Blend-o-licious endorsements...

The Christian Civic League of Maine's Mike Hein calls Pam's House Blend:
"a leading source of radical homosexual propaganda, anti-Christian bigotry, and radical transgender advocacy."

He is "praying that Pam Spaulding will "turn away from her wicked and sinful promotion of homosexual behavior." (CCLM's web site, 10/15/07)

Ex-gay "Christian" activist James Hartline on Pam:
"I have been mocked over and over again by ungodly and unprincipled anti-christian lesbians."
(from "Six Years In Sodom: From The Journal Of James Hartline," 9/4/2006, written from the "homosexual stronghold" of Hillcrest in San Diego).

"Pam is a 'twisted lesbian sister' and an 'embittered lesbian' of the 'self-imposed gutteral experiences of the gay ghetto.'" -- 9/5/2008

Peter LaBarbera of Americans for Truth Against Homosexuality heartily endorses the Blend, calling Pam:

A "vicious anti-Christian lesbian activist."
(Concerned Women for America's radio show [9:15], 1/25/07)

"A nutty lesbian blogger."
(MassResistance radio show [16:25], 2/3/07)

Pam's House Blend always seems to find these sick f*cks. The area of the country she is in? The home state of her wife? I know, they are everywhere. Pam just does such a great job of bringing them out into the light.

Hot mic fun: Noonan, Murphy trash Palin on MSNBC

by: Pam Spaulding

Wed Sep 03, 2008 at 17:15:32 PM EDT

Conservative commentators think they are off the air; hear what they really think about Palin! Delish -- with a rough transcript:

Murphy: You know, because I come out of the blue swing state government work.  Engler, Whitman, Thompson, Mitt Romney, Jeb Bush.  And these guys, this is all how you want to (inaudible) this race.  You know, just run it up.  And it's not gonna work.
Noonan: It's over.
Murphy: Still, McCain can give a version of the Lieberman speech to do himself some good.
Noonan: I saw Kay this morning
Todd: They're all bummed out.  I mean, is she really the most qualified woman they could have turned to?
Murphy: She's never been comfortable.
Noonan: The most qualified?  No.  I think they went for this, excuse me, political bullshit about narratives and (inaudible) the picture.
Murphy: Yeah, but what's the narrative?
Noonan: Every time the Republicans do that because that's not where they live and it's not what they're good at and they blow it.
Murphy: You know what's really the worst thing about it?  The greatness of McCain is no cynicism
Todd: And as you called it gimmicky.
Murphy: ... and this is cynicism.

This is bombshell stuff, simply because any punditry out of these folks from now on that doesn't correlate with what they said during this hot mic video can be called out as bullsh*t.

So what are the oddsmakers saying about when McCain dumps his veep nom?

People who know guns say every gun is a loaded gun
In other words, you never treat a gun as if it's unloaded, even if you just unloaded it yourself.

This should be applied to microphones as well:

EVERY MICROPHONE IS A LIVE MICROPHONE.

I'm pleased to tell you today that I've just signed legislation that will outlaw Russia forever. We begin bombing in five minutes.

Every Politician Knows
every mic is hot and every camera is on.  These pundits know the same thing, these tools are their implements of employment.
Somewhere, very early this morning so I have no clue as to where, I read the spin Noonan is putting on her spinning wheel that she was really, really talking about something else.  Does not work because of the recording.

Pam,

Odds?
Intrade (a predictions market where you can bet on all sorts of things)listed the odds of Palin being dropped at 14.1% when I just looked. Up from 10% a few hours ago.

I wonder what the Vegas ods are.

Doesn't this kinda say a lot by itself?
In what other Presidential election could sources like intrade, assuming their existence, have even been asking the question of what the odds are of a VP pick stepping down?

The most telling part of this conversation
Is that these Republican operatives feel comfortable having this very damning, (to their cause), discussion with Chuck Todd sitting right there. They apparently have no qualms at all that he might report this as news as he certainly would have done had this been the Democrats having the same conversation about Joe Biden. Yet they go on chattering away with this journalist in their midst. Only a mistake with an open mic busted them because Todd would have never reported it.

Here's a bookie site that works and is updated

The Irish and British ones quoted in Huffpo didn't work- ? heavy traffic??

MSNBC contributor "GOP analyst"
Murphy is an MSNBC contributor who is usually introduced as a GOP strategist. (He's been an advisor to several prominent GOP names, including McCain, Romney, and Schwarzenegger.) He's a Californian who usually parrots the GOP talking points that he's expected to to spout for the MSNBC soundbites, but does it with a bit of humor.

But I don't see Palin resigning or getting kicked off the ticket. Her pick was, indeed, a gimmick but it's a good gimmick for McCain, since he's fired up the right-wing base. And she seems to be a clever enough politician to fire them up far more than McCain himself could do.

They now have the kind of "brand" appeal that some Obama advocates have been saying was his unique strength. And that's the cynical gimmick that McCain decided to go with. With her on the ticket, he's re-branded himself to become the all-new super-sudsy McCain 3.0.

The frightening thing for GOP insiders like Noonan and Murphy is that if it works, then they're left by the wayside.

I give it a week.
She withdraw, saying the evil leftist blogs are hurting her family. boo hoo.

And then Noonan
goes and writes this fluff for the WSJ. It's staggering hypocrisy.  There's no shame in our punditry. Sadly, this will dissolve into the memory hole before I click "Post".

Electricity's for light bulbs!

more to come
Plenty more commentators and conservative politicians will be caught disparaging the Ice Queen... no, not Cindy McCain...  Reform, Reform, Reform, but she's so far up crooked Ted Stevens' ass that she can see his tonsils.   Drill, drill, nuke, drill.... but no one is going to want refineries and nuclear plants near their homes.  Has a baby she knew would have Down's, but why the heck did she risk the health of the fetus with amnio if there was not some thought of aborting it in the first place?
