The Christian Civic League of Maine's Mike Hein calls Pam's House Blend:
"a leading source of radical homosexual propaganda, anti-Christian bigotry, and radical transgender advocacy."

He is "praying that Pam Spaulding will "turn away from her wicked and sinful promotion of homosexual behavior." (CCLM's web site, 10/15/07)

Ex-gay "Christian" activist James Hartline on Pam:
"I have been mocked over and over again by ungodly and unprincipled anti-christian lesbians."
(from "Six Years In Sodom: From The Journal Of James Hartline," 9/4/2006, written from the "homosexual stronghold" of Hillcrest in San Diego).

"Pam is a 'twisted lesbian sister' and an 'embittered lesbian' of the 'self-imposed gutteral experiences of the gay ghetto.'" -- 9/5/2008

Peter LaBarbera of Americans for Truth Against Homosexuality heartily endorses the Blend, calling Pam:

A "vicious anti-Christian lesbian activist."
(Concerned Women for America's radio show [9:15], 1/25/07)

"A nutty lesbian blogger."
(MassResistance radio show [16:25], 2/3/07)

Pam's House Blend always seems to find these sick f*cks. The area of the country she is in? The home state of her wife? I know, they are everywhere. Pam just does such a great job of bringing them out into the light.

Petulant pr*ck McCain still refuses to make eye contact with Obama

by: Pam Spaulding

Thu Oct 02, 2008 at 12:30:00 PM EDT

The man is a ticking time bomb. He can't hold it together in public; look how he treated Barack Obama on the Senate floor, where diplomacy and decorum are the norm. (CQ):
Let the record reflect that Barack Obama made the approach to John McCain tonight.

As the two shared the Senate floor tonight for the first time since they won their party nominations, Obama stood chatting with Democrats on his side of the aisle, and McCain stood on the Republican side of the aisle.

So Obama crossed over into enemy territory. He walked over to where McCain was chatting with Republican Sen. Mel Martinez of Florida and Independent Sen. Joseph I. Lieberman of Connecticut. And he stretched out his arm and offered his hand to McCain. McCain shook it, but with a "go away" look that no one could miss. He tried his best not to even look at Obama.

Finally, with a tight smile, McCain managed a greeting: "Good to see you." Obama got the message. He shook hands with Martinez and Lieberman -- both of whom greeted him more warmly -- and quickly beat a retreat back to the Democratic side.

This is really disturbing behavior. One cannot believe his mother raised John Sidney McCain to be such a rude SOB. He's an embarrassment. The bottom line, politicaly speaking, is the man seems incapable of anger management and basic tact. Josh Marshall:
Campaigns are filled with hyperbole.  But this, the no-eye-contact business at the debate and even the over-the-top affect at the Des Moines Register editorial meeting together suggest that McCain feels a sense of palpable disgust with Obama or visceral antipathy for him that is so great he's incapable of overcoming it in public settings.  That's a troubling lack of emotional control.  But it seems in line with the character trait many mention about McCain -- that he is unable to engage in any contest without demonizing his opponent in his own head.

The MSM isn't ignoring it--hurray!
I was concerned that the MSM would not talk about this, but it comes up over and over about the debate and now his latest rudeness confirms that.  Interestingly, Chris Matthews who used to have a man crush on McCain really glommed onto this, which reveals who the true McCain is:

http://www.newsbusters.org/blo...

Pam, it's really beyond petulance.  It's rage, shame and contempt. He's ashamed of his age and ill-health, enraged that someone so comparatively young is ahead of him, and his way out of these feelings is contempt.  When you raise yourself above someone, you make yourself feel better about yourself by diminishing the object of your contempt.  the affect dynamics are evident, but that's the GOp in general: contempt-based.

"In order to maintain an untenable position, you have to be actively ignorant."  The Colbert Report

Here's what I wrote on my blog yesterday
Why can't we have a president who treats us respect and knows how to control his temper? I think that's reason enough to vote for Barack Obama. I don't want to see this kind of antisocial behavior in the White House. It just proves that McCain thinks he's better than the common person. He shows contempt when he's asked a guestion he doesn't like. That's not being presidential.

I'm wondering if there is more to this.
Yes, Obama is smarter, more charismatic, and younger but there's also something else.  McCain did fight long and hard against having a holiday honoring Dr. King.  Maybe there's also the added "insult" of Barack Obama not being of the proper ethnic heritage for a POTUS.  There is a heck of a lot of that out there, why should we assume that he's above it?  He does tend to have a lot of character flaws, such as lying, impulsive behavior, and anger.  Why not racism?
As for the Senate being civilized, here's another example of how good Southern small town conservatives deal with those evil Massachusetts liberals:

My America includes LGBT families.

Character flaws
Don't forget he's an adulterer, too.

That's the worst one in my book. He left the woman who waited five years for him to return home from prison. He left her for a wealthy heiress almost 20 years younger. What kind of horrible monster could do that?

McCain is a pig. Obama is so much the better man.

Obama has been married to the same woman for 16 years. It is his first and only marriage. There's not even a hint of speculation that he's ever cheated on her.

How could McCain look Obama in the eye?

When you look for the bad in mankind, expecting to find it, you surely will.

And don't forget his appalling sexism.
McCain is a man, after all, who thinks that raping women is something to tell jokes about.  "Pig" doesn't begin to describe him.

