Blend-o-licious endorsements...

The Christian Civic League of Maine's Mike Hein calls Pam's House Blend:
"a leading source of radical homosexual propaganda, anti-Christian bigotry, and radical transgender advocacy."

He is "praying that Pam Spaulding will "turn away from her wicked and sinful promotion of homosexual behavior." (CCLM's web site, 10/15/07)

Ex-gay "Christian" activist James Hartline on Pam:
"I have been mocked over and over again by ungodly and unprincipled anti-christian lesbians."
(from "Six Years In Sodom: From The Journal Of James Hartline," 9/4/2006, written from the "homosexual stronghold" of Hillcrest in San Diego).

"Pam is a 'twisted lesbian sister' and an 'embittered lesbian' of the 'self-imposed gutteral experiences of the gay ghetto.'" -- 9/5/2008

Peter LaBarbera of Americans for Truth Against Homosexuality heartily endorses the Blend, calling Pam:

A "vicious anti-Christian lesbian activist."
(Concerned Women for America's radio show [9:15], 1/25/07)

"A nutty lesbian blogger."
(MassResistance radio show [16:25], 2/3/07)

Pam's House Blend always seems to find these sick f*cks. The area of the country she is in? The home state of her wife? I know, they are everywhere. Pam just does such a great job of bringing them out into the light.

What's wrong with this picture?

Why top off the weekend with a post about the politics of boobs for good measure...

Is there such a problem with Keira Knightley's breasts that they have to P'shop some in for public consumption? She says it's time to put away the digital pen. (Salon):

There was the juxtaposition of the American and British versions of the posters for the movie "King Arthur" (pictured)-- in the British version, her naturally small breasts have been strapped down by some sort of braided, leather tube top (clearly an ideal wardrobe choice for waging battle), whereas in the American version, someone appears to have stuffed two grapefruits down her shirt. Now, Knightley is surprising everyone by refusing to have her boobs airbrushed for her upcoming film, "The Duchess" -- a scandal reported on faithfully by the Mail in an article headlined: "Keira's Flat Refusal to Have Cleavage Airbrushed in Publicity Shots." Yes, flat refusal. Get it?
Equally visually astonishing is the 45-minutes a day boob makeup job to give Ms. Knightley cleavage for Pirates of the Caribbean. Amanda at Pandagon, in her post entitled "Freedom To Not Bounce Committee Member Speaks":
I do wish, however, she'd gone the extra mile and said, "Attention assholes who impose these impossible standards---you can have scrawny, or you can have bosomy, but you can't have both.  Get over it."
Well I can't speak from experience on the "freedom not to bounce" front, unless that means some serious invisible means of support. The bodacious ta-ta factor is high in my family, regardless of weight, height or any variety of other factors.

Another Refusal
Pam Dawber was requested to wear falsies in her leading role in Mork and Mindy
.  She refused.

Pam,
J'aime ma Peau

I've also heard
that when Genevieve Bujold tested for the role of Capt. Janeway in "Star Trek: Voyager," she was fitted with a padded bra.  (She quit, allegedly because she was unaccustomed to TV shooting schedules, and Kate Mulgrew got the role.)

Have you ever shot a BOW??

I have... just try it without being laced down. OUCH! The feathers on the arrow would rip her nipple off!

The leather top looks like an extremely HAWT  ye olde sports bra.

It's the Hammer of JUSTICE,
It's the Bell of FREEDOM,
It's the Song about LOVE between,
my Brothers and my Sisters
...All over this Land.

K right.. not the feathers.

Its the string of the bow, that will get the 'bosom',  the whole thing snaps forward to produce the shot, which is lined up with the arm completely to the side to maintain the fulcrum for the bow string to be pulled against.  The arrow is at the cheek so you can sight right down it.So it is the cheek that actually can get the feathers. Also the forearms so protection is worn, there too.

Anyway... OUCH.

It's the Song about LOVE between,
my Brothers and my Sisters
...All over this Land.

Period looks
The problem is that Keira Knightly has a 20th century body, but she keeps doing period pieces. In the 18th century, most people would have looked at her and assumed that she was either too poor to eat regularly, or that she was sick. The thin, boyish look didn't really become fashionable until the '20's--but of course, we can't have actresses who actually have the right body shape, because OMGFAT!!!
