The Christian Civic League of Maine's Mike Hein calls Pam's House Blend:
"a leading source of radical homosexual propaganda, anti-Christian bigotry, and radical transgender advocacy."

He is "praying that Pam Spaulding will "turn away from her wicked and sinful promotion of homosexual behavior." (CCLM's web site, 10/15/07)

Ex-gay "Christian" activist James Hartline on Pam:
"I have been mocked over and over again by ungodly and unprincipled anti-christian lesbians."
(from "Six Years In Sodom: From The Journal Of James Hartline," 9/4/2006, written from the "homosexual stronghold" of Hillcrest in San Diego).

"Pam is a 'twisted lesbian sister' and an 'embittered lesbian' of the 'self-imposed gutteral experiences of the gay ghetto.'" -- 9/5/2008

Peter LaBarbera of Americans for Truth Against Homosexuality heartily endorses the Blend, calling Pam:

A "vicious anti-Christian lesbian activist."
(Concerned Women for America's radio show [9:15], 1/25/07)

"A nutty lesbian blogger."
(MassResistance radio show [16:25], 2/3/07)

Pam's House Blend always seems to find these sick f*cks. The area of the country she is in? The home state of her wife? I know, they are everywhere. Pam just does such a great job of bringing them out into the light.

Papa Ratzi weighs in on marriage after CA ruling

by: Pam Spaulding

Sun May 18, 2008 at 14:00:00 PM EDT

You knew the Prada Pope had to make a statement after the California Supreme Court said OK to marriage equality.
One day after California overturned a ban on same-sex marriage, the Holy Father has firmly stated that only marriage between a man and a woman is moral.

...While the Pope did not directly mention the ruling in California in his address to the Forum of Family Associations and the European Federation of Catholic Family Associations, Benedict XVI stressed the importance of the traditional family for the good of society.

"The union of love, based on matrimony between a man and a woman, which makes up the family, represents a good for all society that can not be substituted by, confused with, or compared to other types of unions," he said.

He continued by speaking of the rights of the traditional family, "founded on matrimony between a man and a woman, the natural cradle of human life." Mention of the need to defend the family is not uncharacteristic for Pope Benedict, but his statement takes on particular relevance following the California ruling.

Since Pope Benedict has showered love on the bonds of heterosexual marriage yet again, I thought I'd post this food for thought. A horror on Long Island, NY:
Two toddlers have been placed in the care of Suffolk County Child Protective Services after police arrested their parents on drug and endangerment charges.

Suffolk police responded to a Shell Road home around 3 pm May 9 after receiving a tip of possible animal abuse, according to police reports. They discovered a dog locked with its own filth in a small cage, without water, and entered the home.

Inside, they found a 4-year-old boy naked and a 2-year-old boy wearing a dirty diaper. They also found Jeffrey Littlefield, 24, and Heather Littlefield, 23, the boys' parents, apparently under the influence of drugs, along with more than 200 used and uncapped hypodermic needles and "at least one hypodermic needle loaded with drugs," according to a police statement.

Needles were in "virtually every room in the house," the statement added. Also confiscated were two rifles with ammunition, several knives, used glassine bags and other drug paraphernalia, police said.

When Jeffrey Littlefield approached officers, he stumbled to the floor; Heather Littlefield was found unconscious on the bathroom floor, police said.

Well the Pope of the child-abuse scandal-ridden Church doesn't really care
about the babies. . .they are just fundraising tools for the monarchy. . .er. . .papacy.

He doesn't particularly like constitutional government,either...how arrogant of the "little people" to think they have a voice in policy when there are self-appointed representatives of God to do it for us?

not fundraising.
That's tithing and absolutely it is done 'by the head.'

It's the Hammer of JUSTICE,
It's the Bell of FREEDOM,
It's the Song about LOVE between,
my Brothers and my Sisters
...All over this Land.

This person just looks very evil...

to me. If I met him in a gay bar I would be afraid to go anywhere with him, no matter how lonely I was. I'd go home alone again.

