian' of the 'self-imposed gutteral experiences of the gay ghetto.'" -- 9/5/2008

Peter LaBarbera of Americans for Truth Against Homosexuality heartily endorses the Blend, calling Pam:

A "vicious anti-Christian lesbian activist."
(Concerned Women for America's radio show [9:15], 1/25/07)

"A nutty lesbian blogger."
(MassResistance radio show [16:25], 2/3/07)

Pam's House Blend always seems to find these sick f*cks. The area of the country she is in? The home state of her wife? I know, they are everywhere. Pam just does such a great job of bringing them out into the light.

Open thread - GOP debate

by: Pam Spaulding

Tue Jun 05, 2007 at 20:05:09 PM EDT

Just turned on these clowns and Wolf is asking them about Don't Ask, Don't Tell. Giuliani thinks in a time of war it's inappropriate to lift the ban. What BS. So it's ok to have gang members and felons serving, but not qualified, law-abiding gays and lesbians.

Romney agrees with Rudy and calls it a "social experiment." McCain says he's proud of every person who is serving (I guess except for the homos, since it's ok to kick them out). He pawns it off on the military leaders again since, of course, they know best. Yawn.

Maybe easier
In April of 2003, I gave a short interview to Houston's "OutSmart" Magazine in which I said
...being gay, lesbian, or bi works with the Don?t Ask, Don?t Tell policy because a person?s sexual orientation isn?t one of the things that is readily apparent just by looking at them. Gender identity is another matter, however, because so much of it is tied to appearance, to gender presentation. It is almost impossible for transpersons to be themselves while in the military. While all LGBT people must officially remain in the closet while in the military, I truly believe that transgendered military personnel must remain in a much deeper and darker closet.

This was shameful!!!
What it showed was that glbt issues are a complete afterthought of no significance to these bozos. Not a single one of them, INCLUDING THE QUESTIONER BLITZER, knew the most basic elements of DADT. It has nothing to do with sexual conduct whatsoever, that is UCMJ 125.a (which they are also ignorant of because it strictly prohibits oral sex between men and woman too).

The whole ten minutes that Wolf and the idiots jawed back and forth on DADT, they were talking about some fantasy that doesn't even exist. By talking about conduct, conduct, conduct, they were actually accidentally supporting OVERTURNING DADT! CNN needs to follow up on this because on no other issue was everyone in the room totally ignorant of the most basic facts. It was stunning and enraging.

Not to sound like a GoOPer but...
I thought that this story out of Canada was interesting.  They discriminated against this woman because she's a woman (the drinking age in Montreal is 18 so she was old enough) and it sounds like she is/was an ally.  I can see their point a little but since this was a bar that anyone could walk into from the street and expect service and not a private club and if what the woman is saying are true I think that they are in the wrong.  Is it possible that they could have lost business if there was a woman sitting at the bar with her father?

My America includes LGBT families.

What about Mary Cheney?
I forgot to add: CNN and the other shallow questioners completely ignored the most obvious gay question - any that refers to Mary Cheney.

Q: Gentlemen, if Mary Cheney, an open and unrepentant lesbian, was to serve our military, how specifically would she be harming unit cohesion?

Q: Gentlemen, as an unrepentant and sexually active lesbian, Mary Cheney is literally embracing what you define as sinful. Should she be allowed to adopt an innocent and impressionable young child?

Q: Gentlemen, Mary Cheney is an admitted lesbian. She has openly chosen that lifestyle and is building a family with her lesbian sex partner Heather Poe. Do you believe that an employer can fire her at will due only to the fact that she is an admitted lesbian?

THANKS for NOTHING Republicans, et tu Miss Rudy?
McCain mentioned the Hispanic
names on the Viet Nam memorial, there are thousands of gays/lesbians on that memorial too! And on every other war memorial.
Republicans spit on every one of them.

"Romney agrees with Rudy and calls it a 'social experiment.'"
How about asking Brownback and Huckabee if they feel that way about the Mormon religion?

Just a thought.

It was funny
I was driving through Manchester on my way home listening to the debate and I had to chuckle.  We had some of the worst thunder and lightning that I have seen in a long time. I am in my car with lightning hitting all around while these guys are talking abortion and gays in the military. What apropriate sound affects.  All I needed was to see a bearded figure looking like Charlton Heston holding a stone tablet to be looking out of the black and ominous clouds.
