The Christian Civic League of Maine's Mike Hein calls Pam's House Blend: "a leading source of radical homosexual propaganda, anti-Christian bigotry, and radical transgender advocacy."
He is "praying that Pam Spaulding will "turn away from her wicked and sinful promotion of homosexual behavior."
(CCLM's web site, 10/15/07)
Ex-gay "Christian" activist James Hartline on Pam:
"I have been mocked over and over again by ungodly and unprincipled anti-christian lesbians."
(from "Six Years In Sodom: From The Journal Of James Hartline," 9/4/2006, written from the "homosexual stronghold" of Hillcrest in San Diego).
"Pam is a 'twisted lesbian sister' and an 'embittered lesbian' of the 'self-imposed gutteral experiences of the gay ghetto.'" -- 9/5/2008
Peter LaBarbera of Americans for Truth Against Homosexuality heartily endorses the Blend, calling Pam:
A "vicious anti-Christian lesbian activist." (Concerned Women for America's radio show [9:15], 1/25/07)
"A nutty lesbian blogger." (MassResistance radio show [16:25], 2/3/07)
Pam's House Blend always seems to find these sick f*cks. The area of the country she is in? The home state of her wife? I know, they are everywhere. Pam just does such a great job of bringing them out into the light.

I'm taking a sanity break and watching the Olympics this evening, recording the event to analyze later. It's an open thread to discuss the Saddleback Church forum if you're watching it.

11:00: Some recaps from CNN: all you need to know to explain why McCain should not be elected:
McCain said he would have never nominated Justices Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Stephen Breyer, David Souter and John Paul Stevens.
"This nomination should be based on the criteria on a proven record of strictly adhering to the Constitution and not legislating from the bench," McCain added.
The Arizona senator said he was "proud" of President Bush for nominating conservative Justices Samuel Alito and John Roberts to the court.
On the issue of marriage equality, Obama, as usual, tries to have it both ways. What he holds is an irreconcilable, illogical position.
When asked to define marriage, he told Warren, "It's a union between a man and a woman."
"For me as a Christian, it is a sacred union. God's in the mix," he said.
Obama added that he does support same-sex civil unions, saying, "I can afford those civil rights to others even if I don't have ... that view."
"God's in the mix?!" We're talking about civil rights, not a religious ceremony. That's the whole problem with this issue and people on the fence -- civil and religious marriage are not the same and the continued conflation of the two with wordplay is disingenuous. The dance, of course is that he nods and winks that he's willing to grant those civil rights as long as they given another name -- but that's an endorsement of separate but equal, something he knows full well cannot and will not constitutionally fly.
Oh, speaking of the sanctity of marriage, this was McCain's nod to his own questionable honor in that realm.
McCain's answer to the question on his own failings was succinct. "My greatest moral failing, and I have been a very imperfect person, is the failure of my first marriage," he said.
That's an understatement.

On another topic, there are so many events going on at the Democratic Convention (this time next week we'll be in Denver!).
