The Christian Civic League of Maine's Mike Hein calls Pam's House Blend:
"a leading source of radical homosexual propaganda, anti-Christian bigotry, and radical transgender advocacy."

He is "praying that Pam Spaulding will "turn away from her wicked and sinful promotion of homosexual behavior." (CCLM's web site, 10/15/07)

Ex-gay "Christian" activist James Hartline on Pam:
"I have been mocked over and over again by ungodly and unprincipled anti-christian lesbians."
(from "Six Years In Sodom: From The Journal Of James Hartline," 9/4/2006, written from the "homosexual stronghold" of Hillcrest in San Diego).

"Pam is a 'twisted lesbian sister' and an 'embittered lesbian' of the 'self-imposed gutteral experiences of the gay ghetto.'" -- 9/5/2008

Peter LaBarbera of Americans for Truth Against Homosexuality heartily endorses the Blend, calling Pam:

A "vicious anti-Christian lesbian activist."
(Concerned Women for America's radio show [9:15], 1/25/07)

"A nutty lesbian blogger."
(MassResistance radio show [16:25], 2/3/07)

Pam's House Blend always seems to find these sick f*cks. The area of the country she is in? The home state of her wife? I know, they are everywhere. Pam just does such a great job of bringing them out into the light.

Kevin McCullough's hard-on for Obama and the 'gay boogeyman'

by: Pam Spaulding

Sun Mar 02, 2008 at 07:30:00 AM EST

There's nothing like a fresh flaming pile of anti-gay horsesh*t from Town Hall columnist Kevin McCullough, who commented on Barack Obama's recent open letter to the LGBT community at his blog, Musclehead Revolution. Kevin practically foams at the mouth.
For every Obama supporter who has written me criticizing me for statements I've made in so many previous outlets they would be impossible to tally - OBAMA likey the GAY MARRIAGE. He has issued a written statement saying to the homosexual elite radicals that he will REPEAL the National Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA). And that on the issue of redefining the institution by which ALL of society has been built upon he would allow state by state any jolly perverted idea or arrangement that can be signed into law to take place.

...And of course merely saying that engaging in homosexual behavior is in fact unhealthy, detrimental and even deadly - would qualify as outright "homophobic" views in Obama's world. SO we can't teach Biblical sexuality... i.e. HEALTHY... only the gospel of condoms!

Obama supporters have tried to silence me claiming that he was never the radical activist for the homosexual lobby that I always knew him to be, but now he has proven me right - and his blinded sheep following him like lemmings over the edge of the cliff are now faced with a choice. A radical liberal activist (supporting homosexual behavior) who supports the most radical redefinition of the basic family structure in the history of the world... or John McCain.

Media Matters has more on the above.

Was he through? No, he's just getting started. The above was published on February 28. McCullough launched another attack today, March 2, on Clown Hall, entitled "Obama: America's first Gay President?." Read this nonsense after the jump.

Pam Spaulding :: Kevin McCullough's hard-on for Obama and the 'gay boogeyman'
Kevin McCullough has decided he wants to be the conservative homo-hate emissary for the GOP right out of the box, so John McCain wouldn't have to.
In this way he may be more "gay" than Clinton was "black" - and by a wide margin at that.

For all the shell game that Obama was able to juggle in the run for President to date on the issue of his real, underlying views on the radical homosexual agenda - this week he removed all doubts.

In an alarmingly pointed written statement Obama signed his named to the personal promise of greater advance against the institution of marriage of any candidate to ever run for the highest office. Pointedly so he gave his full pledge to overturn, or repeal, the federal Defense of Marriage Act.

...This act was signed by the last liberal President in office William Jefferson Clinton. In pledging to do so Barack Obama has now staked out turf that threatens the viability of the next generation of children that could subject them to an operative norm that would contribute to the de-constructing of families as to however one could imagine in one state - and then forcing recognition of that sexual union by its neighboring state regardless of what the citizens of that state say.

Plenty of LGBT folks out there don't feel Obama's good enough on our issues, of course when it boils down to it, this makes it clear who the real enemy is, because Barack Obama is worlds apart from McCain and McCullough's world view on the matter. Obama has now been labeled a homosexualist activist, supporting our "radical agenda" in the eyes of McCullough, who wants to make us the boogeyman yet again in 2008.
Yet as someone who has followed his career since long before he was a national stage player, I have warned that his aggressive support for the radical homosexual activist agenda in America is a part of the overall picture of who he is.

