The Christian Civic League of Maine's Mike Hein calls Pam's House Blend:
"a leading source of radical homosexual propaganda, anti-Christian bigotry, and radical transgender advocacy."

He is "praying that Pam Spaulding will "turn away from her wicked and sinful promotion of homosexual behavior." (CCLM's web site, 10/15/07)

Ex-gay "Christian" activist James Hartline on Pam:
"I have been mocked over and over again by ungodly and unprincipled anti-christian lesbians."
(from "Six Years In Sodom: From The Journal Of James Hartline," 9/4/2006, written from the "homosexual stronghold" of Hillcrest in San Diego).

"Pam is a 'twisted lesbian sister' and an 'embittered lesbian' of the 'self-imposed gutteral experiences of the gay ghetto.'" -- 9/5/2008

Peter LaBarbera of Americans for Truth Against Homosexuality heartily endorses the Blend, calling Pam:

A "vicious anti-Christian lesbian activist."
(Concerned Women for America's radio show [9:15], 1/25/07)

"A nutty lesbian blogger."
(MassResistance radio show [16:25], 2/3/07)

Pam's House Blend always seems to find these sick f*cks. The area of the country she is in? The home state of her wife? I know, they are everywhere. Pam just does such a great job of bringing them out into the light.

FRC's 25 Point Memo in Advance of the GOP Convention

by: davidhart

Wed Aug 20, 2008 at 17:09:01 PM EDT

(Nine of 25? Wow. Who would have thought that The Homosexualist Agenda rated this much attention with the country's economy in the crapper? - promoted by Pam Spaulding)

This is their "platform" and it is supposed to serve as a blueprint for politicians. Nine of the 25 directly relate to us:

* The definition of marriage as the union of one man and one woman should be enshrined in state constitutions. Ideally, such amendments should reserve the benefits granted to marriage for married couples only.

* Congress should oppose, and the president should veto, any effort to dilute, weaken, or repeal the Defense of Marriage Act.

* Congress should pass, and the states should ratify, an amendment to the U.S. Constitution to define marriage as the union of one man and one woman nationwide.

* Until the Marriage Protection Amendment to the U.S. Constitution is adopted, Congress should consider measures which would withhold certain related federal funding from any state that fails to define marriage as the union of a man and a woman. For example, federal "family planning" funds could be withheld from any state that fails to recognize authentic marriage as the foundation of the healthy "family."

* Improve understanding and enforcement of the 1993 statute affirming that homosexuals are ineligible to serve in the military, and oppose congressional efforts to repeal the law.

* Congress should reject (or the president should veto) the "Employment Non-Discrimination Act."

* Congress should reject (or the president should veto) any federal "hate crimes" legislation including sexual orientation.

* State legislatures and governors should reject similar bills.

* Congress should pass legislation that affirms and strengthens the religious freedom of Americans as guaranteed by the U.S. Constitution and rooted in the nation's history. A "Freedom of Conscience Protection" law should protect the right of individuals, businesses, and religious institutions to express and carry out their moral views regarding homosexuality in the schools, in the workplace, or in the public square without fear of legal retribution.

These folks really need to get a hobby

"race, taste. and History finally overcome....and you ain't there"
by Tony Kushner

The do have a hobby. Two of them, in fact
"Talibangelical" and "I'm a Victim." Fascinating games, but they do get a bit tedious for outsiders.

Plus ça change, plus c'est la même merde.

[ Parent ]
They do Petey, they do!
Our total elimination.  I suspect if not by "reparative therapy", then by other means.

[ Parent ]
Because, you know, the sole purpose of marriage is to have and raise children
Unless, that is, you are a straight couple who does not want to have children. Then you don't have to have and raise children.

Plus ça change, plus c'est la même merde.

Although
you will certainly be nagged constantly until you do or endure "The Look" from family, friends, neighbors and acquaintences forever!!

Believe me, waiting to get married until age 27 then waiting until 30 to spit out the first kid showed me ALOT about how people feel entitled to tell you how to live YOUR life...gah!

Had another daughter when I was 33...then came the "when are you going to try for a BOY???" conversations. Such looks when I said I was happy w/o a son; you would have thought I had flipped off the Pope during Mass.

They never believed that these choices were MY options and deliberate decisions! What, a woman can PLAN her life???

Sometimes, I hate the breeders too, petey! ;)

Fools.
Poor, blind, sheep-like, ignorant fools. It must be so sad living without any real knowledge of what actually matters.

If you'll excuse me, I have to go dig out the fork I embedded in the wall upon reading this total tripe.

