The Christian Civic League of Maine's Mike Hein calls Pam's House Blend:
"a leading source of radical homosexual propaganda, anti-Christian bigotry, and radical transgender advocacy."

He is "praying that Pam Spaulding will "turn away from her wicked and sinful promotion of homosexual behavior." (CCLM's web site, 10/15/07)

Ex-gay "Christian" activist James Hartline on Pam:
"I have been mocked over and over again by ungodly and unprincipled anti-christian lesbians."
(from "Six Years In Sodom: From The Journal Of James Hartline," 9/4/2006, written from the "homosexual stronghold" of Hillcrest in San Diego).

"Pam is a 'twisted lesbian sister' and an 'embittered lesbian' of the 'self-imposed gutteral experiences of the gay ghetto.'" -- 9/5/2008

Peter LaBarbera of Americans for Truth Against Homosexuality heartily endorses the Blend, calling Pam:

A "vicious anti-Christian lesbian activist."
(Concerned Women for America's radio show [9:15], 1/25/07)

"A nutty lesbian blogger."
(MassResistance radio show [16:25], 2/3/07)

Pam's House Blend always seems to find these sick f*cks. The area of the country she is in? The home state of her wife? I know, they are everywhere. Pam just does such a great job of bringing them out into the light.

But it's not a Crusade

by: RadicalRuss

Thu Dec 21, 2006 at 18:25:15 PM EST

Our friends at BlueNC have tagged their Rep. Robin Hayes for this incredible quote:
"The war in Iraq has got to be won; it's being won." (A couple of months ago Hayes said that the rise in violence in Iraq was an indication that we're winning.)

Then comes the real kicker:

"Stability in Iraq ultimately depends on spreading the message of Jesus Christ, the message of peace on earth, good will towards men. Everything depends on everyone learning about the birth of the Savior."

First they called it a Crusade, until someone with a clue told them a little about Middle Eastern history.

Then they called it Operation Iraqi Liberation, until someone who could spell acronyms suggested Freedom instead.

Now we get this Christocrap from a Congressman. Naw, this won't further convince the Muslim world this is a war against Islam.

As an aside, is there anyone left on planet Earth, after 2,039 years, in this age of internets and television and radio and satellites, that doesn't know about the birth of Jesus Christ?

Funny
Since Islam, Chrisanity and and Judaism are basically all the same thing with minor differences. hell, Islam even has the same commandments as Christianity, and the Torah is the Old Testament of the Bible.

I don't see why the Taliban Christians and Muslims don't just form one big large religious fascist group. They could call it I dunno, Christlam, Islaminity.

Really though; all these crazy spouting of "Our saviour is better than yours, so nyah!" is so... retarded. Though, I can relatively understand it; it's just almost a whole, superiority complex of the whole "I'm saved so you're going to Hell! Ha ha!" can I should imagine, make someone feel big. Having a kind of certainty that you're great and wonderful is probably something everyone secretly wants, well, perhaps. 'Knowing' that you're going to go to a special place when you die, a glorious bliss for all eternity is obviously a very comforting thought. Therefore, you will want to keep this thought, and want to spread this certainty to others in the hopes that they might 'realise' this. And you'll want to do this at any cost.

To me, that seems to explain one type of Fundamentalism. But then, there's other groups that appear Fundamentalist on the outside; but are in denial and live in their own bubble. They probably don't even believe 99% of what they claim; but merely say it all to look big and cool. They're the ones who wish to look big and do so by trying to hurt others by making them 'small' - therefore giving themselves a false reality of being big and almost Godlike.

Wow, I just kept going. :P

That would be the "Trinity" but that username has already been selected. Thanks for the hat tip to BlueNC.

What you say
I did hear a rumor about some virgin birth but I'm not sure where I heard it.

yes
Now I remember. Thanks Lurleen!!

Virgin birth? Seen on the Internet:
Good News! Virgin Birth a Scientific Fact!

A Komodo dragon called Flora has surprised her keepers at Chester Zoo in northern England by laying viable eggs that are due to hatch next month. She has been bred in captivity and has never been kept with a male, British scientists say in the journal Nature. Kevin Buley, a reptile expert at the zoo and a co-author of the paper, said in a statement on Nature's Web site, "We were blown away when we realized what she'd done.

Britain: Pregnant Dragon Is a Father-to-be

The conclusion is inevitable and irrefutable: the Virgin Mary was a self-generating dragon lady (but you knew that already).

Dr. Gogetta Lubotamie, professor of neurology at the Zurich Insitutue of Biology responded to reporters today, stating that the Chester Zoo revelation "may help explain why Christian theology appeals to the primordial 'lizard brain' of the human specie."