...Obama displays a reckless commitment to play games with the future sexual formation of families and puts himself so firmly planted in the camp of anti-biblical views of truth, sex, and family that we have never seen its comparison in all years previous.

Make no mistake, committed Obama supporters share his uber-libertine leanings to homosexual behavior, and want to encourage more relaxation of traditional moral sexual barriers in society. And with academics like Dr. Judith Levine arguing in her book, and endorsed by Clinton Surgeon General Joyclin Elders, arguing that sex between adults and children is not harmful to the child - one can easily imagine what such relaxation of rules would lead to.

The in-family squabbles over who is more LGBT-affirming -- Clinton or Obama -- makes little difference when you have attacks to contend with like this, which would be hurled at Hillary as well in some form or fashion.

The fact of the matter is McCullough has been railing about same-sex unions, homosexuality as an equivalent to bestiality, pulling out the "parts don't fit" nonsense, and other obsessive, high-strung bleatings for some time now, getting warmed up for the general election.  Let's revisit some of the spittle-laden homophobic statements drooled by Mr. McCullough. Some classics...

On Mary Cheney and Heather Poe having a child:

If they were to choose to engage in sex acts a thousand times over, their biological machinery would never produce what is needed - but for a different reason. There is no dysfunction in this case. Instead, the reason the sexual engagement does not work is because the necessary parts are not even present. It is the equivalent of screwing a nut onto a bolt, by using a hammer. They just don't fit.
More crude drivel:
Homosexual behavior and Christianity do not mix. From the standpoint of theory, theology, doctrine, and practice the two are totally and completely incompatible; as are adultery, pornography, bestiality, pedophilia, pre-marital sex, incest, cross dressing, multiple partner orgies and the list goes on.
From his piece Why homosexuals despise marriage:
For instance, a woman who engages in lesbianism will never know the joy of lovemaking that creates within her the product of that union -- an actual human life. She will never know the security of a true man protecting her from the dragons of the world and providing for her an environment where she can nurture and give love to that little life once it arrives, or the stamp of approval that God puts on such an experience. And because she and her partner know this, they must defy reason, biology and sexual function to create children and experiences that serve as faulty substitutes for that God-ordained picture.

Likewise, a man who seeks his perverse kicks by depositing the seed of life in, shall we say, non-life-giving cavities, may know orgasm, but never complete union, as he uses anatomy in ways for which the Creator did not create it.
Given that it's McCullough's party has been the been the haven of political hypocrisy on issues regarding sexuality (see the lengthy number of posts in my Republican Sexual Hypocrites file), his rant is mind-blowing). The Republican party is filled with amoral "pillars of the community" who trawl for illicit, extramarital homo- and heterosex in the shadows while putting on pious faces in order to rail against law-abiding LGBT taxpaying citizens who live openly and honestly.

What McCullough and his ilk long for is a return to the padlocked closet of shame, self-loathing, and pathological sexual dishonesty championed by social conservatives and/or elected GOP embarrassments like Larry Craig, David Vitter, Mark Foley, Ted Haggard, Bob Allen, Houston District Attorney Chuck Rosenthal, Cabarrus County (NC) commissioner and pastor Coy C. Privette, Glenn Murphy, Jr. (former chairman of the Young Republican National Federation), the list goes on and on.

If there is anything that threatens marriage, society and public health, it's the behavior of the above representatives of the party of family values, but Kevin McCullough chooses to focus on why the government should choose to make laws to restrict the rights of law-abiding citizens who wish to have their relationships and families recognized in the eyes of the law as part of the American quilt.

The party of Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton have not made incessant attempts to get into the bedrooms and wombs of the American public like the party of the Republican Sexual Hypocrites. The GOP has been in control of the political agenda for far too long, and the public has simply had enough of the boogeyman campaigning on this front. One only needs to look at the Democratic turnout versus Republican turnout at the polls during this primary season. In many cases the combined votes for all of the GOP candidates was less than the votes than either Obama or Clinton. That hardly sounds like a mandate for more of the same, tired, fearmongering, Kevin. Hang it up.

No one mourns the wicked.
Two children dead, a transwoman dead, two gay men beaten in a couple of weeks.
The casualties that we know of, if these were racially motivated, would indicate an epidemic of violence.
The hate speech and cold callous political calculations that fuel this would be decried everywhere.

But it is us, our community
And sad to say, that if 2004 is an example, we can be reasonably sure that some of our own, republican staffers, are helping to make it possible.
And no one mourns the wicked.

