The Christian Civic League of Maine's Mike Hein calls Pam's House Blend:
"a leading source of radical homosexual propaganda, anti-Christian bigotry, and radical transgender advocacy."

He is "praying that Pam Spaulding will "turn away from her wicked and sinful promotion of homosexual behavior." (CCLM's web site, 10/15/07)

Ex-gay "Christian" activist James Hartline on Pam:
"I have been mocked over and over again by ungodly and unprincipled anti-christian lesbians."
(from "Six Years In Sodom: From The Journal Of James Hartline," 9/4/2006, written from the "homosexual stronghold" of Hillcrest in San Diego).

"Pam is a 'twisted lesbian sister' and an 'embittered lesbian' of the 'self-imposed gutteral experiences of the gay ghetto.'" -- 9/5/2008

Peter LaBarbera of Americans for Truth Against Homosexuality heartily endorses the Blend, calling Pam:

A "vicious anti-Christian lesbian activist."
(Concerned Women for America's radio show [9:15], 1/25/07)

"A nutty lesbian blogger."
(MassResistance radio show [16:25], 2/3/07)

Pam's House Blend always seems to find these sick f*cks. The area of the country she is in? The home state of her wife? I know, they are everywhere. Pam just does such a great job of bringing them out into the light.

There's No Time Outs in the White house

NOTE FROM PAM (5:22PM): Obama rejects McCain's debate delay: "It's my belief that this is exactly the time when the American people need to hear from the person who, in approximately 40 days, will be responsible for dealing with this mess," Obama said at a news conference in Clearwater, Fla. "It's going to be part of the president's job to deal with more than one thing at once.".

This is the weakest shit I've heard in a long time.

Republican John McCain said Wednesday he is directing his staff to work with Democrat Barack Obama's campaign and the presidential debate commission to delay Friday's debate because of the economic crisis.

In a statement, McCain said he will stop campaigning after addressing former President Clinton's Global Initiative session on Thursday and return to Washington to focus on the nation's financial problems.

The Republican presidential hopeful called Obama before he made the statement and told him he was going to suspend his campaign, according to a McCain senior adviser.

Message: What is John McCain afraid of?

Message: John McCain has no message on the economy.

Message: A president can't postpone a crisis while he gets his act together.

Message: There's no time-outs in the White House

Message: John McCain isn't ready to talk about the economy.

Message: John McCain doesn't want to talk to you about the bailout.

If I were Obama, I'd stand in front of a camera and say something like this.

John McCain can't wait to get back to Washington. The people he wants to talk to about the economy and the bailout are in Washington. The people he wants to hear from about the economy and the bailout are in Washington. The people John McCain thinks are dealing with the economy and will deal with the bailout are in Washington.

I guess John McCain has forgotten his own words. It's easy to be in Washington and frankly be somewhat divorced from the day-to-day challenges people have. Like I said before, if all you do is walk the halls of power, all you'll hear is the wants of the powerful.

John McCain can go back to Washington and talk with the people he thinks are dealing with the economy and will deal with the bailout. But you know and I know, the people who are really dealing with the economy, and the people who who are really going to pay for the bailout are out here in the rest of America, going to work, paying their bills, taking care of their families, and it's getting harder for them to do it.

Let John McCain go back to Washington. Until I get a call from the Senate that it's time for a vote, I'm staying out here to talk to you and listen to you, because the real economy isn't in Washington, or on Wall Street. It's right here.

Don't take the bait!
In a statement, McCain said he will stop campaigning
During the 2000 campaign, when Missouri Gov - and Dem Senate nominee - Mel Carnahan was killed in a plane crash shortly before the election, incumbent Republican Sen. John Ashcroft suspended his campaign.

Mel Carnahan won posthumously.

In 2002, after incumbent Minnesota Democratic Sen. Paul Wellsone was killed in a plane crash shortly before the election, Wellstone's opponent, Norm Coleman, received a piece of advice: Don't suspend your campaign.

That piece of advice came from AG John Ashcroft.

Coleman won.

Sen. Obama: Heed the 'wisdom' of John Ashcroft (words I never thought I'd type, believe me.)  Don't take Sen. McDeregulator's bait.

>^..^<

Gimmick
The current numbers in a CNN poll:
John McCain's request to delay campaigning and this week's debate is:

An effort to help the economy    27%    12247
A political gimmick                  69%    31454
Something else                          5%      2141

Total Votes:                                           45842

>^..^<

I'm sorry
to bring this up. But the headline "There's no time outs..." There isn't? Come on, use the proper contraction. "There're". I know everybody's doing it. It doesn't make it right.

Obama
Made McBush look like a bigger idiot than he already is.

"It's going to be part of the president's job to deal with more than one thing at once."

That was the best line of the entire campaign.

Besser ein ende mit Schrecken als ein Schrecken ohne ende

God Bless Maxine Waters
she just said, I don't think McCain is prepared to debate. This McCain stunt ain't selling, he's had more than a week to haul his a$$ back to DC, if this was such an emergency.

What have you done today, to make ya feel PROUD?

DID she...
oh my. Oh MY.

It is gonna be interesting to see if there is enough outrage by the SENATE MEMBERS for them to come forward and denounce this stunt. A low likelihood, but some will.

"It goes on one at a time, it starts when you care to act, it starts when you do it again after they said no, it starts when you say We and know who you mean, and each day you mean one more."

the Letterman gaffe makes this stunt LAUGHABLE!

yes!!
I'd LOVE to see that commercial!!!

This is the PERFECT time for DEBATES!
We should just move them to Washington DC and make the topic be the economy.

This stunt shows the utter poverty of our politics.
Elections are apparently not supposed to be about the real problems our country is facing and how to solve them.  No, elections are distractions and side shows, according to John McCain and the Republicans.  They're purely trivial, and we simply don't have time for them when something important to deal with comes up.

It's a pretty extreme level of contempt for the whole idea of democracy.

...

I have to add, Obama's desire for a "bi-partisan" solution is almost as enraging, and in a way nearly as contemptuous of democracy as McCain's stunt.  He apparently doesn't think a trillion dollar spend need vigorous public debate either.  (Just let the experts handle it, huh?  Grrrrrr.)

The "bi-partisan" consensus is what drove the country into the ditch.  The people want an alternative to more bullshit aynrandian ideology, not to blindly hand over responsibility for the fix to the same people who broke it.

The Fundamentals of the Economy
And those would be the AMERICAN WORKERS.....

ARE STRONG!  (According to McCentury...a few days ago...)

Let the STRONG oversee the process of culling the weak (i.e. those whose contributions to society come solely at the expense of the community).

This is the line of attack that should be implemented by Obama.  He can use the words that McSame HAMMERED over and over last week (in response to being uniformed that the Republicans were about to declare a disaster of the economy...just before the elections)

The people, who are the last remaining fundamental strength of our economy deserve a seat at the table.

Enjoy.

Mom always told me I was special and I believed her.
