Blend-o-licious endorsements...

The Christian Civic League of Maine's Mike Hein calls Pam's House Blend:
"a leading source of radical homosexual propaganda, anti-Christian bigotry, and radical transgender advocacy."

He is "praying that Pam Spaulding will "turn away from her wicked and sinful promotion of homosexual behavior." (CCLM's web site, 10/15/07)

Ex-gay "Christian" activist James Hartline on Pam:
"I have been mocked over and over again by ungodly and unprincipled anti-christian lesbians."
(from "Six Years In Sodom: From The Journal Of James Hartline," 9/4/2006, written from the "homosexual stronghold" of Hillcrest in San Diego).

"Pam is a 'twisted lesbian sister' and an 'embittered lesbian' of the 'self-imposed gutteral experiences of the gay ghetto.'" -- 9/5/2008

Peter LaBarbera of Americans for Truth Against Homosexuality heartily endorses the Blend, calling Pam:

A "vicious anti-Christian lesbian activist."
(Concerned Women for America's radio show [9:15], 1/25/07)

"A nutty lesbian blogger."
(MassResistance radio show [16:25], 2/3/07)

Pam's House Blend always seems to find these sick f*cks. The area of the country she is in? The home state of her wife? I know, they are everywhere. Pam just does such a great job of bringing them out into the light.

McCain doesn't disagree with question about reinstituting the draft

by: Pam Spaulding

Wed Aug 20, 2008 at 15:00:00 PM EDT

Heh. Well if you want to stay in Iraq 100 years, I guess it was time to put that card out on the table. Think Progress:

QUESTIONER: If we don't reenact the draft, I don't think we'll have anyone to chase Bin Laden to the gates of hell.
[Applause]
MCCAIN: Ma'am, let me say that I don't disagree with anything you said.

In June, McCain said it would take an "all-out World War III" to make the draft necessary - which seems to mean he'd consider it. In July 2006, when asked to react to Newt Gingrich's claim that "You'd have to say to yourself this is in fact World War III," McCain said, "I do [agree] to some extent."

Asked about the draft last September, McCain said, "I might consider it, I don't think it's necessary, but I might consider it if you could design a draft where everybody equally could serve."

I might consider it if you could design a draft where everybody equally could serve."

Everybody meaning who??

"Everybody meaning who??"
Everybody who can't get a cushy posting with the Texas Air National Guard?

Hahahaha ha!

Well, the AP referred to Liebermann
as the 2000 Democratic VP prick, not pick. Bwahahahaha

Whoever wins, they'll be more slaughter in Iraq, Afghanistan, Iran and Pakistan.

Both Obama and McCain plan on extending the war using the ruse of 'phased withdrawal'. Nixon was for 'phased withdrawal' too. It got him elected in November of 1968 but he ended up extending the war into Laos and Cambodia. The genocidal war ground until April of 1975 when the US military and the quisling army were routed.

Obama wants to repeal DADT to get more cannon fodder (and for no other reason) but if that doesn't do the trick then he'll have no choice but to reinstitute the Draft to secure oil and resource hegemony for US corporations.

The estimated death toll among Iraqis as of today is 1,252,595, the number of GI's killed is 4,144 with over 30,000 wounded, more than half seriously, and the suicide rate among retuning GI's is extremely high.

The looter rich much prefer working with Democrats like Obama and the Clintons - they're greedier, they fool more people and they're able to get away with a lot more than Republicans.

There needs to be an honest debate on the possibility of Drafting
young adults into the military.  I believe an open debate on this subject would be a tell all of the candidates position.  One thing it would expose is how many contactor employees are on the ground in Iraq and Afganistan.

I don't think the average American really pays much attention to what is really going on.  I would be willing to bet that if you asked five questions in a poll,

#1  How many US troops have been killed since the start of the wars in Iraq and Afganistan?

#2  True or False,  The US military has lowered its standards and allows felons and gang members to enlist?

#3  How many of the terrorist that were on the planes that crashed the Twin Towers, the Pentagon and crshed in the field in PA were from Iraq?
(A) 1  (B) 3  (C) 5  (D) 6 (E) none

#4 True or False, Troop levels in Iraq are lower now than they were before the Surge began?

#5 Who won the last American Idol?

IMHO most would get one correct, and that would be number 5.

I would not support a Draft in any shape or form. I also would be suprised to see which groups of Americans would.  Republicans who are to old to be drafted, and college republicans who know they could dodge it.

If I make sense? it was quite by accident.

I actually wish the draft would come back
I can think of nothing that would be more effective to stir up popular opposition to the Junta's never ending wars.

Plus ça change, plus c'est la même merde.

As someone who was subject to the draft and worked to end it
Wishing for a draft which will KILL hundreds of thousands of America's children(and always it's more Minorities and MORE poor kids paying the price)...what a smart f*cking political ploy to wish for it AGAIN!

starting a draft is the EASY part
ENDING IT can take over a decade

I am a registered conscientious objector
The every single draft registration card I filed says so, in the space for the second address; and for the last quarter of a century, I have been advising people who were required by law to register for the draft on how to document their status as a conscientious objector should the draft be reactivated. I even wrote a FAQ on how to do this (available here and in need of updating.)

But for all that, I still think reviving the Selective Service is the only way that Americans will be motivated enough to demand that our foreign policy is changed. We currently have a volunteer army; when US soldiers die, well, they made their choice. Look around you: very few people seem to care. But once it is their own children on the front lines, boys (and very likely girls) who did NOT chose to be there being put into mortal danger, you can bet that public opinion will change very hard and very fast against the occupation of Afghanistan and Iraq.

Plus ça change, plus c'est la même merde.

Well...
I guess I had better get my medical records ready to forward to the necessary governmental bodies. I think I'll go work on being more effeminate as well, just in case.

ok people,
let's not jump to conclusions.  the video conveniently cut off right after his opening sentence in response.  i'd like to know what he followed it with.  making judgments on hacked up video is not really the way to go.

Well screw her...
Hearing a woman (especially one who is over draftable age) say that we should reinstitute the draft pisses me off every bit as much as hearing a man say that he doesn't believe that abortions should be legal.

It's real easy to have such an opinion when you know that you will not be eligible to be drafted and even if draft laws are changed and women are made eligible for the draft they would be restricted from serving in combat (where most draftees are sent).

I took what she said as
a bash on the way the veterans are being treated, their quality of healthcare and the filthiness of the va hospital, etc. I thought she was saying if that continues, no one will want to sign up, and then we would have to reinstate the draft to win the war.

Found it at long last!
Here is the answer the LCR's were looking for:

Asked about the draft last September, McCain said, "I might consider it, I don't think it's necessary, but I might consider it if you could design a draft where everybody equally could serve."

EVERYONE could serve equally... during the draft. Now if we aren't mandating you to sign up and go die in another country, then it is still No Gayz Allowed. But At least he is for Draft Equality.