Where is the mainstream media, investigative journalists, in coverin the causality?

Where is the HRC in denouncing the hate spech and holding the haters accountable for the killing?

When have enough of us died?

sorry
I have no idea why it double posts accasonally. Can some one remove one?

Fearmongering, Indeed!
I've never understood why this kind of moronic drivel finds an audience at all. We have a bad economy, fuel problems, an infrastructure crisis, a war quagmire, a failing education system...all kinds of REAL problems...and yet, this kind of asshat gets the audience he's seeking just by blathering on about 'OMG HOMOGAYS R NASTAY'.

Why is this kind of garbage enough to distract some people from the real issues? :(

Because hatred and fear sells and works on the Right
They cannot win on the war
They cannot win on more tax cuts for the wealthy
They cannot win on the economy.

So..
They bring forth the "Gay Scare" once again.
And we keep dying
And tragically, some of our own collaborate with those inciting our deaths.

First gay President?
First of all he's straight as far as I can tell, and second of all only if you don't count Buchanan and Lincoln (the first is almost uncontroversal, and the second it pretty obvious if you look objectively at the evidence).

Buchanan would have made a good Log Cabin
Though a Democrat, which at the time was the conservative party, James Buchanan seems to absolutely reek of Log Cabin Republican.

Yes, a serious contender
for worst President ever, up until W anyway.

[ Parent ]
getting warmed up
getting warmed up for the general election

That's right on point, as is the fact that this type of homophobic howling would target any dem nominee. I think the howling fear mongering is only a whisper of what it will be in a few months.

Also, I don't understand his "Musclehead Revolution" title. Kevin's obviously not a musclehead, in the typical sense of the word.

Is he trying to play on words, asserting that his brain is a big muscle capable of leading a major revolution in conservative thinking?  I'm not getting that from his blog, where current frontpage topics include:

The Olson twins and Hugh Hefner
Tom Brady and his underwear
American Idol
A Saturday Night Live skit about Obama

Electricity's for light bulbs!

The Rich White Men See The Writing On The Wall...
While it's obviously sad and gut-wrenching to read drivel like this, it is slightly consoling to watch the DESPERATION in the voices of the members of the Rich Good Ol' Boys Club get more intense every day. I think they are starting to realize that their centuries in power might soon very well start crashing down, and I love it.

ahem and for the record:

"For instance, a woman who engages in lesbianism will never know the joy of lovemaking that creates within her the product of that union -- an actual human life. She will never know the security of a true man protecting her from the dragons of the world..."

My sister is 5'2", pregnant, and could kick this "dragon of the world's" ass in two minutes or less.

and for the record
I have three children.
Heterosexuality?
Been there, done that.
And I know the joy of lovemaking within true love, with a woman
Dragons? I will deal with them myself, thank you. I do not need a man near me to do that.

Yup
Been there, done that too. I have two children of my own and two step-children we are raising. I don't want anyone killing my dragons thank you very much. If they need 'killin', I'll do it myself. This guy's male chauvanism alone is enough to make me want to hurl, much less his bigotry and homophobia. He also really seems to be fixated on all things sexual. You have to watch out for these types. I'd be willing to bet there is some kind of skeleton in his well-locked closet.

Musclehead?
He looks like the Pillsbury doughboy to me -- a sleepy-eyed, inbred Pillsbury doughboy. I want to kick his fat ass.

When you look for the bad in mankind, expecting to find it, you surely will.

Perez Hilton
I just read through the comments on McCullough's post.

He's defending his use of the word "homos" because he saw it used in a headline at PerezHilton.com:

http://perezhilton.com/2008-02...

So, McCullough reads Perez Hilton, huh?

How many straight guys do you know who do that?

Just a thought.

what obama would "allow"
never ceases to amaze me how both ignorant people choose to be about what powers the president has and hasn't.
he would allow state by state any jolly perverted idea or arrangement that can be signed into law to take place.
the president has no direct power to affect state-level legislative decisions.  none.

another point of fact that these morons never face: that for a state legislature to pass the man-on-dog type of marriage laws the haters try to scare us with, would require us to believe that the majority of a legislature + the governor actually would pass such stuff.  show me one state where the man-on-dog lobby even exists.  it doesn't, of course.  but people who choose the hater's lifestyle can never be bothered with logic and facts.

Kevin who?
What rock did this shit-for-brains crawl out from under.  I've never even heard about him before.  "Musclehead Revolution"?  Is he kidding?  It's more of a "Cobwebhead Revolution".

