The Christian Civic League of Maine's Mike Hein calls Pam's House Blend: "a leading source of radical homosexual propaganda, anti-Christian bigotry, and radical transgender advocacy."
He is "praying that Pam Spaulding will "turn away from her wicked and sinful promotion of homosexual behavior."
(CCLM's web site, 10/15/07)
Ex-gay "Christian" activist James Hartline on Pam:
"I have been mocked over and over again by ungodly and unprincipled anti-christian lesbians."
(from "Six Years In Sodom: From The Journal Of James Hartline," 9/4/2006, written from the "homosexual stronghold" of Hillcrest in San Diego).
"Pam is a 'twisted lesbian sister' and an 'embittered lesbian' of the 'self-imposed gutteral experiences of the gay ghetto.'" -- 9/5/2008
Peter LaBarbera of Americans for Truth Against Homosexuality heartily endorses the Blend, calling Pam:
A "vicious anti-Christian lesbian activist." (Concerned Women for America's radio show [9:15], 1/25/07)
"A nutty lesbian blogger." (MassResistance radio show [16:25], 2/3/07)
Pam's House Blend always seems to find these sick f*cks. The area of the country she is in? The home state of her wife? I know, they are everywhere. Pam just does such a great job of bringing them out into the light.

who monitors yours Bevis ?? Just thought I would drop you a line,so the rest of your life is not wasted.
Perhaps homophobic Sunshine State Representative Darryl Rouson isn't fit to serve as an elected official. Not only does he think the ability of gays and lesbians to adopt is wrong, but because he clearly has memory issues that compromise his judgment. He had to be reminded by Nadine Smith of Equality Florida about this video (via The Bilerico Project):
He did not remember saying this: "I think it's wrong to allow adoptions of children by gay and lesbian couples."
Or this: "I still think that there ought to be ways for us to provide a loving environment for children without sending a wrong message to them early, or a message that we have to sit down and try to explain some psychological damage or emotional damage or something later on in life."
Or this one either: "I think that lesbianism and homosexuality is morally wrong and the law's supposed to discriminate sometimes."
When Nadine contacted Rouson for comment and refreshed his memory about his anti-gay declarations on video, he issued this statement, also promising to issue a public apology at an NAACP debate with opponent Charles McKenzie. Read it after the jump.
l have reviewed the Florida This Week video and I regret my comments. Without giving full explanation, I will say that I should have been more tolerant and less damning on the whole matter of whether Lesbian or gay lifestyle is wrong. I regret that my words caused pain or demonstrated condemnation for fellow human beings.
As far as same sex couples adopting, what i believe is that the paramount issue is a loving household for the child. Children who are in need of adoption should be eligible to receive love whether it is from a heterosexual or same sex couple. I will absolutely support repealing any ban on same sex couple adoptions.
I believe that the matter of gay or lesbian has a theological viewpoint, a political viewpoint and a biological viewpoint. I am not smarter than the preachers, the veteran politicians or the scientists. I will not pretend to substitute my humble and flawed human judgment for theirs. Therefore, I will support civil unions but any sacrament of marriage is a theological issue and it should be sacrosanct to denomination.
I have not taken a position on amendment 2 but i am open to recieving all information. the fact of the matter is i want to build a relationship that bridges gaps between diverse communities without using words that foster hatred and division.

The backpedaling and return of mental acuity was quite amazing, wasn't it? Oh, and about "theological viewpoint" regarding homosexuality, he wouldn't receive any support from McKenzie on that front regarding the anti-gay diatribe caught on tape. His opponent is a pro-equality black Baptist minister who has been endorsed by Equality Florida Action PAC and the Stonewall Democrats and opposes Florida's "so-called Marriage Protection Amendment."
Unfortunately for Rouson and his argument, the lawyer last month insisted - again to Creative Loafing - that his floor-crossing has not influenced his core values: "My values have remained constant and consistent for the last 20 years. The ones who are most harping about the political party change are those who feel the most threatened by it... To me it's a little disingenuous to try and attack me only on that."
...He had originally intended on running as a Republican and had been "courted" by the likes Jeb Bush and Charlie Crist.
