Blend-o-licious endorsements...

The Christian Civic League of Maine's Mike Hein calls Pam's House Blend:
"a leading source of radical homosexual propaganda, anti-Christian bigotry, and radical transgender advocacy."

He is "praying that Pam Spaulding will "turn away from her wicked and sinful promotion of homosexual behavior." (CCLM's web site, 10/15/07)

Ex-gay "Christian" activist James Hartline on Pam:
"I have been mocked over and over again by ungodly and unprincipled anti-christian lesbians."
(from "Six Years In Sodom: From The Journal Of James Hartline," 9/4/2006, written from the "homosexual stronghold" of Hillcrest in San Diego).

"Pam is a 'twisted lesbian sister' and an 'embittered lesbian' of the 'self-imposed gutteral experiences of the gay ghetto.'" -- 9/5/2008

Peter LaBarbera of Americans for Truth Against Homosexuality heartily endorses the Blend, calling Pam:

A "vicious anti-Christian lesbian activist."
(Concerned Women for America's radio show [9:15], 1/25/07)

"A nutty lesbian blogger."
(MassResistance radio show [16:25], 2/3/07)

Pam's House Blend always seems to find these sick f*cks. The area of the country she is in? The home state of her wife? I know, they are everywhere. Pam just does such a great job of bringing them out into the light.

Scotty on the emperor with no clothes

by: Pam Spaulding

Wed May 28, 2008 at 08:00:00 AM EDT

The Bush tell-all book extravaganza is under way, as Scotty McClellan, ex-shill ex-press secretary for Dear Leader, says in his new book, among other things, that -- gasp -- Bush used propaganda/lied to gain public support for the Iraq invasion! (via Raw Story):
   *  Bush and his aides "confused the propaganda campaign with the high level of candor and honesty so fundamentally needed to build and then sustain public support during a time of war";

*  Some of McClellan's assertions before the White House press corps were, in retrospect, "badly misguided";

* Karl Rove and Lewis "Scooter" Libby "had at best misled" McClellan about their roles in the notorious CIA leak case, even as McClellan publicly defended them;

* The White House was in a "state of denial" during the first week after the Hurricane Katrina disaster;

* Bush was "steamed" about his top economic adviser telling The Wall Street Journal that a possible Iraq war could cost as much as $200 billion. "He shouldn't be talking about that," said Bush, according to McClellan.

As you can see, there's a fair amount of posterior covering on Scotty's part. He just wasn't in the loop. Ironically, Scotty thought the press was too easy on him and should have pushed for more answers. Well, we all know how that goes -- the MSM was so worried about losing access to WH sources that they rolled over and played dead most of the time. About the only time they showed any balls was when it was clear Rove was a big fat liar about the Plame case.

UPDATE: Love this...Karl Rove starts the McClellan smear campaign, saying that the quotes he read "sound like a left wing blogger," not the Scott McClellan he knows.

War criminals all
Another insider with confirmation that we were lied into a bogus war.  Where is the accountability?
I thought the bar for lying in office was set low enough to catch even a lowly lie about consensual sex?  What gives?

Bush is a self admitted war criminal (torture).  Begin the war crimes trials.

Enjoy.

Mom always told me I was special and I believed her.

"I was just following orders."
Try that excuse, Scotty. It's a classic.

I appreciate the pre-spin. Doesn't mean you shouldn't be indicted with the rest.

He can go to hell
Imagine having all of these insights just in time to write and promote a book.

His book is no different than the last one written by the last person to leave this (or any) administration.  It's time to cash in, that's all.

Don't help him pay his rent.  If you see his books on display, pour coffee on them.

....oooops!
Good idea, but chai even better.

LOL!!!
Ya gotta love the sight of a Republican feeding frenzy!  What could be better than a longtime Bush family insider from Texas throwing Dubbya and his cronies under the bus just to make a few bucks!  Made my day!

THUMBS UP.
From me... too bad we can't do that here.

It's the Hammer of JUSTICE,
It's the Bell of FREEDOM,
It's the Song about LOVE between,

For you, NM
a terrific spoof of a poll showing how Dubya's rating is at an all-time low- within his own family.

Enjoy! :)

Scotty was finished anyway
So I guess he didn't use the book to come out.

Scotty has been finished for a while, and now that his mother is out of office and failed to win the governorship in Texas, he might as well do some profit taking.

Little weasel.
Sorry, Scottie, but I have no sympathy.  You were a spineless little weasel then, and you're a spineless little weasel now.

Remember back when McClellan was in office, the contempt he was held in even then?  His only gift was in appearing too clueless or too ridiculous to even know what was going on.  Great legacy.

Here's a good reaction
Dan Bartlett, via CNN:

(CNN) - Former White House counselor Dan Bartlett lashed out at Scott McClellan in a telephone interview Wednesday, saying the allegations that the media was soft on the White House are "total crap," adding that advisers of President Bush are "bewildered and puzzled" by the allegations in McClellan's new book.

No, don't hold back, Dan- what do you REALLY think?

Apparently once you're a "made man" with the Bush-mafia, you're supposed to keep your mouth shut forever...

Bartlett added that intimates of the President feel McClellan has violated his trust. "Part of the role of being a trusted adviser is to honor that trust," said Bartlett. "It's not your place now to go out" and criticize the President like this.

"It goes on one at a time, it starts when you care to act, it starts when you do it again after they said no, it starts when you say We and know who you mean, and each day you mean one more."

Here's a live vote
regarding McClellan's "truthiness" and motives...

"It goes on one at a time, it starts when you care to act, it starts when you do it again after they said no, it starts when you say We and know who you mean, and each day you mean one more."

Choreographed Response
The Buush Aparatchiks are responding with one voice, even in the face of such a series of bombshells:

1) McClellan wasn't in a position to know anything signficant

2) McClellan should have quit or expressed doubts before

3) The book is a weird place and time to do so

4) This doesn't sound like the Scott we knew

5) We're "troubled" and "puzzled"

It's a calculated and beautifully timed set of attacks coming from every direction.  Scotty is either venal, angry, disturbed.  The White House was obviously a warm, loving, truthful environment and somehow Scott went astray.  In other words, whatever he says is a lie (if he even wrote it).

Chris Matthews has nailed some of these talking points, but the big question from a media that let us down will be "Why did he write this?"

"In order to maintain an untenable position, you have to be actively ignorant."  The Colbert Report

Ari Fleisher
was just on Chris Matthews and if I didn't know better (?), I'd swear he was still on the WH payroll. right down to using Dana Perino's buzz word of "puzzled".

Which Chris Matthews was very quick to point out to Ari.

I wonder if we'll ever get the complete picture of how corrupt this administration was/is...

"It goes on one at a time, it starts when you care to act, it starts when you do it again after they said no, it starts when you say We and know who you mean, and each day you mean one more."

[ Parent ]
We've got the picture
now it is a wonder how long it will take to correct the mess this admin has done.  And with almost 8 months left how much more damage can it do?  SCARY THOUGHT

If I make sense? it was quite by accident.

[ Parent ]
Disgruntled
Perrino described him as 'disgruntled' and that's pretty much all the true believing kool aid drinkers need to hear.

And I don't buy Scottie's newfound candor. I actually believe Rove is probably right (ugh, I hate saying that) that Scottie didn't say boo when he could have made a difference.

And for that he is just as guilty.

I won't stock the book in my store although, of course, I'll order it if someone asks.
