Blend-o-licious endorsements...

The Christian Civic League of Maine's Mike Hein calls Pam's House Blend:
"a leading source of radical homosexual propaganda, anti-Christian bigotry, and radical transgender advocacy."

He is "praying that Pam Spaulding will "turn away from her wicked and sinful promotion of homosexual behavior." (CCLM's web site, 10/15/07)

Ex-gay "Christian" activist James Hartline on Pam:
"I have been mocked over and over again by ungodly and unprincipled anti-christian lesbians."
(from "Six Years In Sodom: From The Journal Of James Hartline," 9/4/2006, written from the "homosexual stronghold" of Hillcrest in San Diego).

"Pam is a 'twisted lesbian sister' and an 'embittered lesbian' of the 'self-imposed gutteral experiences of the gay ghetto.'" -- 9/5/2008

Peter LaBarbera of Americans for Truth Against Homosexuality heartily endorses the Blend, calling Pam:

A "vicious anti-Christian lesbian activist."
(Concerned Women for America's radio show [9:15], 1/25/07)

"A nutty lesbian blogger."
(MassResistance radio show [16:25], 2/3/07)

Pam's House Blend always seems to find these sick f*cks. The area of the country she is in? The home state of her wife? I know, they are everywhere. Pam just does such a great job of bringing them out into the light.

The Pentagon 'homo bomb' project rises again

by: Pam Spaulding

Sun Jun 10, 2007 at 05:30:00 AM EDT

Several of you sent me the link to the CBS5 story by Hank Plante about the Pentagon confirming that it had plans to create a hormone-based bomb to turn enemy soldiers gay -- and presumably so horny that they would spend their time humping instead of fighting. This week, Pentagon officials confirmed to Plante that it had considered Homo Bomb project, but subsequently rejected it.

The strange thing about this story is that it's a couple of years old. Back in 2005, I blogged about the 1994 report Harassing, Annoying, and "Bad Guy" Identifying Chemicals. It was uncovered by The Sunshine Project, an organization that exposes research into chemical and biological weapons (and cited in the CBS5 report). It filed a Freedom of Information Act to make the document public.

In it, some of the outlandish proposals for non-lethal weapons to use against enemy forces included :
* a spray to inflict "severe and lasting halitosis";
* a chemical that would cause bees to behave more aggressively and sting them;
* a weapon that would make the enemy very sensitive to sunlight;
* and the aphrodisiac chemical designed to make enemy soldiers sexually irresistible to each other and cause widespread homosexual behavior (a "distasteful but completely non-lethal blow" to affect troop "discipline and morale").

These plans were part of a six-year project that would have cost $7.5 million of your tax dollars. Two years ago, Captain Dan McSweeney of the Joint Non-Lethal Weapons Directorate at the Pentagon said "none of the systems described in that [1994] proposal have been developed". Steve Ralls of Servicemembers Legal Defense Network (SLDN), said at the time, "It is a homophobic and delusional proposition for the Pentagon to assume a gay opponent is any less formidable than a straight one."

Civilian Use
Imagine if these weapons got into the wrong hands through some kind of black market.  We'd see all kinds of bad movies sequeling off of John Tucker Must Die and My Super Ex-Girlfriend and Desperate Housewives:

Ex- makes sure her heavy-into-tanning scumbag former boyfriend...get sun-burned before his major modeling shoot!!!

Where have all the honey bees gone?  They're heading to my bitch of a neighbor who slept with my husband: The Swarm III!

And then the shocking tell all: What Happens at Fort Dix Stays  at Fort Dix!!

"In order to maintain an untenable position, you have to be actively ignorant."  The Colbert Report

could this be used at Fox News studios?
If only somebody would set this off inside Fox News studios! That would be interesting.

Hi vjack
Long time no see in the blogosphere!  I haven't been posting at my place lately.  :-(

Recruitment?
Wait a minute. The wingnuts always accuse us of recruiting people into the homosexual lifestyle, but now we find out the military was considering a "weapon" that would make massive numbers of people gay?  Unbelieveable. Okay, it is believeable considering some of the incredibly stupid stuff our government has come up with.

Making enemy soldiers sexually irresistible to each other
It's very odd to me--and it reveals an entrenched homophobic mindset--that the Pentagonians would consider such technology to be a weapon of war.

Wouldn't it more obviously be a weapon of peace?  "War's over, boys!"

Gives new meaning to, "engage the enemy"

If I make sense? it was quite by accident.

Did they really write this?
The sex-bomb was to be a "distasteful but completely non-lethal blow".  Uh... where are Bevis and Butthead when you need them?

Huu-huuu, huu-huuu...

I'd love to know more
Maybe this is a minor point, but I'd like to know if this chemical was supposed to have a permanent effect or temporary.

Did they think that their horny bomb would distract soldiers temporarily - so we could kill them while they screw, I suppose - or was it supposed to alter their attractions for the rest of their lives?

I'm trying to get at the core of the heterosexist ignorance.  How bad is it?  Would they assume that one same sex act (or many of them while under the influence of this chemical) would cause these soldiers to be branded gay even if they had wives and they never had another same sex encounter again?

Contrast this to the story of Ted Haggard.  Many in the LGBT community did back flips about this guy being branded a closet case.  He even attempted to rehabilitate himself from his homosexual urges.  Would the soldiers exposed to this chemical need rehab to recover from the sex they had while under the influence?

I don't like the implications that people could be inflicted with 'gayness.'

pairing up
The hormonal weapon used on the enemy has their men pair up and KICK YOUR HET A$$ES!

AN ARMY OF LOVERS

Unexpected side effects?
Would it not be blackly comical if these geniuses went with these ideas only to find themselves faced with some really nasty consequences.

Like how about extremely light sensitive enemy troops who now need only sunscreen and decent shades to fight in the day while being capable of combat in the pitch dark like they were vampires or something. Adding to that they now fight with near suicidal ferocity to protect the ones they love from harm.

hormones as weapons
Long, long ago I recall hearing about an idea the CIA cooked up to use against Fidel Castro: slipping him estrogen, which (according to the masterminds of this) would make his beard fall out, thereby causing him to lose credibility - and eventually power.

Now, by 'long, long ago' I mean long enough ago for this 'plot' (assuming it was a legit story) to have ended up as a question on the Peter Marshall-Laul Lynde-era Hollywood Squares.  I was but a teen, but I already had a handle on the concept of transsexualism - though not on some of the finer points of the process.

Fast forward a few years...

I've actually begun my transition - and I'm learning what it *actually* takes to get rid of facial hair.

As I'm enduring a lengthy session of electrolysis, I'm thinking to myself, "What the F*** were those clowns in the CIA thinking???"