Violence is the last refuge of the incompetent. ~ Isaac Asimov

I find it HILLARIOUS when Christians attempt to pose as minority victims
All but a handful of all Legislators are Christians, EVERY president has been a white male Christian, all except a handful of Supreme Court Justices have been Christians.

EXACTLY where has been a Christian vaccuum of POWER these folks rant about?

"race, taste. and History finally overcome....and you ain't there"

But platforms don't matter, right?
Isn't that the argument that was floated out on a few different blogs about the Democrats swiss cheese platform?  I don't buy that load of crap about the Dems platform any more than I believe it about this swill.

In an ideal world, the opposition party would rebut such obvious and blatant fear mongering and finger pointing, but this world is about as far from ideal as it gets.

Isn't it a reasonable (not to mention relatively risk free) for anyone opposed to scapegoating of this level to simply respond to the fact that 40% of the platform put forth by the party that holds the White House right now (and approximatley half of Congress) goes far out of its way to blame an entire class of individuals that don't deserve to be maligned?

Isn't God in the mix, here, Senator Obama, or do you also believe that God Hates Fags like the party you are running against?  Can you find the courage to defend our honor at any level?  Are we that far beneath you?

Platfoms don't matter....much
NO politician promises to carry out any of the resolutions in a platform, in EITHER Party.

So what purpose to they accomplish?
Other than giving red meat to Party faithful, and scripts for opposition attack ads?

When are we going to protect marriage from the right-wing bigots?
* The definition of marriage as the union of one man and one woman should be enshrined in state constitutions. Ideally, such amendments should reserve the benefits granted to marriage for married couples only.

1. This is pure hetero-elitism.  They shouldn't use big government to define marriage.  The fundies should focus on their own damn marriage instead of focusing on those who are about to gain the same privilidge.

2. In the case of granting equal rights, denying federal funding to states that support same-sex marriage is not American.

Personally
I'd love to see marriage and family truly protected- so that conviction of felony domestic violence or child abuse caused you to lose all rights to be married or to be a legal parent. FOREVER.

It would never fly, I know...

...we can't even castrate or sterilize them.
One of my patient's son and DIL have adopted two druggie children. One abused to the age of 7 months. The father had fatherd 4 others! to date. The mother has born 6 to date all drug tainted.  No way to stop them.  The parents can barely speak but they sure can ****. Let's see are they married? HA!

But it's a Civil Right!
Which is what the Supreme Court ruled years ago in declaring that convicted felons cannot lose their right to marry while in prison, even though they can and do lose other rights, like the right to vote. Why the equal marriage side doesn't make more of this, I don't know. I mean, the Menendez brothers, who cowardly shot their mother in the back as she fled for her life, both got married in prison! I have to believe that would be a powerful argument in our favor and against the "santity" bullshit.

Four Legs Good, Two Legs BETTER!

Wait---so hate crime legislation to protect the victims of hate crimes (which would include Christians should one be attacked by someone wielding a sword and screaming 'Kill the Christian!" or some other such thing) are verboten because us filthy gays (using the word inclusively for now) don't deserve any protection, but THEY want 'legal protection' to bash gays whenever and wherever they choose? Oh, that thinking's not too skewed,

I'm not even sure if I'm making any sense because this stupidity makes me so furious.

Scary
I guess we should be grateful to them for letting everyone see what America would look like if they had their way.

However, they probably could've summed up their wish list regarding sexual orientation into one paragraph:

"Heterosexuality being the Biblical ideal of our Christian nation, no rights, privileges, protections, or equal status shall be granted to persons that espouse a sexual orientation other than heterosexuality.  Further, because of past judicial activism, Congress should pass, and the states should ratify, an amendment to the U.S. Constitution that enshrines the sodomy laws that were struck down in the infamous Lawrence vs Texas decision."

Makes you want to run right out and vote Repugnican, doesn't it?!

Earth to the Log Cabin Republicans,
How in the world could you be part of the same political party that is pushing this kind of Bull Shit?

These people are part of the political party that wants to be free to treat you like Shit and have it legal to do it.

 This is creepy scary,

Congress should pass legislation that affirms and strengthens the religious freedom of Americans as guaranteed by the U.S. Constitution and rooted in the nation's history. A "Freedom of Conscience Protection" law should protect the right of individuals, businesses, and religious institutions to express and carry out their moral views regarding homosexuality in the schools, in the workplace, or in the public square without fear of legal retribution.

They want it legal to murder or beat the shit out of us because it is their moral view.   Isn't that what stoning in the bible means?  Tax breaks don't mean a Damn thing when you are dead!

If I make sense? it was quite by accident.

Murder
They want it legal to murder or beat the shit out of us because it is their moral view.  Isn't that what stoning in the bible means?

