The Christian Civic League of Maine's Mike Hein calls Pam's House Blend:
"a leading source of radical homosexual propaganda, anti-Christian bigotry, and radical transgender advocacy."

He is "praying that Pam Spaulding will "turn away from her wicked and sinful promotion of homosexual behavior." (CCLM's web site, 10/15/07)

Ex-gay "Christian" activist James Hartline on Pam:
"I have been mocked over and over again by ungodly and unprincipled anti-christian lesbians."
(from "Six Years In Sodom: From The Journal Of James Hartline," 9/4/2006, written from the "homosexual stronghold" of Hillcrest in San Diego).

"Pam is a 'twisted lesbian sister' and an 'embittered lesbian' of the 'self-imposed gutteral experiences of the gay ghetto.'" -- 9/5/2008

Peter LaBarbera of Americans for Truth Against Homosexuality heartily endorses the Blend, calling Pam:

A "vicious anti-Christian lesbian activist."
(Concerned Women for America's radio show [9:15], 1/25/07)

"A nutty lesbian blogger."
(MassResistance radio show [16:25], 2/3/07)

Pam's House Blend always seems to find these sick f*cks. The area of the country she is in? The home state of her wife? I know, they are everywhere. Pam just does such a great job of bringing them out into the light.

LaBarbera's fixation on Bush's comments about Mary Cheney

by: Pam Spaulding

Thu Dec 28, 2006 at 06:00:00 AM EST

Does Porno Pete ever rest? He simply cannot let go of this issue. Take a look at his essay, What's Behind Bush's Political Correctness on Mary Cheney? Reading this, you'd think that Bush was also breaking out the disco ball for a big old homo party.
The media are reporting Bush's comment to People magazine: "I think Mary is going to be a loving soul to her child. And I'm happy for her."Seeking to downplay the hubbub, White House spokesman Tony Snow actually made it worse when he was asked at a press briefing if the President still believes "that children who are raised by gay and lesbian parents are at a disadvantage." Snow said:
"He does not make comments on that, and nor will I." Snow added that the President still believes in the ideal of traditional marriage as the best environment for raising children, but "he believes that Mary Cheney's child will, in fact, have loving parents."
Note the perfectly PC, "nonjudgmental" tenor of Snow's dodge. Shouldn't pro-family Americans who helped re-elect Mr. Bush expect a bit more than this on a matter that strikes at the core of what a family is?
He's appalled at Bush's tepid remarks; Peter feels betrayed yet again by the Chimperor and can't figure out what is happening -- the White House is simply overrun with those nasty homosexualists...

President Bush has been too timid about using his Bully Pulpit to promote pro-family values, but occasionally he stumbles and uses it to advance the opposite. In this case, he could have declined comment altogether or, better, used this situation as a teaching moment to reaffirm the natural superiority of the God-ordained family.

Maybe the latter is asking too much of Mr. Bush given his relationship with the Cheneys, but I do wonder why a president who talks so openly about his Christian faith was unprepared or unwilling to apply it logically to this touchy situation. Assuming that as an evangelical Christian, Mr. Bush believes homosexual practice is sinful, are we to believe that this man who faced down Islamic radicalism and launched the War on Terror is afraid to say what he really believes about lesbians having children to be raised in homes that are fatherless by design?

...The whole Mary Cheney-baby episode typifies how the "gay" agenda advances in our emotionally-driven culture. The personal becomes political, and "open and proud gays" use their relationships with family members, friends and co-workers to persuade them to embrace behaviors with which they once disagreed - or at least go silent about them. This is the goal of homosexual activists' "coming out" strategy, which is brilliant in its manipulation of human nature.

And for all of you out there who have compared Mary's and Heather's pregnancy in any way, shape or form to that of infertile couples, PP sets you straight, so to speak.
Already, I can hear homosexual activists comparing Cheney's case to that of infertile married couples using artificial insemination to create a family, but that would be like justifying homosexual adoption by pointing to normal, mom-and-dad adoptions. Regardless of what you believe about artificial insemination, at least when heterosexuals are involved, the child will have a mom and dad - recreating the natural, as opposed to subjecting innocent children to the social experiment of same-sex parenting.
Jeeeeeeebussss.

In other PP news, he's got a bug up his posterior over Chevron's decision to offer $1000 scholarships to LGBT students and allies at the University of Colorado's School of Engineering who support equality efforts.

