Blend-o-licious endorsements...

The Christian Civic League of Maine's Mike Hein calls Pam's House Blend:
"a leading source of radical homosexual propaganda, anti-Christian bigotry, and radical transgender advocacy."

He is "praying that Pam Spaulding will "turn away from her wicked and sinful promotion of homosexual behavior." (CCLM's web site, 10/15/07)

Ex-gay "Christian" activist James Hartline on Pam:
"I have been mocked over and over again by ungodly and unprincipled anti-christian lesbians."
(from "Six Years In Sodom: From The Journal Of James Hartline," 9/4/2006, written from the "homosexual stronghold" of Hillcrest in San Diego).

"Pam is a 'twisted lesbian sister' and an 'embittered lesbian' of the 'self-imposed gutteral experiences of the gay ghetto.'" -- 9/5/2008

Peter LaBarbera of Americans for Truth Against Homosexuality heartily endorses the Blend, calling Pam:

A "vicious anti-Christian lesbian activist."
(Concerned Women for America's radio show [9:15], 1/25/07)

"A nutty lesbian blogger."
(MassResistance radio show [16:25], 2/3/07)

Pam's House Blend always seems to find these sick f*cks. The area of the country she is in? The home state of her wife? I know, they are everywhere. Pam just does such a great job of bringing them out into the light.

Kevin Moore's Take On Colorado's "Bathroom Police"

by: Autumn Sandeen

Thu Jun 19, 2008 at 16:00:00 PM EDT

Political cartoonist Kevin Moore created a comic strip regarding Colorado's new public accommodation law, and gave me some props in the blog write up for the strip. I thought this was a funny take on this, as I could imagine myself being the bad tranny who could do something like this.

I'm planning on pasting a copy of this comic on the back of my laptop for the trip to Colorado, so with the artist's permission I'm crossposting the comic here so you can see exactly what my computer will be wearing in August.

Question
Is it wrong that I consider the final panel a perfectly valid response to the situation?

No
but is it wrong that I was wondering if The Peter was the cop that he would have enjoyed the ending?  It just seems to be another of his recurring themes...

My America includes LGBT families.

[ Parent ]
A novel protest
If attempts are made in repealing this there are a series of options for truly extreme protesting.

I'm reminded of a group of hijras in india who protested against similar discrimination by publicly flashing the fact that they no longer had the apparatus required to use the mens urinals.

My sanitary suggestion would be a stack of plastic containers filled with yellow dyed water. Say the equivalent of just one persons yearly urine excretion. Have people march around it chanting 'everyone has to go' and with placards like 'what, you expect me to just hold it in all day?'.

O.K. maybe it's a very 60's style piece of protest theatricality but maybe it'd get the point across.
