The Christian Civic League of Maine's Mike Hein calls Pam's House Blend:
"a leading source of radical homosexual propaganda, anti-Christian bigotry, and radical transgender advocacy."
He is "praying that Pam Spaulding will "turn away from her wicked and sinful promotion of homosexual behavior."
(CCLM's web site, 10/15/07)
Ex-gay "Christian" activist James Hartline on Pam:
"I have been mocked over and over again by ungodly and unprincipled anti-christian lesbians."
(from "Six Years In Sodom: From The Journal Of James Hartline," 9/4/2006, written from the "homosexual stronghold" of Hillcrest in San Diego)."Pam is a 'twisted lesbian sister' and an 'embittered lesbian' of the 'self-imposed gutteral experiences of the gay ghetto.'" -- 9/5/2008
Peter LaBarbera of Americans for Truth Against Homosexuality heartily endorses the Blend, calling Pam:
A "vicious anti-Christian lesbian activist." (Concerned Women for America's radio show [9:15], 1/25/07)
"A nutty lesbian blogger." (MassResistance radio show [16:25], 2/3/07)
Pam's House Blend always seems to find these sick f*cks. The area of the country she is in? The home state of her wife? I know, they are everywhere. Pam just does such a great job of bringing them out into the light.

I watched the Rudy Giuliani and Sarah Palin speeches last night, but before I get to it, I just have to laugh at the feeble country-rock song penned by John Rich entitled "Raisin' McCain". He performed it last night after all the speechifying:
Well he got shot down in a Vietnam town
Fighting for the red, white and blue
And they locked him up in the Hanoi Hilton
Thinking they could break him in two
He stayed strong, stayed extra long
'Til they let all the other boys out
Now we've got a real man with an American plan
We're going to put him in the big White House
Well we're all just raisin' McCain
Everywhere across the USA
You can get on the train or get out of the way
We're all just raisin' McCain
Actually, wasn't he shot down "over" a Vietnam town? And color me surprised; I had no idea that John W. McCain was prisoner of war in Vietnam! Considering how McCain is so loathe to talk about the experience, this is the first time I had ever heard of his POW past. It's a good thing that it was mentioned by every single speaker who took the stage, or else I might have missed that nugget of useful knowledge from forty years ago. Though I do take issue with the notion that he was "tortured" in the Hanoi Hilton. According to John Yoo and the Cheneyburton Maladministration, nothing done to McCain approximates the pain of death or organ failure. The Vietnamese just used "enhanced interrogation techniques".
But I digress. As the "Raisin' McCain" song blared, the cameras focused on a woman holding a sign with those words on it, but missing the helpful little apostrophe that signifies the dropped "g".
RAISIN MCCAIN
Perfect. When I think of McCain, I too think "raisin". Used to be a perfectly good grape, but now withered and wrinkled in the sun. |