Didn't South Park already cover that?
They had an episode on last night about the woodland creatures and the porcupine had a virgin birth of the Antichrist.

I don't know about South Park (don't watch it), but...
...The part in blockquote was from a real NYTimes article--check the link. The parts outside the blockquote were added. I saw this on the NYTImes gay rights message board.

So could this be the second coming?
or the birth of the anti-christ?

There, let them feed on that.

Parthenogenesis
Heya,

Virgin births have been a part of nature forever really, the term for it is parthenogenesis. It is something has been observed in "lower" animals, such as lizards, aphids, bees, fish, and birds... Because of the way it works, the offspring end up with a pair of the same sex chromosomes - which generally means (in mammals) the offspring are all female (some animals/insects don't work like this, and a pair of the same sex chomosomes makes the offspring male). So I'd expect that komodo dragon in the article is going to be the proud mother of three daughters. :)

I suppose it might be possible for this to occur in a human. If so, and if this is what happened with Mary of Biblical fame, then Jesus must have been female (because she'd have just two X chromosomes, since there was no male to provide the Y).

i've always suspected
that jesus, if he ever existed, was conceived by joseph oozing his charm a little too close to mary's miracle mosh. tab "a" need not be placed into slot "b" for fertilization to occur.

I'm saved!
Then Jesus was an FTM transexual?

If the fundies are right I'm so going to hell for this!

Only two X's?
(because she'd (Mary) have just two X chromosomes, since there was no male to provide the Y)

Not necessarily. There are humans who have been known to have XXY and XXYY combinations. They're rare, but they do exist and they can reproduce. And usually their bodies have predominantly female characteristics. Mary, if she existed, could have been one of these individuals.

[ Parent ]
XXY and XXYY combos
So if a human with an XXY or XXYY combo got together with a guy and the egg that was fertilized was a Y and the sperm was a Y what would a YY human look like? Chromagnum man? Chuck Norris? Jesus's General?

whoa
I think it's simplistic to say that the three major religions that came from the Middle East are basically the same. I don't know Islam, but I do know plenty about Judaism and Christianity (or the Roman Catholic version primarily) and yes, there are commonalities, but they have some very different world views, ideas about God, about sin, the nature of the human being, about the next world, and on and on. Then, of course, there is the role of Jesus. So yes, let's all get along, but that doesn't mean we have to blur our differences.

To Learn You About Mah Savior, Ah Must Kill You, Your Family . . .
Funny how these cracker jihadists are willing to wage their crusades against their infidels of choice from behind a microphone and NEVER a rifle.

This hump is a Congresswhore to boot? What a breathtaling, distinguished thinker, Christianist, and of course Patriot - at least since the Roman Emperor Caligula (not the one currently in residence at 1600) appointed the racehorse, Incitarsus as a Roman Senator.

"How many Bibles do you own Mr. Hayes? Whinny, whinny, Brrrrrrr.

I thought the election freed us from having to listen to these dolts. Wrong again.

i have this feeling
that if we convert them to christianity they will still be pissed at us and use christianity as the motivator for the violence.

Speaking of war,
it sounds like they're warming up the draft machinery.

And I'll be glad if they reinstate the draft, but only as long as there are no exceptions.

Well, maybe one: being gay.

Wanna guess how many Young Gay Republican Clubs would appear across the country?

ah, yes, the draft
Yes, they're doing a draft "exercise" to determine if the system can be effective. I've been warming up my potbelly just in case they need stoves.

Geez! Is there something in the water along the mid-Atlantic?
This guy sounds remarkably similar to the Virginia Rep. who thinks we should stop all immigration because if we don't more Muslims will be elected to Congress. Ignoring the fact that the one Muslim who has been elected was born in Detroit.

Graham
Does anyone have the source for Lindsay Graham recently saying that the war without terror is a war without end, because we cna't capture cities or sink ships? Pretty frightening and Orwellian.

Military Christianists
Of course it's a crusade!
Our country is entrenched in Bush's Holy War against Islam. The Pentagon has been infiltrated by Military Christianists, who use the uniform to proselytize & admit putting loyalty to country third on the list. How you have ever heard of the Christian Embassy? This video is truly disturbing.

Google Video: http://video.google....

From WaPo:
"A military watchdog group is asking the Defense Department to investigate whether seven Army and Air Force officers violated regulations by appearing in uniform in a promotional video for an evangelical Christian organization. In the video, much of which was filmed inside the Pentagon, four generals and three colonels praise the Christian Embassy, a group that evangelizes among military leaders, politicians and diplomats in Washington. Some of the officers describe their efforts to spread their faith within the military."
