Pam's House Blend always seems to find these sick f*cks. The area of the country she is in? The home state of her wife? I know, they are everywhere. Pam just does such a great job of bringing them out into the light.

This once proud country of ours is circling the toilet bowl...all thanks to more than seven years of the Bush administration. Who else could think of taking a 1950's analysis of how Americans were tortured by the Chinese and turn that around to produce a torture training manual for use in current times?

The military trainers who came to Guantánamo Bay in December 2002 based an entire interrogation class on a chart showing the effects of "coercive management techniques" for possible use on prisoners, including "sleep deprivation," "prolonged constraint," and "exposure."
What the trainers did not say, and may not have known, was that their chart had been copied verbatim from a 1957 Air Force study of Chinese Communist techniques used during the Korean War to obtain confessions, many of them false, from American prisoners.
I'm proud to be an American, but I can't wait to see Bush out of the White House.