It's a shocking thing when you come to the point where America is going to have affirmative action based on affiliation with homosexual practices," says the activist. According to LaBarbera, the practice of affirming homosexuality is everywhere -- from the educational and corporate worlds to the political realm. "America is becoming a society that is rewarding people for practicing homosexual sin, essentially -- and it's incumbent upon Christians to speak up and say how wrong that is," he adds. The Americans for Truth spokesman says a society cannot be healthy when it rewards people for what he describes as "unhealthy and immoral behavior."

" reaffirm the natural superiority " - this is where he makes his money
playing to those who need an inferior "them" so that "we" can feel more superior.

He understands that he's got a few more years to milk this cow, then the cash flow dries up.  At that point what will he do for a living?  Come out of the closet, do the talk shows and write a book about how the homo trinity (the Devil, the Gay and the Agenda)finally beat down his resistance?  It's all about the dollars.

"...the natural superiority of the God-ordained family"?
The phrase is oxymoronic. If it's "God-ordained", it is by definition unnatural.

Holy shi'ite! The right-wingers are engaging in unnatural acts!

It's SSSsssuper-Natural
"God-ordained"  Actually, Marriage has been around a lot longer than "God" has been worshiped.  These Fundies fail to understand that Marriage has been in almost all cultures around the world regardless of their diety worship and that many practiced same sex marriage.  Some were temporary, and some were permanent.  But try getting that past a fundie's ear-drums.

"But try getting that past a fundie's ear-drums."
Funny!

So, what's Petey's story?
Is he a father?

Or is he one of those arbiters of normalcy like Coulter, who's an ultra-sexualized, hair-flipping spinster, like Limbaugh, who's a serial adulterer, or like Savage, who's ex-gay and is now a hate-gays-for-pay?

I can't imagine being married to him with his fixation on gay people.  Would he whisper heterosupremist diatribes into his wife's ear pre-coitus?

And since he's all about procreation, I assume there's no oral sex in his bed, since that's non-procreative.  And if he has a wife, there's no reason to suck on her titties, since that doesn't fertilize her.  Heck, there's no reason to even kiss.  In his casting, it's in and out.  It's wham, bam, thank you, mommy!

What?
Doesn't LaBabs realize the immaculate conception of "the other Mary"?

Also, where was LaBabs when...

-celebrities got married and divorced within a year?
-even Muslims are allowed by the courts to get married in the US?  People like LaBabs are also vehemently anti-Muslim, but do not mind them getting married without the ordination of the "Christian God".

LaBabs is just picking certain fights.

The "experiment" is successful!
I love it when Daddy Dobson and PP talk about the "social experiment of same-sex parenting" because it takes them at least halfway down the road to defeat for their viewpoint among more mainstream Americans.  If gay and lesbian parenting is a "social experiment" then it is proving to be a successful one.  As more and more of us are out, particularly as parents (and believe me, there really is no closet when you have kids), straight America comes to see us as pretty decent parents.  Particularly when straight America sees us fostering and adopting kids who have been born drug-addicted or HIV+, or have been sexually abused or beaten regularly by their hetero parents.  Go ahead, Pete, call it an "experiment," because we are showing every day that gays and lesbians provide caring, loving homes for children just as straight couples can.

Puh-leeze. . .are we seriously supposed to believe that
Porno Petey is a role model for a good parent? The man with the alleged library of delicious gay porn, a penchant for wearing leather chaps to Mr. International Leather festivals, and someone with a religious allegiance to visiting the gay bath houses?

So what exactly are his children supposed to think about Pete's occupation as they grow up? That he is a leather chap-wearin' crusader for the white baby Jesus who obsesses over the imagined sexual activities of others?

Out of touch with themselves
"...The whole Mary Cheney-baby episode typifies how the "gay" agenda advances in our emotionally-driven culture. The personal becomes political, and "open and proud gays" use their relationships with family members, friends and co-workers to persuade them to embrace behaviors with which they once disagreed - or at least go silent about them. This is the goal of homosexual activists' "coming out" strategy, which is brilliant in its manipulation of human nature."

I love this.  It's a "manipulation of human nature" to actually relate to people as people instead of as an abstraction.  I'm sure that this is what Jesus expects of his followers: treating other people as abstractions, and not actually viewing them through the lens of real relationships with them.  These folks are so out of touch, they don't even understand their own religion any longer...