Cynic, n.  A blackguard whose faulty vision sees things as they are, not as they ought to be.
-Bierce, The Devil's Dictionary

[ Parent ]
Just look at the Martin Luther King Jr. issue
He refused to go with the initiative to honor Dr. King with a holiday. Of course racism is possible with this geezer. Or maybe he didn't make eye contact out of embarrassment, since he can barely raise either arm to make a decent handshake. Have you seen the guy try waving to a crowd? He looks like one of my old action figures, awkwardly posed.

[ Parent ]
McCain needs a therapist
He never learned to deal with his POW experience and move on. As a result, his emotions have control over him.

It should be obvious to everyone in America that he's ill-suited to the presidency. If he can't even be diplomatic with a fellow senator, how would he behave in talks with world leaders?

Tax the Christian Taliban!

I strongly agree with you here
I also believe that the stress of his campaign combined with his advanced age are pushing him over the edge into senility.

He said he wasn't going to run on his POW status, yet is constantly talking about having been a POW. He also can't seem to look ahead to the future, constantly returning to the past.

I think it's more than just racism or arrogance on the part of McCain. I'm beginning to believe he's seeing it as us vs. them with 'them' being anyone different from himself, especially when it comes to skin color. In his head, he's reverting back to being a POW and the PTSS is taking over. I wouldn't be surprised if this is the reason he's "hiding/being hidden" from the press.

I also wouldn't be surprised if he did suffer a "mini-stroke".

Campaigning is stressful in and of itself, being POTUS even more so. Eight years in the oval office adds 20 years to your age. Bill Clinton looked older than McCain when he left office. I don't see McCain surviving even a single term in office.

My BF is a clinical psychologist
He worked as an Army psychologist for many years and is an expert in PTSD.

Don't get him started on what he thinks of McCain's possible psychological state and the fact that he's never received therapy.

He says he's seen McCain's look of suppressed rage thousands of times. It is potentially dangerous.

When you look for the bad in mankind, expecting to find it, you surely will.

I think the better point to be made here
because goodness knows, John McCain has definitely shown himself to be an utterly contemptable human being, right down to stifling his own mother from speaking to the media and calling his wife repulsive names in front of the media is that:

Barack Obama is the polar opposite of John InSane.

Obama would be completely justified, after all that's been shown to be proven true about his opponent, to sneer at him- yet, he is a gentleman.

Better yet- Obama is a very decent human being.

Perhaps...
Barack Obama is the polar opposite of John InSane
Perhaps he's the bipolar opposite.

That's not a jab at those who are bipolar.  Its a genuine concern about McBush.

>^..^<

[ Parent ]
And you may well be right
all jabs aside, there really seems to be something medically not right with Mr, McCain.

Whether it's a blood flow issue, early dementia, psychological, combinations, etc. I have no solid clue (my medical experience was all in labwork)- but there are enough different symptoms showing themselves that should be concerning, imo.

If my dad (68) exhibited symptoms like some we've seen, I'd be demanding he get a thorough checkup.

So women are too emotional to be leaders, eh?
Just imagine what would happen to a woman who'd pulled the dramatics and self-indulgence McCain has done in the past ten days. I'm going to remind people about this the next time they say women get too emotional.

Great point
A woman who behaved this way would be called "hormonal" and get tagged with the b-word.

When you look for the bad in mankind, expecting to find it, you surely will.

- Abraham Lincoln.

[ Parent ]
Spot on.
Indeed. Remember when the MSM went all berzerk covering an emotional second Hillary had? She wasn't even crying and they reported all this b.s. about it... conveniently ignoring the fact that John Boehner and Mitt Romney have cried in public and were never excoriated for it.I think actually Boehner is a huge baby, has cried a few times... maybe it's the booze.

[ Parent ]
Blame the f*cktards
who did in Senator Ed Muskie for this one, ie, tears = weakness in politicians.

It was bullshit then and remains so.

Obama should thank his lucky stars
McCain snubs him.  If only we could get the bastard to leave the rest of us alone, too.

Cynic, n.  A blackguard whose faulty vision sees things as they are, not as they ought to be.

I loved that...
Lieberman was on the other side of the aisle, chatting with Sen. Martinez and McCain. That's where he belongs  - the damned traitor!

McCAIN GIVING UP MICHIGAN!... and so are jobs.
Obama hammered McCain's economic record during a rally in Michigan, a state struggling with the country's highest unemployment rate. The Illinois senator's speech came several hours before knowledgeable Republican officials said McCain's campaign has given up trying to win Michigan and is shifting resources from there to other states.
... a state that McCain made a target this year. Amid signs Obama is pulling ahead here, the GOP officials said the Arizona senator canceled a trip to the state next week, won't run ads on TV after this week and is dispatching staffers to states that show him in stronger position.

McCain so out of touch.

"Nine straight months of job loss," Obama said. "Yet, just the other week, John McCain said the fundamentals of the economy are strong. Well, I don't know what yardstick Sen. McCain uses, but where I come from, there's nothing more fundamental than a job."

It's the Hammer of JUSTICE,
It's the Bell of FREEDOM,
It's the Song about LOVE between,

...All over this Land.

He hates Obama
After the the presidental debate, MSNBC commentator Pat Buchanan said that McCain '..detests Obama' as he does Mitt Romney. Pat snickered and shook his head and said 'the man just doesn't get over his anger'. When he doesn't like someone, it stays forever.
