Blend-o-licious endorsements...

The Christian Civic League of Maine's Mike Hein calls Pam's House Blend:
"a leading source of radical homosexual propaganda, anti-Christian bigotry, and radical transgender advocacy."

He is "praying that Pam Spaulding will "turn away from her wicked and sinful promotion of homosexual behavior." (CCLM's web site, 10/15/07)

Ex-gay "Christian" activist James Hartline on Pam:
"I have been mocked over and over again by ungodly and unprincipled anti-christian lesbians."
(from "Six Years In Sodom: From The Journal Of James Hartline," 9/4/2006, written from the "homosexual stronghold" of Hillcrest in San Diego).

"Pam is a 'twisted lesbian sister' and an 'embittered lesbian' of the 'self-imposed gutteral experiences of the gay ghetto.'" -- 9/5/2008

Peter LaBarbera of Americans for Truth Against Homosexuality heartily endorses the Blend, calling Pam:

A "vicious anti-Christian lesbian activist."
(Concerned Women for America's radio show [9:15], 1/25/07)

"A nutty lesbian blogger."
(MassResistance radio show [16:25], 2/3/07)

Pam's House Blend always seems to find these sick f*cks. The area of the country she is in? The home state of her wife? I know, they are everywhere. Pam just does such a great job of bringing them out into the light.

McCain Aide Rick Davis's Firm Was Paid By Freddie Mac -- Until Last Month

by: Autumn Sandeen

Wed Sep 24, 2008 at 08:30:00 AM EDT

The New York Times news alert I got yesterday in my inbox told me the following:

One of the giant mortgage companies at the heart of the credit crisis paid $15,000 a month to a firm owned by Senator John McCain's campaign manager from the end of 2005 through last month, according to two people with direct knowledge of the arrangement. The disclosure contradicts a statement Sunday night by Mr. McCain that the campaign manager, Rick Davis, had no involvement with the company for the last several years.

Yikes.

In the New York Times article McCain aide's firm was paid by Freddie Mac:

They said they did not recall Mr. Davis doing much substantive work for the company in return for the money, other than speak to a political action committee composed of high-ranking employees in October 2006 on the coming midterm congressional elections. They said Mr. Davis's his firm, Davis & Manafort, was kept on the payroll because of Mr. Davis's close ties to Mr. McCain, the Republican presidential nominee, who was widely expected by 2006 to run again for the White House.

Double yikes. Bad enough his business was getting money from Freddie Mac -- but getting paid for apparently while not doing any lobbying? And then, Sen. McCain ended up not telling the truth about Rick Davis's involvement with Freddie Mac.

Given the proposed $700 billion bailout of the banking industry where Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac are part of the nation's economic meltdown, this story has the potential of being a pretty significant scandal.

Below the fold: Rachel Maddow interviews one of the two writers of the New York Times article.

SPREAD this EVERYWHERE...McCain uses American Idol make up woman OVER 5 grand!
McCain Employed Idol Make-Up Artist

We love this:

John McCain, whose ads skewer Barack Obama for his "celebrity" status, has his own close ties to show business, the new issue of Us Weekly reports exclusively.

The 72-year-old was recently made TV-ready by makeup artist Tifanie White who's worked on So You Think You Can Dance! and American Idol.

McCain paid the 2002 beauty-school grad $5,583.43 for her services, according to the Federal Election Commission.
That's a pretty good bargain...

Well doesn't that make John Edward's 400 buck coif look FRUGAL!
Hell I would have guessed McCain was using a make up person who works at a funeral home

What have you done today, to make ya feel PROUD?