I see and totally agree with what you're saying Happy, but I think in this context they're referring to:

Schools--"Day of Truth", kids wearing shirts with "Be Happy, Not Gay" on them, etc.

Workplace--The right of a "Christian" employer not to hire or to fire a person for the sole reason of being gay, speaking out against homosexuality while working on company time and in a capacity as an employee of a company, ie. Bam-Bam Barber.

Public Square--The absolute right of fundies to disrupt gay events and/or gay activities, ie. The Peter, Repent America, Fred Phelps, etc.

Their manifesto addresses murder and violence on Pg. 37:

Federal "hate crime" legislation is ostensibly only directed at violent crimes (which we unequivocally condemn), . . .

See Happy?  They don't want to stone you, they just want the absolute right to discriminate against you.  Doesn't that make you feel better about them now?!

[ Parent ]
Oh, I see now, I feel so much better now about them.
Now if you will please excuse me while I have to go pick up my mixed fiber dry cleaned pant suits from the cleaners and pick up 2 pounds of shrimp for dinner.

For those who haven't had a chance to read the Fascist Research Council's wish list yet, I found this little tidbit on Pg. 26.  ***WARNING*** Make sure there aren't any glass objects near by when reading this, because you may break something you'll regret doing later!

Protect Marriage as the Union of One Man and One Woman

The Issue

"Marriage is not simply a civil institution, nor is it simply a religious institution.  It is, instead, a natural institution, whose definition as the union of one man and one woman is rooted in the order of nature itself.  There is only one reason why marriage is treated as a public institution--to promote and regulate the type of relationship that can result naturally in the reproduction of the human race.  Marriage encourages the raising of children by the mother and father who conceived them.  Social science confirms that children who are raised by their own married mother and father are happier, healthier, and more prosperous than those raised in any other family structure.

In addition to deliberately creating and affirming motherless or fatherless families, other harms would result from same-sex "marriage."  Homosexuals are less likely to enter long-term partnerships, less likely to be sexually faithful, and less likely to remain committed for a lifetime. 5  Commitment, sexual fidelity, and lifelong marriage would all decline if the behavior of homosexuals is incorporated into society's concept of marriage.  Demands for legalization of polygamy would grow.  Religious liberty and freedom of speech would also suffer, since opposition to same-sex "marriage" would be treated as the equivalent of racial bigotry.

Some argue that same-sex couples should at least enjoy legal and financial "benefits."  However, society gives "benefits" to marriage only because marriage between a man and a woman gives benefits to society.  Homosexual relationships do not benefit society--in fact, they impose significant burdens on it.

This debate is only taking place because small bands of homosexual activists have gone to court in an attempt to gain from judges what they have been unable to win through the democratic process.

Proposals

*  The definition of marriage as the union of one man and one woman should be enshrined in state constitutions.  Ideally, such amendments should reserve the benefits granted to marriage for married couples only.

*  Congress should oppose, and the president should veto, any effort to dilute, weaken, or repeal the federal Defense of Marriage Act.

*  Congress should pass, and the states should ratify, an amendment to the U.S. Constitution to define marriage as the union of one man and one woman nationwide.

*  Until such a Marriage Protection Amendment to the U.S. Constitution is adopted, Congress should consider measures which would withhold certain related federal funding from any state that fails to define marriage as the union of a man and a woman.  For example, federal "family planning" funds could be withheld from any state that fails to recognize authentic marriage as the foundation of the healthy "family."

5  See Timothy Dailey, "Comparing the Lifestyles of Homosexual Couples to Married Couples," Insight No. 260 (Washington, DC: Family Research Council, March 24, 2004).

Okay, if you haven't punched out your monitor or destroyed your laptop by this point, I would assume you've read the whole thing.

The emboldened parts of the text are areas that I wanted to address myself:

1. Homosexuals are less likely to enter long-term partnerships, less likely to be sexually faithful, and less likely to remain committed for a lifetime. 5  Commitment, sexual fidelity, and lifelong marriage would all decline if the behavior of homosexuals is incorporated into society's concept of marriage.

(I'd have been disappointed if they hadn't included some of Paul Cameron's "research" in their manifesto somewhere.)

2.  Homosexual relationships do not benefit society--in fact, they impose significant burdens on it.

(Really.  Wow!  All this time I didn't know that because I'm a homosexual, I didn't need to perform work or pay my taxes that benefit society.  Thanks FRC for letting me know!)

3.  This debate is only taking place because small bands of homosexual activists have gone to court in an attempt to gain from judges what they have been unable to win through the democratic process.

(I guess this means that they feel Brown vs. The Board of Education should never have happened either and African-Americans should have just waited on the generosity of the Federal and various state legislatures.

