Blend-o-licious endorsements...

The Christian Civic League of Maine's Mike Hein calls Pam's House Blend:
"a leading source of radical homosexual propaganda, anti-Christian bigotry, and radical transgender advocacy."

He is "praying that Pam Spaulding will "turn away from her wicked and sinful promotion of homosexual behavior." (CCLM's web site, 10/15/07)

Ex-gay "Christian" activist James Hartline on Pam:
"I have been mocked over and over again by ungodly and unprincipled anti-christian lesbians."
(from "Six Years In Sodom: From The Journal Of James Hartline," 9/4/2006, written from the "homosexual stronghold" of Hillcrest in San Diego).

"Pam is a 'twisted lesbian sister' and an 'embittered lesbian' of the 'self-imposed gutteral experiences of the gay ghetto.'" -- 9/5/2008

Peter LaBarbera of Americans for Truth Against Homosexuality heartily endorses the Blend, calling Pam:

A "vicious anti-Christian lesbian activist."
(Concerned Women for America's radio show [9:15], 1/25/07)

"A nutty lesbian blogger."
(MassResistance radio show [16:25], 2/3/07)

Pam's House Blend always seems to find these sick f*cks. The area of the country she is in? The home state of her wife? I know, they are everywhere. Pam just does such a great job of bringing them out into the light.

McCain to deliver keynote at creationist gathering

by: Pam Spaulding

Wed Feb 14, 2007 at 06:00:00 AM EST

How low can The Tool go? Apparently there is no end to his pandering; he really, really, really wants to sit in Chimpy's chair. (Think Progress):
...on February 23, Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) will be the keynote speaker for the most prominent creationism advocacy group in the country. The Discovery Institute, a religious right think-tank, is well-known for its strong opposition to evolutionary biology and its advocacy for "intelligent design." The institute's main financial backer, savings and loan heir Howard Ahmanson, spent 20 years on the board of the Chalcedon Foundation, "a theocratic outfit that advocates the replacement of American civil law with biblical law."
TP also notes that McCain has been for creationism and against it -- flip-flopperama. In 2005 he said that intelligent design should be taught in schools, but last year he stated that ID didn't belong in science classrooms.

To give him credit
Not that he really deserves it, but to be fair his appearance really isn't sponsored by the Discovery institute.

It is sponsored by a group called the "world affairs council", and there are a list of "supporters" of which the Discovery institute is one, along with Boeing, the U of Washington .....

http://www.world-aff...

It's really more of a case of the Discovery Institute trying to claim credit for McCains appearance than anything else.

Ya know....
Folks, I'm not sure why you guys spend so much time on John McCain.  Nobody on my end really is going to vote for him.  :)

How The Mighty Have Fallen
John McCain, once a legitimate hero, then a heroic figure and maverick politician is now showing that his political ambition has eaten away all that was once honorable.

Pandagon is radioactive
But the Chalcedon scum who openly advocate the death penalty for homosexuality get pandered to by presidential candidates.

What can be done?  And who's going to do it?  The joke's over, Democrats.  How are we to fight these people?

McCain to deliver keynote at creationist gathering
It's amazing what politics can do to a person.  Makes them say things they don't mean and do things they don't want to.  But they are willing to do these things in order to achieve something for themselves, not for their country.

Is it true that McCain has asked his wife to change her name to Laura?  Yes, I'm just kidding about that.

Go, John.....
The Theocrats become less and less relevant every day.  That is certainly the case in Minnesota, with the exception of Michele Bachmann's district.

McCain will be doing some interesting dances to determine how much of the general election vote he can sacrifice in order to gain primary/caucus support.  I think he's done.

I'm running out of McSyrup
To put on my McWaffles.  time to just add to the list.

"I would rather be exposed to the inconveniences attending too much liberty than to those attending too small a degree of it." -- Thomas Jefferson

And trying for tit for tat what is Mitt Romney doing?
he is expected to be the commencement speaker at the Rev. Pat Robertson's Regent University in May.

I've never understood the right wingnuts' fascination with John McCain...
...As far as I can tell, his only claim to fame was that he stupidly sat on his ass in a North Vietnamese prison camp for six years, instead of allowing himself to be repatriated to the US.  If McCain had been repatriated to the US, he could have run a few more bombing missions over North Vietnam.

I believed the Vietnam War to be a travesty, but the idea that he's some kind of hero to the wingnuts by sitting on his ass for six years makes me wonder about the wingnuts.
