Blend-o-licious endorsements...

The Christian Civic League of Maine's Mike Hein calls Pam's House Blend:
"a leading source of radical homosexual propaganda, anti-Christian bigotry, and radical transgender advocacy."

He is "praying that Pam Spaulding will "turn away from her wicked and sinful promotion of homosexual behavior." (CCLM's web site, 10/15/07)

Ex-gay "Christian" activist James Hartline on Pam:
"I have been mocked over and over again by ungodly and unprincipled anti-christian lesbians."
(from "Six Years In Sodom: From The Journal Of James Hartline," 9/4/2006, written from the "homosexual stronghold" of Hillcrest in San Diego).

"Pam is a 'twisted lesbian sister' and an 'embittered lesbian' of the 'self-imposed gutteral experiences of the gay ghetto.'" -- 9/5/2008

Peter LaBarbera of Americans for Truth Against Homosexuality heartily endorses the Blend, calling Pam:

A "vicious anti-Christian lesbian activist."
(Concerned Women for America's radio show [9:15], 1/25/07)

"A nutty lesbian blogger."
(MassResistance radio show [16:25], 2/3/07)

Pam's House Blend always seems to find these sick f*cks. The area of the country she is in? The home state of her wife? I know, they are everywhere. Pam just does such a great job of bringing them out into the light.

Quote of the day -- a hand-wringing GOP operative

by: Pam Spaulding

Wed Aug 29, 2007 at 09:30:00 AM EDT

Bring out the tiny violin for Republican strategist Scott Reed. Today he said this to the NYT about the Larry Craig debacle:
"The real question for Republicans in Washington is how low can you go, because we are approaching a level of ridiculousness. You can't make this stuff up. And the impact this is having on the grass-roots around the country is devastating. Republicans think the governing class in Washington are a bunch of buffoons who have total disregard for the principles of the party, the law of the land and the future of the country...I'm a little afraid to say anything, because you don't know what happens tomorrow. That Vitter thing, that's like ancient history now."
Don't worry, Scott. We'll make sure that these stories aren't ancient history. Another snippet from the article is a knee-slapper:
Still, there is a sort of "here we go again" sense among Republicans these days, especially since news of the Craig arrest broke on Monday afternoon. It is tough enough being in the minority, weighed down by the burden of the war in Iraq. Now Republicans have an even more pressing task: keeping their party from being portrayed not just as hypocritical and out of touch with the values of people they represent, but also as a laughingstock -- amid headlines like "Senator's Bathroom Bust," which ran all Tuesday afternoon on CNN. The story also ran at the top of all the network evening newscasts on Tuesday.

well, perhaps
it's time to re-assess the "principles of the party", and focus on competently managing the government.  nothing separates the grassroots from the mainstream in the republican party, except a penchant for even further theocratic leanings in this country.

The gays stole my lunch money

Let 'em . . .

. . . feel the love, just as we have under them for the last six years. And someone better tell Craig that "feel the love" does not mean, in any way, "touch the pee-pee at the next urinal" cuz that kinda thing is just gross.

I love it when Karma balances out the universe.

Craig - the High Moral Authority - brings more well-earned shame.  Meanwhile, people like Pam and Julien (and even me) remain with our partners and touch nobody else's naughty bits and the GOPers claim we're the end of civilizations.

Here's hoping they get *SO* much more of what they deserve!

Jeez

Maybe they could just get over the fact that they have gays and lesbians in their party, and stop being ashamed of it.  A number of them, so it would seem.  Hrmmm...big tent, and all that jazz.

Cruising restrooms is not the best strategy for staying down low, not if your face is recognizable...and really, why should anyone have to stay down low?

<>They need to GTFU.

Hate stops a beating heart.

Pain
I "feel your pain" Scott!

And it tickles too!!

GOP lost control of the media
Hooray.  About time.  Now CNN is reporting the truth, except maybe Wolf Blitzer.  I have a feeling he will always be a GOP apologist, like when he backed down about Mary Cheney after papa bear Cheney growled at him.

Make alot of noise. Life is short.

great
did you just inadvertently insult the bear community? :)

Its interesting how the media is treating this

If you check out Media Matters for America you'll see the reaction.

Faux News is treating as if a group of evil bloggers are hunting down republicans to get them in trouble. (forgetting of course these people are doing this of there own accord, the bloggers arn't forcing them to do these things.)

Also people are defending him?!?

See Wayne Besen's Column today
Wayne Besen summed it all up so nicely today. Just go read his column today if you haven't already. I have nothing to add.
