The Christian Civic League of Maine's Mike Hein calls Pam's House Blend:
"a leading source of radical homosexual propaganda, anti-Christian bigotry, and radical transgender advocacy."

He is "praying that Pam Spaulding will "turn away from her wicked and sinful promotion of homosexual behavior." (CCLM's web site, 10/15/07)

Ex-gay "Christian" activist James Hartline on Pam:
"I have been mocked over and over again by ungodly and unprincipled anti-christian lesbians."
(from "Six Years In Sodom: From The Journal Of James Hartline," 9/4/2006, written from the "homosexual stronghold" of Hillcrest in San Diego).

"Pam is a 'twisted lesbian sister' and an 'embittered lesbian' of the 'self-imposed gutteral experiences of the gay ghetto.'" -- 9/5/2008

Peter LaBarbera of Americans for Truth Against Homosexuality heartily endorses the Blend, calling Pam:

A "vicious anti-Christian lesbian activist."
(Concerned Women for America's radio show [9:15], 1/25/07)

"A nutty lesbian blogger."
(MassResistance radio show [16:25], 2/3/07)

Pam's House Blend always seems to find these sick f*cks. The area of the country she is in? The home state of her wife? I know, they are everywhere. Pam just does such a great job of bringing them out into the light.

Republicans hail Biden selection

by: Pam Spaulding

Sat Aug 23, 2008 at 11:30:00 AM EDT

I guess the Freepi will wet their diapers over this heresy.
Sen. Chuck Hagel: U.S. Senator Chuck Hagel issued the following statement today following Senator Barack Obama's selection of Senator Joe Biden as the presumptive Democratic Vice Presidential nominee:  "Joe Biden is the right partner for Barack Obama.  His many years of distinguished service to America, his seasoned judgment and his vast experience in foreign policy and national security will match up well with the unique challenges of the 21st Century.  An Obama-Biden ticket is a very impressive and strong team.  Biden's selection is good news for Obama and America," Hagel said.

Sen. Richard Lugar:  Tbilisi, Georgia - U.S. Sen. Dick Lugar made the following statement today en route to Tbilisi. "I congratulate Senator Barack Obama on his selection of my friend, Senator Joe Biden, to be his vice-presidential running mate. I have enjoyed for many years the opportunity to work with Joe Biden to bring strong bipartisan support to United States foreign policy..."

Sen. Arlen Specter:  Pennsylvania's Arlen Specter, a Republican who serves on the Judiciary Committee with Biden and often rides Amtrak with him to Washington, also offered praise.  "No one on the Democratic side knows more about foreign policy than Sen. Biden," Specter said. "He's been an articulate spokesman on the subject. He also knows about domestic policy. He's been a leader on crime control."

The swamp is already abuzz over Biden, but I haven't seen a reaction to the above statements. See some squealing over Biden after the jump.

Actual Freeper Quotes

My wife and I are laughing ourselves breathless this morning. Joe Biden? They've got to be kidding! You know, this could be really a fun election year after all... What else can we do this year to make the rat's heads spin ever more after the disaster of the "articulate and clean" Obama selecting Joe "The Plagerist" Biden? I'll start with this offering:

Despite the conceited, swaggering exterior, the narcissistic megalomania, and the snooty, cocky arrogance,,,B. Hussein Obama and Joe Biden most certainly are capable of experiencing emotions such as compassion, sympathy, humility and love,,,,unfortunately, these emotions do NOT involve anyone else.

I like "Smug and Plugs"

The "Barf" candidate....diarrhea of the mouth

I've been over to DU this morning, and they are less than enthusiastic. Though I suppose the shreiking over Mitt will exceed my decibel tolerance on this site.

McCain spent over five years suffering in the Hanoi Hilton.

Biden spend over five years suffering through hair transplants!!

Now you tell me, who has sacrificed and suffered more for this country?? /s

Does a political team give this stuff any thought when they vett a VP running mate. Obama bin Biden should have been enough to not chose this idiot.

Jonathan Alter (Time) makes the point that Biden at least is a shameless attack machine. He'll pour venom and virtrol all over McCain while Obama remains loftily "above the fray".

Still I see him as a net liability.

Obama/Biden. Sure to go down as one of the worst loser tickets in Presidential election history (that is if they can make it out of their own convention ROFL). McCain '08!

Some tell me, please, was it Biden, who from the Senate floor, compared our troops to Pol Pot, Nazi Stormtroopers, etc.? If it was Biden, some talented FReeper should post the YouTube video clip to EVERY THREAD ON THIS FORUM!

Voters need to know who and what their choices really are!

Luger, Hagel and Specter all didn't trust the power grab of Cheney's

As a former "Rockefeller Republican"
and mushy moderate I am thrilled with this selection. Biden was my second choice (after Richardson) early in the primaries. He brings real international cred to the ticket and will go a long way toward rehabilitating our international standing. Senator Obama again shows his solid good judgment.

Richardson's talents would have been lost as VP
I think Richardson would be better suited as Sec of State or UN Ambassador. He's still well respected in the international arena.

Sounds like chin challenged Gillespie and Miss Mehlman wrote this drek
Judge how scared they are of Obama/Biden by how fast and hard they want to trash Biden.

After the lobotomised Bush with Cheney's hand up his a$$ making the mouth move...if hair plugs is your BEST shot?

Then don't bother going to St Paul, save your money for 16 years from now, when you MIGHT matter.... again.

and freeper
Spend your time COUNTING up McCain's and Mittler's houses, that should keep you out of mischief ALL WEEK LONG.

McCain?
McCain spent over five years suffering in the Hanoi Hilton.

Didn't the Freepers get the memo?  Enhanced interrogation techniques don't constitute "suffering."

I can live with Biden
Every possible VP had pros and cons.

Biden brings a lot of experience to the campaign, plus he is not afraid to attack when necessary.

That seems to basically be the message of the Biden candidacy
Biden: We Don't Hate Him

[ Parent ]
Or...
"Biden: Change you can make believe in." I do wish Obama had chosen someone more progressive, but it could have been worse.

[ Parent ]
Biden's always seemed to me to be pretty moderate
Which gives some good synergy to the ticket.  We've got two moderate Democrats on the ticket now.  Biden does add some gravitas to the ticket, but I'd have to say I'd feel that he would add the same if someone else were VP and Obama came out during the convention and said that he planned on tapping Biden for the Secretary of State position.

Not to, you know, be a spelling Nazi or anything, but...
The word is spelled "plagiarist".  You know, if you want to seem semi-literate, or something.
