noticing the guy moved to the seat near hers doesn't mean they noticed he was masturbating.  It sounds like nobody else on the flight (seats in front, behind or across the aisle from her) noticed or reported anything until she spoke to the person in front of her. The airline acted appropriately after the incident was reported, if she wants to sue someone, she should go after the perv.

I would, however, like to see this illustrated in the airline safety cards. There's plenty of space next to the NO DUNE BUGGIES and NO 1985 CELLULAR TELEPHONES illustrations. Or under the "If seated next to a little person, you must help them with their oxygen mask." graphic.

If I'm not laughing at the crap in Skymall, I do try to make different monologues for the flight attendants. I know they have their own internal one they dare not say as well, so it makes me feel warm 'n' fuzzy sharing the joke.

Fairness:

I'be been occasioally accused of being insensitive to gays who participate in public sex, so let me be even handed here:

I am sick to death of straights having sex on airplanes. This simply has to stop.

What if a  child saw this?

Let's be precise

It is not so much the "trans-movement" as it is radical activists on the extreme who insist upon speaking for the entire trans community, when clearly they do not speak for some, at least, of the women of operative history who simply wish to live as women.

Personally, I've no real issue with the restroom as I am used to unisex accomodtions in Europe.

The shower room is a different matter.

That said, I do support, and without reservation, comprehensive hate crimes, housing, and employment protections for ALL LGBT's.

The Right is killing us at rates comparable to some years lynching rates in post-Reconstruction America. The Trans are dying at the highest rate and if we don't protect them now, then it will be gay men and then Lesbians.

When a Sally Kern can get a standing ovation from her colleagues and then radio time and an op-ed piece in a MSM paper defending her, the situation has become critical.

What Magic???

  As a woman that was born with a penis, I can tell you that it wasn't magic or someone waving a magic wand and going Abra-Kadbra.

 As I dealt with the issue of just why things didn't seem right, it was quite painful. Painful enough to drive me to suicide attempts.

 Through my travel I have met many others that have survived the same.  I have also met a few families that lost a daughter from suicide.  My entire family, excluding my ex-wife have helped other families understand what a loved one is going through.  

 Perisphone, your dumbass comments are the same that drives many others to suicide as the false fear of who we are gets the best of them.  

 All I wanted was for my self was a sense of being complete.  Mind matching body.  An end to the confusion and frustration I lived with every day.

 When I came to grips with what was my actual problem, I had to live in what was called my target gender according to the HBSOC.  I had to have the courage to face many hurdles to be complete.  Fucktards telling me that I am not a woman because I had a dick between my legs didn't help.  

 Having that thing between my legs didn't make using the dressing room at the mall easy, but hell, I wasn't going to buy clothes to take them home and try them on only to return them for a size larger or smaller.  So yes, I did consider the others around me.  I helped many others get over the stigmatism that having that thing does go into dressing rooms.  We were there for one reason, to buy clothes from that store that fit.  And on many occasions, the people that worked at the stores offered assistance going to get the next size up or down, suggesting a different color or style.  OMG, we were being treated with respect and had two questions.

#1  did they know and were just helping?

#2  did they not know and were just helping?

 Either way they knew we were not there to sneak a peak as a MALE pervert would.

There is more than one kind of violence..

such as psychological and even rhetorical violence.

In this case the metaphor is about pain, but it seems you didn't get it.

Personal missions? Your arguments and your positions seem unethical and immoral. That would make you and your goal 'wrong'. I'd love to hear your philosophical moral and ethical justification for why your views and actions are right and not wrong.

If the arguments that trans women are in fact women are correct they aren't incursions, just women taking their rightful place where they belonged all along. If so the womens space isn't destroyed but completed. If so the exclusions are just as wrong as keeping black women out or keeping lesbians out.

Besides. There is a big difference between private spaces where people have freedom of association and public facilities.

Why should there be discriminatory spaces in public facilities? Why should there be spaces seperated on sex or gender lines that are communal that are provided by the public purse just to maintain a communal space where none seems by practical neccessity required? That's an entirely different question that does not matter if transwomen are women, men or something different again and renders many of your prior stated views and arguments inconsequential. It makes the entire debate you keep trying to have a rather pointless exercise.

You never do answer that question. Does that mean you can't?

If this plane incident is an argument to keep people with penises out of womens rooms then this school incident is an argument to keep adult people without penises out of girls and teenagers rooms.

Again with the 'extreme' statements. There aren't remotely enough trans people in the world to 'fill' womens spaces. Not even to take up a quarter of womens spaces. And that's counting the FtM folk along with the MtF folk and all those in between!

You wana know something? You don't get to speak for all women, to be the definer of womanhood. I know personally more natal women face-to-face that accept trans people than don't. They have every bit as much right to speak for women and to define womanhood as you do.
