Blend-o-licious endorsements...

The Christian Civic League of Maine's Mike Hein calls Pam's House Blend:
"a leading source of radical homosexual propaganda, anti-Christian bigotry, and radical transgender advocacy."

He is "praying that Pam Spaulding will "turn away from her wicked and sinful promotion of homosexual behavior." (CCLM's web site, 10/15/07)

Ex-gay "Christian" activist James Hartline on Pam:
"I have been mocked over and over again by ungodly and unprincipled anti-christian lesbians."
(from "Six Years In Sodom: From The Journal Of James Hartline," 9/4/2006, written from the "homosexual stronghold" of Hillcrest in San Diego).

"Pam is a 'twisted lesbian sister' and an 'embittered lesbian' of the 'self-imposed gutteral experiences of the gay ghetto.'" -- 9/5/2008

Peter LaBarbera of Americans for Truth Against Homosexuality heartily endorses the Blend, calling Pam:

A "vicious anti-Christian lesbian activist."
(Concerned Women for America's radio show [9:15], 1/25/07)

"A nutty lesbian blogger."
(MassResistance radio show [16:25], 2/3/07)

Pam's House Blend always seems to find these sick f*cks. The area of the country she is in? The home state of her wife? I know, they are everywhere. Pam just does such a great job of bringing them out into the light.

Rudy drop kicks gays again to cater to The Base

by: Pam Spaulding

Wed Aug 15, 2007 at 11:15:00 AM EDT

I guess the 2008 race is a big switch for the GOP -- it will not be able to rely on the old "flip-flop" fiddle that was played against Kerry when you've got two winners like Mitt and Rudy today falling all over themselves with multiple switches of positions to court The Base. (Boston Globe):
A campaign aide told the Globe this weekend that Giuliani favors a much more modest set of rights for gay partners than civil union laws in effect in four states offer.

Giuliani has described himself as a backer of civil unions and is frequently described that way in news reports. But he began distancing himself from civil unions in late April, when his campaign told The New York Sun that New Hampshire's new law goes too far because it is "the equivalent of marriage," which he has always opposed for gays.

Giuliani's aides offered little explanation of what specific rights he would support for same-sex couples.

What Giuliani did say in April is that he supports the domestic partnership law model that was set up in NY, which created a DP registry that assisted same-sex and opposite sex couples obtain partner benefits. And he said this about it before his latest conversion.
"Marriage should be a man and a woman...I think that the domestic partnership legislation in NY has worked very, very well. I think that's a good way to deal with it, and I think that would be a good model for other states to have. Some places call them domestic partnerships, some states call it civil unions, and I think that would be the best way to deal with it.
The ridiculous inconsistency of his stance on this issue is that he's been a states' rights advocate, but is now bleating about the horror of New Hampshire and other states deciding to offer civil unions. So which civil rights and benefits of marriage does he support for gays and lesbians? Who knows -- what we do know is the pandering has no limit.
"It's really disappointing he's stepped back from his position on civil unions," said Joe Tarver, spokesman for the Empire State Pride Agenda, a group that advocates for gay rights in New York state that worked with and against Giuliani on a number of issues during his eight years as mayor.

Calling the former mayor's shifting stance "pretty un-Giuliani-like," Tarver said: "It's quite obvious he's playing to the people whose votes he needs to get the Republican nomination."

And so who will the Log Cabinettes support in 2008, now that all of the candidates are either clearly anti-gay, or in Giuliani case, running away as fast as he can after drop kicking gays (today, anyway).

H/t, Towleroad.

Also:
* Listen to lying adulterer Giuliani on OutQ radio supporting civil unions
* Giuliani now opposes civil unions
* Will the real Rudy please stand up?
* Rudy's civil union flip-flop doesn't wash with the Freepi

Not Surprising
Rudy's flip-flop on civil unions should not be a surprise to anyone. He has always been his number one cause and will gladly stab any constituency in the back if he thinks he can get more votes elsewhere.

Backstabber
I bet the two guys who let Rudy shack up with them are scribbling this asshole's name from their Christmas card list this year.  Or they should be doing so.

US going to hell
in a handbasket if it starts we start taking marriage advice from Giuliani.  How many marriages is he up to now?  He is so greedy.  More for him none for us.

Californian Republican lament

I am pondering sitting out the 2008 Presidential election since all the Republicans are now disappointments, but I do not want to give up my party registration.

Yes, the base may help you get the nomination. However the Republican base will not help the nominee win the election in November.

I am likely to toss my vote to Duncan Hunter in the Republican Primary so Rudy, Mitt nor Fred Thompson would not get my vote. Great idea for a protest vote.

I am expecting a Democratic Party win in 2008.

Rudy Drives The Bus
Can you feel it yet?

2008 REALITY
Our lowest rated candidate Kucinch, could skip NAKED up Pennsylvania Avenue with Chavez and Rosie, performing third trimester abortions and harvesting Terri Schaivo's stemm cells...(did I mention burning a flag?)
