The Christian Civic League of Maine's Mike Hein calls Pam's House Blend:
"a leading source of radical homosexual propaganda, anti-Christian bigotry, and radical transgender advocacy."

He is "praying that Pam Spaulding will "turn away from her wicked and sinful promotion of homosexual behavior." (CCLM's web site, 10/15/07)

Ex-gay "Christian" activist James Hartline on Pam:
"I have been mocked over and over again by ungodly and unprincipled anti-christian lesbians."
(from "Six Years In Sodom: From The Journal Of James Hartline," 9/4/2006, written from the "homosexual stronghold" of Hillcrest in San Diego).

"Pam is a 'twisted lesbian sister' and an 'embittered lesbian' of the 'self-imposed gutteral experiences of the gay ghetto.'" -- 9/5/2008

Peter LaBarbera of Americans for Truth Against Homosexuality heartily endorses the Blend, calling Pam:

A "vicious anti-Christian lesbian activist."
(Concerned Women for America's radio show [9:15], 1/25/07)

"A nutty lesbian blogger."
(MassResistance radio show [16:25], 2/3/07)

Pam's House Blend always seems to find these sick f*cks. The area of the country she is in? The home state of her wife? I know, they are everywhere. Pam just does such a great job of bringing them out into the light.

Bible beater Sandy Rios: 'King and King' fairy tale is homosexual propaganda

by: Pam Spaulding

Mon Oct 01, 2007 at 09:00:00 AM EDT

Justabill sent me this unbelievable clip of former Concerned Women head Sandy Rios, who now fronts some outfit called the Culture Campaign. She went on Hannity and Colmes to protest the fact that the benign fairy tale book King and King is being used in schools. It portrays two princes falling and love and marrying.

RIOS: The problem is not tolerance, the problem is acceptance. They are propagandizing and indoctrinating our children.

COLMES: What are you afraid of?

RIOS: I'm not afraid Alan; our God is greater than anything that can be taught at the public school.

COLMES: What's the worst thing that could happen?

RIOS: Homosexuals will say to you when you talk about whether they were born or not, they will say "did you think I chose to be this way?"  Because the disease and depression problems in that community are very great so why in the world would we propagandize this to our children?

***

OK. That last statement is completely insane - how does that explain all the straight folks on antidepressants? In 2004, nearly 150 million prescriptions were written for antidepressants in the U.S. -- I guess that's an awful lot of gay folks, Rios. Our propagandizing is obviously working.

Even if that WERE true,

and of course it's not, does little Miss Knickers in a Twist ever think maybe bullshit like she dishes out might be WHY 'so many gay people' are on anti depressants? Gee, maybe dealing with asshats like her day in and day out, everywhere you turn, might be a tad saddening. I know it saddens and exhausts me. I've been telling my kids same sex and opposite sex fairy tales since they were babies. When they asked for a story, it was always a toss up whether I would tell them the traditional fairy story, or switch some genders around. That kind of fake moral outrage drives me insane.

What's the worst thing that could happen, Sandy? Your oppressive pearl clutching and disapproval contributes to the culture of hate and intolerance that feeds astronomical LGBT teen suicide rates. That, Sandy, is the worst thing that could happen when you open your yap.

I love this:

"OK. That last statement is completely insane - how does that explain all the straight folks on antidepressants? In 2004, nearly 150 million prescriptions were written for antidepressants in the U.S. -- I guess that's an awful lot of gay folks, Rios. Our propagandizing is obviously working."

Hannity says, "You liberals raise your kids your way."

I'll finish his thought: "We're raise our kids to be homobigots."

Hannity and his kind will raise their children,
Not only to be blind of reality and homobigots, but to be hateful and intolerant of anyone who does not believe in their god.

If I make sense? it was quite by accident.

I think I
will now go out and buy the book to add to my gay literature library.
I'm sure the authors and publisher appreciate the free PR.
Way to go Sandy!!!!!

Exactly, Ailei

These people never stop to think that it is precisely BECAUSE of them that people like me suffer from depression. They are the CAUSE--or at least part of the cause. Being gay doesn't depress me. Being perecuted to death because I am different DOES depress me.

And being persecuted by others because they have THEIR heads up their collective asses with regard to rational thought makes me even more depressed. They hate people like us because they adhere to a disease of their own: their religion. And unlike being gay, that IS a choice.