Look at those eys, that look and that evil smile. Looks like he's up to no good. (giggles)

I'd rather be a lion for one day, than a sheep for my entire life.

WTF does he know?
The Pope was a Nazi in WW II. He joined the Hitker Youth. And don't give me that shit about how he HAD to join. The last Pope was of service age in German occupied Poland. It can be argued that there would have been MUCH more pressure on him to join the Nazis and to serve in the military but he mined coal throughout the occupation. Typical of xtians to ignore facts that don't fit in with their world view while constructing a fanatsy that does.

some of the key people in the underground
also served in the nazi military at the same time.  i don't take his being forced into hitler youth to mean anything one way or the other.  i really don't.  to me it is the kind of armchair finger-pointing only those never placed in such a situation can indulge in.  and i hate this guy, make no mistake.

But . . .

At least they are in a "traditional family values" marriage "between one man and one woman".  Didn't you know Pam, that's all that matters!

this pope
is a power hungry old closet queen. if i believed in hell, i'd say he's going there.

How do the Pope, Clinton, McCain and Obama differ on same sex marriage?
The unending barrage of bigotry by catholic cultists is closely connected to campaigns of violence and harassment against us. Their opposition to same-sex marriage, in consort with their political partners in crime, the Republican/Democrats in the US and the Tories in England and Canada provide a rallying cry for thugs and skinheads. These violent scum fully understand the message that if we can't get married it's because we're not quite human. And if we're not quite human, if we're subhuman, untermensh, second class citizens, it gives them an excuse for violence. Not that they need much in the way of excuses.

The alarming numbers of murders and violence here and elsewhere verify the deadly effects of bigotry by catholic, muslim and protestant cultists and their political allies, the Democrat/Republicans.

When cultists and politicians provoke violence they should be harshly punished, sued and taxed to the limit. They forfeit their cult's tax free status when they remove their roman collars and put on their brown shirts. Their symbiotic relationship with rightwing and conservative political groups puts us in continuous danger.

Unfortunately we can't have them persecuted because the Republican/Democrats trash canned the Matthew Sheppard Hate Crimes bill and refuse to consider hate speech legislation.

The looter rich much prefer working with Democrats like Obama and the Clintons - they're greedier, they fool more people and they're able to get away with a lot more than Republicans.

Something new for Mexico regarding marriage...

Transgender marriage rattles Mexico

MEXICO CITY -- A couple who both changed their sex married yesterday in Mexico's first transgender wedding, as the traditionally conservative country loses some of its inhibitions.

Mario del Socorro, formerly Maria, and Diana Guerrero, who used to be Jose, held an austere ceremony for friends and relatives in a community centre.

The couple said they hoped media coverage would pressure Mexico's congress to pass a proposed law that would let people get sex-change operations in public hospitals.

...Members of the bride's Catholic family said the couple tried for months to find a priest who would marry them in a church.

"At the end of the day, it's a marriage between a woman and a man, so what's the problem with blessing this union in the eyes of God?" said the bride's sister, Flor Guerrero.

Until the Catholic Church
decides to stop aiding and abetting its known or suspected criminals, I refuse to see any reason to acknowledge them as anything other than a Mafia.

With all apologies to Mafias...

"It goes on one at a time, it starts when you care to act, it starts when you do it again after they said no, it starts when you say We and know who you mean, and each day you mean one more."

A slightly ad hominem attack
If marriage is so good for society, why are priests, and Pope Ratzi himself, forbidden from it?  My imagination doesn't need much running room to come up with a few reasons...

But how about man and altar boy ?

This all feels Peteresque to me

Throw the bricks at me ... aim for my head.

I have always maintained that all I was wanted was CIVIL marriage.  ALL the California Supreme Court did was grant CIVIL marriage.  The Court wrote at length that Churches were free to believe and do as they wished.

ALL the Pope said was a statement about the beliefs of his Church.  NOTHING about homosexuality is reported in the story above.  Yet we are doing a better smear job on him than anything Peter has ever done on us.  Not fair!  Not right!

