I like that trick about believing donors will be rewarded in heaven.  By the way, I feel God wants me to move to Club Med for a couple years.  Any money I can receive to accomplish this will be, I believe, rewarded in heaven.

How convenient. 

On the other hand, if he were honest with himself and the world, and were pursuing reality-based therapy, I'd consider making a contribution myself.

If any supporters need a tax deduction for their gift, they can mail it to Families With a Mission at P.O. Box 63125, Colorado Springs, CO 80962. The supporters would need to write their check to "Families With A Mission" and put a separate note on it that it is for the Haggard family, then Families With a Mission will mail us 90% of the funds for support and use 10% for administrative costs.

Sounds like money laundering to me.  Or maybe a conspiracy to defraud the government and/or tax evasion.  Is  Ted really a tax exempt charity?  Obviously not.  Somebody should complain to the Feds. 

What are his job qualifications?  Educated at Oral Roberts U.  Hmm.

Lets face it with some viagra and a rerun of some old hooker sessions in the head it would be posisble to shag anything - even the poor fool of a wife.  Particularly when the 'earning power' and 'dinner on the table' was at risk.

The Dream Center is absolutely the right place for these Haggard beggars.  The sad thing is there is probably people stupid enough to fall for it all.

   For a long time now, I've had the privilege of hanging out with the folks at ExGayWatch and getting to know Wayne Besen even better.

I have reached out to those who consider themselves free of homosexuality. It took a while, but the conclusions I came to was the attention ex gays crave. The chronic and almost addictive need for validation of their heterosexual AFFECTATION. They look to have back patting and medals for doing something most heterosexuals really don't think about so much or care about asserting in a way I think is a CARICATURE of heterosexual life.

It's the weirdest thing I've ever seen. And over and over again, the loudest ex gays say they lived a life of promiscuity, or prostitution, drugs and other issues that stem from low self esteem and repression. Which could happen to anyone.

As a straight woman who has no agenda whatsoever to change a gay person, I find their activity almost comically pathetic. I am, as many gay people are...comfortable in my sexuality.

That's as it should be. With ex gays, there is this affect of having been at one extreme of sexual irresponsibility to what they consider the OTHER extreme of moral goodness.

On the one hand, if I ask an ex gay, what they think their life would have been like had they been accepted as gay. Or why aren't their more black gay males because of the high incidence of fatherless homes among black children. Or why do so many ex gays become the center of attention as ministers in their own ministries, as opposed to just living quietly without all the adulation? Not a  single one has answered, and have actively become hostile towards me.

Hey, if THEY aren't comfortable in their sexuality, that's fine. But they've politicized wanting OTHER gay people to feel that way, so all bets are off about how benevolent and comforting their motives are.

Frankly, a world full of people like them, or all heterosexuals and no transgendered people would bore the hell out of me. And I don't especially appreciate these ex gay minstrel shows with about as much credibility that a white male could wear blackface and call himself a black person.

The gay people who finally came into their own, and rejected the ex gay lives they tried to lead are much more who I'd trust and respect and understand. And they do lead far more modest and committed lives.

   And if all the gay folks turned, this ignorant world would still be in the dark about gay people and the truth about their lives. None of us would have the opportunity for illumination on that. And THAT would be the real tragedy.

One would think that the IRS and the US Attorney's Office would be interested in the disbursment of funds from 'Families with a Mission'.  Oh, never mind...

It is illegal for a charity to pass on donations to specified clients like that. AND: the charity is no longer registered in Colorado. AND the guy who runs it, Paul Huberty, is a CONVICTED SEX OFFENDER, in Hawaii. AND he failed to register as one when he moved to Colorado, as the law requires.

I have a feeling a world of hurt is about to descend on the Haggard and Huberty Show. These guys are con artists, pure and simple every time.

...so let's just say that Ted Haggard is a FLAMER and always has been. Any Christian who could listen to him preach, skipping about the stage shouting Hay! and not say ' this man is a closet case' is so stupid, so blind, that their faith is automatically undermined by their dumbness. Some boys can'y hide it but they don't usually end up fronting evangelical churches.