4.  For example, federal "family planning" funds could be withheld from any state that fails to recognize authentic marriage as the foundation of the healthy "family."

(Oh, now that's brilliant.  Sure, let's withhold federal family planning funds so there can be more teen pregnancies, more unwanted children, more abortions, and last, but not least, more STD's and HIV transmissions.  Sorry people, but "Just Say No" doesn't work!)

Okay.  I'll get off my soapbox now.  This is the longest comment I've ever done, but I thought it was important enough for everyone to see just how dangerous these people are and just what's at stake in this election.  So, for those that might be considering voting for McCain, a "third-party" candidate, or just staying home because Obama may not EXACTLY match our ideal, than re-read this, or better yet, print out the entire Fascist Research Council's policy manifesto, read it all, and imagine our nation totally under the control of their minions.

Nuremberg laws.
Basically, their right to eliminate us from the life of the nation.

No marriage.
No housing
No jobs.
No families.
Minimal consequences for those committing violent acts against us.

And with McCain's USSC goals, the recriminalisation of our very existence..

All of this has been done before. Kenneth Branagh, a countryman, gives an outstanding performance along with Stanley Tucci in the movie "Conspiracy" about organising the outcome of this kind of thinking...

Keep in mind that their major "scientific mind, " Dr Cameron, has in fact called for a "Final Solution of the Homosexual Question." This is not a hyperbolic warning, this in in fact their intention...

I tell you Chica that no greater abomination exists than women denying their spirit of sisterhood and instead becoming the oppressor. -Rebeca, Universidad Complutense de Madrid

The flag, imagery and the picture
I am afraid  this is no accident. Take a look at the picture they use for the cover of this 36% gay-centric platform.

There is the standard use of the flag, which they always wrap themselves in at every opportunity. But look closer. See the "family"?

All four members of this "family" have their right leg raised. Though it is an urban legend, the legend of how the legs of horses are positioned on statues of people who served in war is an enduring one.

The myth, perpetuated by many on the right, is that if one leg is raised it means the person was wounded in battle. If two legs, it means they died in battle. If all four legs of the horse are on the ground it means that the rider died of natural causes.

So, it appears the symbol they are sending to the world: We have been wounded in this battle for the "family" but we are not dead yet.

Sick but, I'm afraid, very real. Remember these are the same people cut from the same cloth (Karl 'my man wears a flight suit' Rove) that made the stage shaped like a cross during Bush's speech at the 2004 convention.

Just a thought
* Congress should pass legislation that affirms and strengthens the religious freedom of Americans as guaranteed by the U.S. Constitution and rooted in the nation's history. A "Freedom of Conscience Protection" law should protect the right of individuals, businesses, and religious institutions to express and carry out their moral views regarding homosexuality in the schools, in the workplace, or in the public square without fear of legal retribution.

This section would have permitted the Southern Evangelicals, the Late Jerry Falwell amongst them, to ignore desegregation as they felt it to be in opposition to the Bible.

It would further permit overt discrimination against non-Christians by landlords, business owners and governmental officials.

I tell you Chica that no greater abomination exists than women denying their spirit of sisterhood and instead becoming the oppressor. -Rebeca, Universidad Complutense de Madrid

Grrrr.....

And what if someone's religion says that homosexuals are morally superior? Will you still adhere to that?

Until the Marriage Protection Amendment to the U.S. Constitution is adopted, Congress should consider measures which would withhold certain related federal funding ...

That's an idiotic idea, and is punishing straight people. How about this, go ahead with that idea, and all LBGT people and allies will cease paying taxes at all until LGBT people receive full equality. Considering my household is taxed as two seperate households because I don't have the legal right to have my relationship recognized that could add up...

Congress should reject (or the president should veto) any federal "hate crimes" legislation including sexual orientation.

... Because as long as the child that is killed in school is gay no one will care right? One less fag to worry about? I usually don't use this kind of language, but F--- Y--!

Homosexuals are less likely to enter long-term partnerships, less likely to be sexually faithful, and less likely to remain committed for a lifetime.

Less likely than who? Brittney Spears? How about the fellow who locked his daughter in the basement and raped her? A report I heard on the radio said about 60% of married men and 40% of married women have had affairs. 50% of Marriages end in divorce. You want to end short term marriages and stop infidelity, make Divorce and Adultery criminal offenses.

Commitment, sexual fidelity, and lifelong marriage would all decline if the behavior of homosexuals is incorporated into society's concept of marriage.

Hmm, considering how long many of these gay couples have been together fighting for the right to marry I would disagree. Show me what proof you have for this statement then I'll consider it.

Keep you bloody "Tradition" of my Family. We're much more respectable than that!
