Really incredible.

I don't understand this type and level of hate at all.  It's difficult to believe that this is kind of hate is found in the U.S. in 2007, yet there it is for us to see and read.

Nazi Lowriders

This neo-Nazi gang has a strong presence in my local area. They are basically a prison gang that now has a lot of foot soldiers on our streets. They consider killing a person of color or a homosexual to be a badge of honor.

One of them (or a wanna be) recently kidnapped a Mexican day laborer and tried to beat him to death. Fortunately, the man got ahold of a pipe and was able to defend himself. But, he sustained serious injuries.

Tony Snow is full of shit.

Tony Snow is, like the demented warlord whose avatar he once was, a master of avoiding even the slightest hint of duty or responsibility. Bill White

is an asshole with a serious violent criminal record in Mongomery County, Maryland, and a history of confinement in a mental hospital for suicidal threats.  I know this as I have read the actual cases with my own eyeballs - this is knowledge, not information.  He has a pattern of trying to infiltrate groups and subvert them; his style is that of an outrageously aggressive asshole.  I have eaten lunch in an Italian restaurant with him and 30 others  with a political group I was involved with before his true identity became known.  He will pretend to be a socialist, a libertarian, a Nazi, probably a Scientologist.

A truly nasty individual.

This is a good thing

Whether most would like to think that racism in this country is "beneath the surface" or nonexistant, it is surely alive and well, and having it exposed even further in Jena is a good thing. 

It's terrible that these messages would be out there, but that's the country we live in.  I'm sick of race going undiscussed in America.

It certainly has been neglected in the public discourse, and has taken the opportunity to once again expand operations. In a nation with a healthy collective psyche, these asinine neo-Nazis would be laughed right out of existence. The same thing goes for that nasty little homunculus Fred Phelps. That they are not is an indication that someone is paying them enough positive attention to keep them going. More than once I have briefly thought some individual was a gifted satirist (Phelps for one) only to learn that they were dead serious. And we would never have heard of them if there weren't a lot of fellow travelers out there making it worth their while.

I've seen related

stories on Yahoo and CNN news today. I want to hope that making more people aware that, yes, this kind of hate is alive and well in the US will lessen the hate.  But, awareness combined with a "not in my backyard" mentality don't amount to much change.