Pillsbury Doughboy
Hi Maura...all the BushCo soldiers look fat, out of shape, and without any character in their faces...did you see the pic of the Bush aide who had to resign because he was stealing writings from other columns for his columns?

They're all the soiled product of political privelege...never having had to fight for anything in their lives, they were lifted straight from right-wing colleges like Regency to lord it over public servants who have been serving the public for decades.

And a vote for McCain is a vote for four more years of the same BS...

From his piece Why homosexuals despise marriage:
a unified panel of seven judges agreed that illegitimate sexual unions should be made equitable under law to that of monogamous married persons.
One of the guys from FRC was on CSPAN debating about SSM, and he referred to it as "sexual license." It didn't make sense to me at the time but it does now.

Given that according to them our love is fake, they literally see our marriages as the legitimization of our "promiscuity." Thus, our monogamous relationships are considered to be confining our promiscuity to one person.

So he's just more willing to say what the more "socially upstanding" 'phobes are thinking.

Of course when one worships their own ego as God, it's impossible to accept that your "god" might be wrong about anything. Thus, all too easily, he succumbs to the wiles of projection.

His words:

They wrongfully believe that the guilty voice within them is an echo of a prudish state that seeks to limit their freedoms. They wrongfully believe that the judgment they feel is emanating from "Bible thumpers." And what they fail to admit is that the voice that condemns them the loudest is never a human voice ? but in fact the voice of their own conscience informed by the truth of the God who created them.

Now try it:
They wrongfully believe that the guilty voice within them is an echo of a gay agenda that seeks to limit their freedoms. They wrongfully believe that the persecution they feel is emanating from "homosexual activists." And what they fail to admit is that the voice that condemns them the loudest is never a human voice ? but in fact the voice of their own conscience informed by the truth of the God who created them.
Barring redemption, all that's left for him to do now is admit that his first love, besides his ego, is his love of hatred.

C'mon Kevin, you know you want to.

huh?
. . .our monogamous relationships are considered to be confining our promiscuity to one person.

scratching my head on this one.  I mean, it must take multiple generations of inbreeding to develop that sort of depraved way of thinking

You know, to the best of my knowledge..
this country was founded by students of Enlightenment Philosophy, of wtiters like Locke, Jefferson, Diserot, Gertrude de Stael, all of whom were...
:::::gasp:::::
Deists.
As were Madison, Monroe, probably Washington and others, despite the convention of going to a mainstream chruch.

They created that ideal of the Enlightenment, a SECULAR Republic. (read Jefferson sometime on his attitudes toward the clergy, or the unanimously passed Treaty of Tripoli from the Adams administration that categorically denies that the US is founded upon Christianity)

So, there is no national God, no national religion, no national interpretation of the Bible.

Now, I could be wrong, but I dont think so, because the "voice" that I hear "the loudest is no human voice, but in fact the voice of my own conscience informed by the truth of the Goddess that created me."

And don't forget this gem from McCullough
The "alphas" in homosexual relationships, be they men or women, are many times recruiting younger partners. A vast percentage of those who enter the homosexual life do so after having been sexually initiated by an older person of their sex-be it consensual or not-it usually has the feel of enticement or seduction.- The 'Gay' Truth, May 30, 2003

:::::::shrug:::::
Ok, so an older woman brought me out. I appreciated that a lot more than I would have some fumbling experience with an inexperienced lover.
And yes, she was older than me, five years older in fact.

Mind you, I was over forty at the time....

Now, the woman that I brought out to win my toaster over from national headquarters and meet our recruiting goal..she was three years older than me....(and a Baptist minister's wife--)

We were prepared to insist that you return your toaster,
due to your rule-breaking decision to bring out a woman older than yourself.  But as she was a Baptist minister's wife, well, we're willing to call it a draw.  Provided the minister was the Southern variety of Baptist, that is.  We will inform you of our decision once our investigation is complete.

Almost too easy
Do these people realize how easy it is to take them apart?

"Homosexuals detest marriage"?  Yeah, I suppose that explains why we're fighting tooth-and-nail for access to it.  ;)

Crazy
That headline alone is nuts and appalling.  I'm also a little confused by his "Gospel of condoms" line.  Is he Catholic?  His "about" section didn't say, but a poll I read last year said that 90% or more of American Catholics believed in using birth control.  This guy is far to the fringe, but he's got his radio program...
