The Christian Civic League of Maine's Mike Hein calls Pam's House Blend:
"a leading source of radical homosexual propaganda, anti-Christian bigotry, and radical transgender advocacy."

He is "praying that Pam Spaulding will "turn away from her wicked and sinful promotion of homosexual behavior." (CCLM's web site, 10/15/07)

Ex-gay "Christian" activist James Hartline on Pam:
"I have been mocked over and over again by ungodly and unprincipled anti-christian lesbians."
(from "Six Years In Sodom: From The Journal Of James Hartline," 9/4/2006, written from the "homosexual stronghold" of Hillcrest in San Diego).

"Pam is a 'twisted lesbian sister' and an 'embittered lesbian' of the 'self-imposed gutteral experiences of the gay ghetto.'" -- 9/5/2008

Peter LaBarbera of Americans for Truth Against Homosexuality heartily endorses the Blend, calling Pam:

A "vicious anti-Christian lesbian activist."
(Concerned Women for America's radio show [9:15], 1/25/07)

"A nutty lesbian blogger."
(MassResistance radio show [16:25], 2/3/07)

Pam's House Blend always seems to find these sick f*cks. The area of the country she is in? The home state of her wife? I know, they are everywhere. Pam just does such a great job of bringing them out into the light.

New McCain ad touts candidate's opposition to protecting children from sex abuse

by: Pam Spaulding

Tue Sep 09, 2008 at 21:00:00 PM EDT

Lying really comes naturally to the McCain campaign; it's quite astonishing at the ease with which this shop churns out the bullsh*t. Take a look at this ad:

Education Week says Obama "hasn't made a significant mark on education".
That he's "elusive" on accountability.

A "staunch defender of the existing public school monopoly".

Obama's one accomplishment?

Legislation to teach "comprehensive sex education" to kindergartners.

Learning about sex before learning to read?

Barack Obama.

Wrong on education. Wrong for your family.

JOHN MCCAIN: I'm John McCain and I approved this message.

And now for the fact check:

Obama Voted For, But Was Not a Sponsor of, A Bill That Provided Non-Mandatory Sex And Health Education To Grades K-12, Ensuring That All Instruction Was "Age Appropriate."  The bill allowed any student to opt out of the course with a written request from their parent or guardian and required all instruction to be age appropriate and factually and medically accurate.  It emphasized the consequences of pregnancy and sexually transmitted diseases as well as how to say no to unwanted sexual advances. The course instruction would be based on personal responsibility, promoting healthy relationships, and would be free from bias. The bill was clear that all content would include "age appropriate instruction." 93rd  GA, SB 99, HHS Committee P 7-4-0, 3/6/03; Session Sine Die, 1/11/05

Therefore, it appears that John McCain believes that children should not learn in school how to avoid sexual predators and inappropriate touching. What else can you gather? Perhaps he believes all children have access to that information in the home. Right, and what if the potential abuser might be in the home? These people are sick.

The Obama campaign was right out of the box with a response:

"It is shameful and downright perverse for the McCain campaign to use a bill that was written to protect young children from sexual predators as a recycled and discredited  political attack against a father of two young girls - a position that his friend Mitt Romney also holds.  Last week, John McCain told Time magazine he couldn't define what honor was.  Now we know why," said Obama campaign spokesman Bill Burton.
Jesse at Pandagon:
Apparently, John McCain is now going after the sexual predator vote, which, hey, Mark Foley joke!  But no, really, to have to admire the chutzpah which lets you think it's a good idea to attack someone who wants to prevent sexual abuse?  That's what a maverick does...from his throne of child porn and old packages of Underoos. Which, at this point, I feel it is utterly responsible to say with 100% certainty John McCain owns and uses frequently.

Obama and McCain's education records
Did you know that Obama has introduced 11 education bills in Congress this session and John McCain has introduced zero?:

http://www.opencongress.org/ar...

they also digitally altered the obama picture
I posted this over at my place and am too pissed to re-type, so:

Go back and watch it again. Specifically, watch what they do with the image of Obama's face beginning at the :22 mark. As the words "Learning About Sex" flash on and fade from the screen, his face is subtly altered by shortening his chin and amplifying the width of his lips--in short, transforming a photo of what appeared to be a quietly reflective smile into a creepy leer.

I've watched it ten times in a row. I'm not making this up. It's blatant and completely disgusting. It's completely shameless. Watch it and please tell me I'm wrong.

Age appropriate
Why are these people afraid of teaching little ones about good and bad touching? I don't understand the mindset.

My friends 4 year old is fascinated by the pregnant teacher at preschool. Insists she has babies (or sometimes puppies) in her belly. Kids, even toddlers, are fascinated by baby animals and reproduction. Age appropriate sex education is keeping a pregnant hamster in the classroom and watching the babies develop under their mother's care -not porno videos.

I assume
of course, that the mother hamster doesn't eat her babies- which is another kind of lesson.

SLEAZIST ad EVER from TIME magazine
Apology Not Accepted

Back in 2000, after John McCain lost his mostly honorable campaign for the Republican presidential nomination, he went about apologizing to journalists--including me--for his most obvious mis-step: his support for keeping the confederate flag on the state house.

Now he is responsible for one of the sleaziest ads I've ever seen in presidential politics, so sleazy that I won't abet its spread by linking to it, but here's the McClatchy fact check.

I just can't wait for the moment when John McCain--contrite and suddenly honorable again in victory or defeat--talks about how things got a little out of control in the passion of the moment. Talk about putting lipstick on a pig.

Update: More, from Hilzoy. The Cub Scouts teach perversion too!

NEW LYING AD from McCain
McCain Ad: Obama Camp Trying To "Destroy" Palin
Posted by Brian Montopoli| 22

The McCain campaign has released a new television ad, "Fact Check," that suggests the Obama campaign is trying to "destroy" Republican vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin. No word on how often the ad will run or where; the McCain camp will say only that it is running in "key states."

"The attacks on Governor Palin have been called 'completely false'...'misleading,'" an announcer says as the spot opens. "And, they've just begun. The Journal reports Obama 'air-dropped a mini-army of 30 lawyers, investigators and opposition researchers' into Alaska to dig dirt on Governor Palin. As Obama drops in the polls, he'll try to destroy her. Obama's 'politics of hope'? Empty words."

As CBS News chief political consultant Marc Ambinder reported yesterday, Mike Gehrke, the DNC's research chief, denies that Democrats have deployed a "mini-army" to Alaska to dig up dirt on Palin.

"Not a single person from DC or Chicago has traveled to Alaska to do research," Gahrke wrote, saying that no Obama or DNC staffer (or hired gun) has made the trip.

He called the paragraph in the Journal report containing the claim featured in the McCain ad a "flat-out absolute fabrication," adding, "we have sent absolutely zero people."   http://www.cbsnews.com/blogs/2...
