The Christian Civic League of Maine's Mike Hein calls Pam's House Blend:
"a leading source of radical homosexual propaganda, anti-Christian bigotry, and radical transgender advocacy."
He is "praying that Pam Spaulding will "turn away from her wicked and sinful promotion of homosexual behavior."
(CCLM's web site, 10/15/07)
Ex-gay "Christian" activist James Hartline on Pam:
"I have been mocked over and over again by ungodly and unprincipled anti-christian lesbians."
(from "Six Years In Sodom: From The Journal Of James Hartline," 9/4/2006, written from the "homosexual stronghold" of Hillcrest in San Diego)."Pam is a 'twisted lesbian sister' and an 'embittered lesbian' of the 'self-imposed gutteral experiences of the gay ghetto.'" -- 9/5/2008
Peter LaBarbera of Americans for Truth Against Homosexuality heartily endorses the Blend, calling Pam:
A "vicious anti-Christian lesbian activist." (Concerned Women for America's radio show [9:15], 1/25/07)
"A nutty lesbian blogger." (MassResistance radio show [16:25], 2/3/07)
Pam's House Blend always seems to find these sick f*cks. The area of the country she is in? The home state of her wife? I know, they are everywhere. Pam just does such a great job of bringing them out into the light.

| I'm sure that most have heard something about Delcambre, Louisiana banning saggy pants. Here's how most of the coverage has gone (from a Lafayette TV station):
http://www.katc.com/...
"Delcambre Bans Saggy Pants
June 12, 2007 05:04 PM CDT
Monday night, Delcambre's town council voted to outlaw sagging pants that expose underwear. Men and women found in violation could be fined up to $500, or be sentenced to up to 6 months in jail.
Neighbors on both sides of the issue packed the small trailer the town is still using as a meeting hall after Hurricane Rita. Some residents worried the problem was being labeled as a problem only in the black community. Council members said the law will be enforced for all races and genders. The law goes into effect when the mayor signs the ordinance - which could be sometime this month.
Delcambre's new law goes beyond state indecency laws, which ban exposed private parts."
This, of course, doesn't reveal the actual operative language.
Let's just say that there's more to the ordinance than that. |
| KatRose :: Not Your Father's Anti-Crossdressing Ordinance: Saggy Pants, Anyone? |
| The website of a Boston television station (http://www.theboston...) provides a bit more info:
"The ordinance states, 'It shall be unlawful for any person in any public place or in view of the public to be found in a state of nudity, or partial nudity, or in dress not becoming to his or her sex, or in any indecent exposure of his or her person or undergarments, or be guilty of any indecent or lewd behavior.'"
There you have it: Its 2007, and we have a brand new anti-crossdressing ordinance (and its in a state that legally recognized transsexualism in 1968!) True, most of the older anti-crossdressing laws said 'not belonging to' as opposed to 'not becoming to.'
Sorry, but I'm not willing to trust the sterling representatives of this town who I saw on MSNBC today. The anti-crossdressing language was actually mentioned - and the response was that he (it was either the mayor or the town attorney) said he didn't think that's what the law would do.
Yeh...
That's the ticket (and under the ordinance, BTW, its a potential $500.00 ticket.)
The Boston item goes on:
"The clause about 'dress not becoming to his or her sex' doesn't forbid cross-dressing, Broussard said. 'A dress, I wouldn't find that obscene. As long as he covers himself and it's not too short.'"
Uh huh.
I guess I shouldn't complain too much about that comment; I imagine that if one single aspect of its legislative history will get it declared unconstitutional it will be that. Still, don't pee on me and tell me its raining anything but anti-crossdressing language. |
