the SD Family Policing Council uses the LaBarbera approach and reviews each and every video title produced by LodgeNet.  This way they can speak from experience when they say "I mean, the worst of the worst type of hardcore pornography".  This is why I always am careful to wash my hands after shaking the hand of a christianist.  I am curious, and I hope someone from the Council will elaborate, just what constitutes the 'worst' and the 'best' of the collection?

Phil Burress you will note is (unfortunately) from my home state.  He is a well know ass whose influence wanes by the hour.  He is an anti porn zealot who doth protest too much, as he openly admits he is on this jihad because he was an "addict" who couldn't stop looking at it and jacking off.  Evidently he has to ply his trade out of town these days.

Back here, the fundies likewise talk a big game about porn, but the truth is that if you reached out to take porn away from their parishioners and the local rednecks you'd pull back a bloody stump.

 I'm inclined to assume that Burress is referring to production quality of these movies.  It's the only category I can think of where in-room hotel porn might qualify as "worst of the worst."

Yeah, I seriously doubt...

I seriously doubt they are running German scheiss flicks or snuff films in SD hotel rooms.  Because the usual preference for pneumatically enhanced bleached blondes you see all over the heartland, I doubt they are gutsy enuff even to run the other preference that might be in evidence up there, which might be termed "animal husbandry".