Roman Catholics and Mormans and Fundamentalist have every right to their moral and religious beliefs.  And in the USA, if we want the Freedom of Speech, we have to allow them the Freedom of Speech.

Start spattering me with offal.  Go ahead.

The fight for full LGBT Equality is NOT over.  Be strong and be ready to really fight!  And read my blog in your spare time! http://ravenhurst-ravenhurst.b...

i think you have to look at the downstream effects
of very long series of papal comments on family, marriage and sexuality, and RCC activism against politicians, RCC laity and non-RCC american citizens who don't toe the RCC line.  when you take it all together, you see that these statements aren't just innocent professions of religious belief.  they are marching orders not just for people in the church to apply within the church, but also for powerful church members to try to influence civil government.  i could care less what ratzinger's opinions are IF he kept his hands out of american government.  but he doesn't.  not by a long shot.  the pope is a political figure as much if not more than he is a religious figure.  he is a head of state, and he is not benign.  you must always bear that in mind.

oh, and about freedom of speech
he clearly has it.  can you demonstrate how the federal government is constraining him from communicating?  we, in turn, have the freedom to speak in response.

i think you might be confusing criticism of what someone said with trying to prevent them from saying it.  they're not the same thing, and i don't see the latter happening here.

Peteresque?!?
ALL the Pope said was a statement about the beliefs of his Church.  NOTHING about homosexuality is reported in the story above.  Yet we are doing a better smear job on him than anything Peter has ever done on us.  Not fair!  Not right!
He just insinuated that homosexual marriages are fake marriages, there is no love in homosexual marriages, and that homosexual marriages are immoral. And that's just what I was able to glean from this little article! When he makes comments about "traditional marriages" and points out that they're the only correct marriage (using phrases like "moral" and implying they're the only marriage based in love), it doesn't take much to infer he's mocking homosexual marriage. And, just because he didn't say something this time doesn't mean he hasn't said it in the past.

Just as Lurleen pointed out, he has more than his fair share of free speech here in the US (of which he is NOT a citizen.) No one is restricting his speech, or even saying we should. I don't have to be respectful to his religiousness, because he certainly isn't respectful of my lack of religion. He's trying to dictate how I should live my secular life based on his religious views, and is trying to get it legislated here in a country where he doesn't even live.

We're just pointing out what a despicable, hypocritical asshole the man is. And I'm not sorry about calling him that, because I'm fairly certain Jesus would agree.

[ Parent ]
I agree
Lurleen.
Let him SAY whatever he likes. and let me do the same.

I don't give a damn what the pope thinks,
I believe he is the biggest jackass to step foot on this planet,  well him and Bush may be tied for that.

He is a threat to children as he is the high power of the RCC.  Which tried its best to cover up child molesting sicko priests.  If Catholics don't like being lumped in with these slimmy characters, they need to get rid of them as it is their religion, not mine.  I don't live under their devine and hypocritical rules.  As the saying goes, clean up your damn yard before you bitch and complain about mine.

The bible and the news paper these days are good for one thing, starting fires in my fireplace during the winter.

Now I do live in the United States that has a Constitution, although Bush and Co has shreded many parts of it.  And I can vote for people who are intrested in undoing the damage Bush and Co have done.  I don't live under the RCC so it is up to those who do to clean the mess up that they have allowed to happen.  Unfortunatly, they people who cherish the Pope Poop will vote for that piece of shit McCain as well.

If I make sense? it was quite by accident.

Let me take the opportunity to say...
fuck the pope!  Who is this piece of shit to lecture anyone on what's moral and what isn't?  This is the man who directed his 'brethren' to keep quiet about the pedophile priests until the statute of limitations expired.  He's a complete waste of space.

I presume all single parents
within the catholic church will be required to forfeit their children?? After all, they're outside his definition of a family as well.

and those divorced...
   for irreconcilible differences...

I'd rather be a lion for one day, than a sheep for my entire life.