They choose to believe some claptrap BS written over 2000 years ago is the word of some made up supreme being. They choose to interpret these writing literally, instead of metaphorically or historically. And they choose to use these sick beliefs to HURT others.

And then when they have accomplished the task of hurting others, they sit back and shout, "Look! She's depressed! See? I told you being gay was bad!!"

Religion, especially religion turned into hatred for others, is the mental illness in this scenario, not the depression. Gay people like me that suffer from depression are exhibiting a normal response to negative stimuli.

A society without religion is like a maniac without a chainsaw.

I LOVE that Sandy Rios is talking about Marriage...

How many marriages has she had? Why doesn't someone remind her that according to her ilk, gay people are talked about, what 2 or 3 times when divorce and staying married is talked about hundreds of times.

Poor Sandy, she had to get out of the CWA because of the men.  She is also a good friend of Alan Keyes too.

So, Rios is an adulterer by her book, the Bible?

And she's flaunting her cleavage on tv?

:-)
You comment is funny!

[ Parent ]
cleavage
yeah, don't teach the children that gay couples do exist.  i'd like to teach my kids that skanky-boob-shirt females don't exist either, but that would be an equal lie, wouldn't it?  luckily for her, there's not a well-funded national campaign against such crimes against nature so no children's books are necessary.

The gays stole my lunch money

[ Parent ]
Actually, that cleavage shot reminds me of the Spears' crotch shots.
Hmmm.  I had a prof who asserted that there are no accidents in the Universe.  Is this bigot referencing her vulva in a public, shameless way?  Since she's married and remarried, she's a shameless adulterer and fornicator, so it seems possible.

[ Parent ]
It has something to do with fox news,,,
Maybe a ratings increase gimmick for Hannity and Colmes?
I mean they have to have something for the white christian hetero men to keep them tuned in, as they believe a woman's place is at home, barefoot, and pregnant.

If I make sense? it was quite by accident.

[ Parent ]
britney spears and rios are affected by the same mental illness
that one must play up one's sexuality in order to be noticed or taken seriously.  then she gets on faux news and indoctrinates children into believing that women must do these things if they are to be taken seriously in a public forum.

The gays stole my lunch money

[ Parent ]
Aye.

She's sick.

She should be closeted.

For the children.

[ Parent ]
Hey, RIOS, we were kids at one time!!!
We lived in fear of being who we are because of people like you!!!  We are not only fighting for our adult rights now, we are fighting for the future generation of LGBT children, so they wont have to live that dreadful closet life, which is very depressing!!!

If I make sense? it was quite by accident.

Now, now, HappyCat.
Rios is just following Jesus's mandate: Do far worse unto others than you'd ever do unto yourself.

[ Parent ]
Gays are mentally healthy, thank you very much
The vast majority of gay people are neither depressed nor on antidepressants.  Let's not feed into the bleaters' propaganda.  They don't call us "gay" for nothin'.  The only thing we suffer from is discrimination, which sure as heck can lead to depression in some, but by no means most.  The cure is to fix (or better yet, ignore) the 'phobes, not "fix" ourselves.  I know I always feels nice and relaxed and undepressed when a heterosupremacist gets smacked down with logic by Pam or anyone else.

Straights like Sandy are mentally ill!

Truly Reagan is to blame!  Ever since he made it ever so difficult for the insane to be locked up, we end up seeing these folks in organizations like Sandy's!

What a closeted pill-popping FREAK!

[ Parent ]
Oh Sandy...
...you're Cuckoo for Cocoa Puffs.

ya know....
I can see now why CWA hired Bam Bam Barber to replace her.

They are the same "woman".

Charley sez ---- Bat sh*t crazies amuse me!

I feel we should thank Alan Colmes
Thank you Alan, for trying to talk reason.

Same Ole, Same Ole

They attack us, making uninformed off the wall accusations, generalisations, insinuations and illogical segues, and then we attack them, making off the wall accusations, generalisations, insinuations and illogical segues.  Everyone reacts with intolerance to intolerance, disrespect for others, name-calling, bigotry on both sides, and general nastiness, as if that lends some moral creedence to the point you're trying to make.  Is it any wonder the debate moves forward at a snail's pace?  As long as the subject is handled at such a visceral, tit-for-tat, 6th grade playground level by both sides, then we're stuck.  It makes for sensational press, but doesn't forward the issue.  Even 6th graders know they have to grow up eventually.
